It was signed with 'B.' Brent was tagged in the note. 'Pagisipan ko,' Mika said in her caption. Brent reposted Mika's post on his Instagram Story. MikBrent was among the popular ships from 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' They are the first Big Duo winners of PBB and donated their prize money to charity. The GMA Gala is returning for its fourth year, and it will be held on August 2. GMA Kapuso Foundation brings aid to typhoon, flood victims in Pampanga, Zambales, more
The GMA Kapuso Foundation continued to bring relief assistance to thousands of families in different parts of the country who have been affected by the back-to-back typhoons and tropical storms recently. According to "24 Oras" on Friday, the Kapuso Foundation and the 701st Brigade of the Philippine Army brought relief goods and soap to over 1,800 families in Macabebe, Pampanga, with the Office of Civil Defense lending a truck to the team for the mercy mission. "Kung magtutuloy-tuloy po 'yung ganitong sama ng panahon at ang taas ng high tide, tingin po namin magtatagal pa," said Kenneth Chase Balingit of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Macabebe, Pampanga. The GMA Kapuso Foundation and the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment also made their way to Santa Cruz, Zambales, to bring aid to a total of 500 families who had to evacuate due to the heavy rains. Relief goods and warm porridge were also provided to farmers in Benguet who lost their crops and were affected by the landslides. On Friday morning, GMA Kapuso Foundation brought more relief assistance to a total of 1,500 families in North and East Fairview in Quezon City, as well as 1,000 families in Dinalupihan and Hermosa, Bataan. Relief operations for calamity victims will continue in Central Luzon, with plans to also bring aid to Pangasinan, La Union, and other parts of Pampanga and Bulacan. Previously, the GMA Kapuso Foundation also brought aid to residents in Rizal, Bulacan, Valenzuela City, and Quezon City. Signal No. 1 remains hoisted over three areas, namely Batanes, babuyan Islands, and the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana). GMA Gala 2025 is just a month away and Kapuso celebrities are busy with preparations for the big event. In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, several stars shared what to watch for in their outfits at this year's gala. Julie Anne San Jose teased that she'll be going for something "classic but sophisticated." "Every year naman talaga kailangan. 'Yun na muna 'yung description para pag ano na, pasabog 'di ba?" Gabbi Garcia and Andrea Torres, for their part, will be trying something new in their outfits. "I've never worn this color for gala ever, so medyo hindi ako black and white this year kasi most of the time neutrals ako, so abangan nila kung ano ba 'yung kulay na susuotin ko," said Gabbi. Kapuso Foundation distributes school arm chairs and teachers' desks to Rizal public school
The Kapuso Foundation has distributed 35 school arm chairs and teachers desks to Catmon Elementary School in Rodriguez Rizal. Together with McDonalds Philippines, the Kapuso Foundation extended help to the public elementary school after it withstood damage from two of last year's typhoons, Carina and Enteng. Apart from repainting the four Kapuso classrooms that the Kapuso Foundation donated following 2009's Ondoy, GMA's charitable institution partnered with McDonalds Philippines to donate and distribute 35 school arm chairs that have been repurposed from old restaurant furniture. The chairs are a product of McDonalds Philippines' Reclassified Project, where old but still usable furniture are repurposed and are made stronger to help address the lack of chairs in public schools in the country. They spruced up the chairs, repainted them, and made them stronger and more comfortable for the kids. For good measure, also donated teachers' desks. "Malaking tulong ang mga upuan. Kinder and Grade 1 students from the province of Maguindanao Del Norte received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation.
