Kasey Campion hits out at driving tests following M50 scare
An Irish influencer has hit out at the Irish driving test system after she was close to having a 'heart attack' following a scary experience on the M50. Kasey Campion had been on the M50 driving to work when the tyre of her car burst and she was forced to pull in on the busy motorway. The incident happened at approximately 9.30pm with the podcaster later admitting she hadn't known how to deal with the terrifying situation. Kasey Campion had been on the M50 driving to work when the tyre of her car burst and she was forced to pull in on the busy motorway. Pic: Instagram Taking to TikTok from the side of the M50, Kasey said: 'Guys it would only be me to make a TikTok in this position but my car, the tyre is burst, I'm on the side of the M50. 'I've to be in work in half an hour and I'm actually sh****ng myself, what do I do right now? I'm on the side of the M50, lads, I'm actually going to have a heart attack.' Kasey reiterated her questions as she revealed her father had told her to get behind the crash barriers. @kaseycampion20 guys im safe now typing this from a Garda car but my life honestly flashed before my eyes #help #crash #notokay #flat ♬ All My Friends – Dermot Kennedy The young woman followed up with a clip from the safety of a Garda car before sharing a clip of her car on a tow-truck. Kasey met her father at the Ballymun exit of the m50 where the pair waited for an emergency tyre fitter to arrive and change the tyre, costing '220 of her hard-earned euros.' 'I am not taking this €220 sitting down,' Kasey hit out, holding up a bottle of BPerfect's Chroma Cover, which she revealed she was linking in the video. @kaseycampion20 I wish I was joking @BPerfect Ireland #help #sellout #flattyre #saveme ♬ original sound – Kasey Campion 'The Chroma Cover is going to cover my tyre puncture!' Kasey insisted, with her father hilariously adding: 'Also, it will cover your face and make you look really good — you probably look good anyway.' The father and daughter duo added that they needed to see '120 units' in order for Kasey to cover the cost of her tyre. Later sharing further details about what happened, Kasey admitted she hadn't been aware that she could drive the car 'for a bit' with a flat tyre, admitting she should've found somewhere safer. 'A lot of people are saying on my video, 'Why didn't you just change the tyre yourself?' First of all; I'm just a girl. Second of all, I'm on the M50 — there's not even a hard shoulder and third of all, I wouldn't have been able to change a tyre,' she said. 'If someone crashed into me I would've been a goner,' she added, 'Wasn't able to go to work. 'The bottom line is driving test is a load of rubbish because I did it five times and I didn't know what to do when my tyre burst on the M50.'

Irish infleuncer scammed out of €1,000 Dubai holiday
An Irish influencer has revealed how she was scammed out of €1,000 for a fake holiday to Dubai with one of her best pals. Kasey Campion revealed how she had been approached by a 'luxury independent travel agent' who wanted to work with her and offered her 30% off the booking fees. The 24-year-old recalled how the agent looked legit having worked with a number of well-known sports stars and other influencers. Pic: Brian McEvoy Having asked around and getting good feedback from fellow influencers, Kasey got on board with the travel agent, but noted how the messages 'got a bit weird' when the conversation moved to WhatsApp. 'He was asking me stuff like had I showered; was I home from work yet; am I in bed yet,' she recalled, 'Nothing like really weird or crazy but just stuff that a travel agent probably wouldn't say to you.' The travel agent began divulging personal information, with Kasey admitting looking back she was 'naïve' not to see the red flags. @kaseycampion20 Storytimes are back🫡 #dubai #scam #holiday #nightmare #storytime ♬ Chill and gentle lo-fi/10 minutes(1455687) – nightbird_bgm 'I know no ones going to have sympathy because no one has sympathy for influencers or people like us who get scammed but at the end of the day, we're still people, it's still money, it's still a holiday,' she said. After more back and forth there was talk about the travel agent cutting the costs by 50% in return for Kasey to create some promotional content. He later changed his mind due to wanting to 'focus on sports people and sports package.' @kaseycampion20 Part 2😐 #storytime #dubai #scam #help #travelagent ♬ original sound – Kasey Campion In February, Kasey was promised the flight and hotel details, which never came to fruition. Her friend rang the hotel they were supposed to be staying in and was told there was no booking. Following more back and forth, she eventually got a booking confirmation but the wrong dates were on the document. She then went in search of the flight information. The travel agent explained he usually deals with people last minute and was finding Kasey's messages stress-inducing. @kaseycampion20 Final part🙂🙂 rip Dubai thanks for listening🥲 follow to see where we end up tomorrow xx #scam #holiday #storytime #travel #dubai ♬ original sound – Kasey Campion With less than a week to go before the girls were set to head off, the travel agent cancelled the hotel and told Kasey to book it herself and he would reimburse her the money. In the final part of the three-part story time, Kasey revealed how her dad got involved and uncovered that the travel agent had scammed a number of people out of money. 'Yeah, world's biggest spoofer,' Kasey said, 'I'm meant to be on a flight to Dubai; I'm meant to be at the airport now, and I'm not. 'First world problem, don't expect any sympathy. I wasn't meant to go to Dubai,' she concluded.
