The Titans (17-7) took the lead for good in the bottom of the second when Matias Fischer singled, scoring two runs, to give the Titans a 3-1 advantage. True North added insurance by scoring two more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Starting pitcher William Foss, a junior, earned the win for True North, allowing only three hits and one run over 5 2/3 innings. He also walked three and struck out four. Pitcher Yancarlos Cordova tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to seal the victory.
