Chelsea Demand £100m for Jackson as Man United Plot Summer Move

Chelsea have set a valuation of £80 to £100 million on striker Nicolas Jackson, according to a report by Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol. Manchester United is among the clubs interested, along with others from Europe and Saudi Arabia. The Blues are in a strong position, mainly due to Jackson's eight-year contract, which still has a long time to run. Chelsea Remain Calm on Jackson's Future Despite Jackson's playing time being reduced during the Club World Cup, where Liam Delap and Joao Pedro outperformed him, Chelsea continue to support the 24-year-old Senegalese striker. According to Sky Sports, Chelsea believes Jackson's goal involvement over the past two Premier League seasons—34 total goals and assists—surpasses Hugo Ekitike's record in Germany of 29. Liverpool recently paid £79 million for Ekitike, and Chelsea is using that fee as a reference point, especially when negotiating with domestic rivals like Manchester United. United Monitoring Situation but Hesitant Over Price Manchester United have been watching Jackson for a while, and as they continue searching for attacking depth, he remains an option of interest. However, Chelsea's high asking price could be a challenge. Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam noted United's hesitation, saying, 'That's a lot of money.' With other, more affordable options available abroad, United's recruitment team may need to balance Jackson's Premier League record with the financial risk involved.
