All the sports events to sign up for in Dubai this summer
Lace up those trainers and get ready for a summer of sport in all shapes and sizes. The Dubai Sports Council has announced a series of events for the next few months, involving everything from mountains to malls. The 'Our Summer is Sporty' initiative will run until the end of August 2025, packed with all kinds of activities to keep you active. If you like this: 10 creative ways to enjoy Dubai summer indoors If you're ready to get your heart rate up, here's everything you can get involved in, from mall races to wakeboarding. Snow sports Credit: Kempinski Mall of the Emirates Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates will be keeping you cool while you work up a sweat, kicking off with the first ever Snow Duathlon on Sunday June 29. You can also keep an eye out for snow yoga sessions, snow walking, fitness classes and snow spinning sessions. The programme also features a women's snow hike, adaptive skiing activities for People of Determination, ice skating championships, a senior citizens' snow walk and a summer ski camp. Mountain sports If you want to get out of the city and into some nature, pack up the car and head over to Hatta for its range of summer sports. Including everything from mountain hiking to trail running, kayaking, yoga and night walks, there will even be indoor sports sessions in air-conditioned halls. Water sports Jumeirah beaches and the Waterfront will feature a series of water sports events, including kayaking, stand-up paddling and wakeboarding.
