Param Sundari, the Maddock Films production romantic drama film featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, is gearing up for a grand release on August 29. On Tuesday, the makers dropped the film's official teaser which received positive responses from the audience and critics alike, particularly for the lead pair's chemistry, vibrant visuals, a romantic storyline against the backdrop of Kerala and Janhavi's short yet impactful monologue.

In the sequence, Janhvi's character erupts and gives the North Indian men a lesson about South celebrities. 'Kerala-Malayalam, Mohanlal; Tamil Nadu-Tamil, Rajinikanth; Andhra-Telugu, Allu Arjun; Karnataka-Kannada, Yash! Tumhare liye har South Indian Madras? Bloody North Indians! Illiterate, arrogant, ignorant, entitled! Traitors!"

Param Sundari: Storyline
Helmed by Tushar Jalota, the film follows the story of a cross-cultural romance between a Punjabi boy, Param, and a South Indian girl, Sundari, as they navigate their different backgrounds and cultural nuances. The film explores their love story amid the backdrop of Kerala, highlighting the challenges and eventual acceptance of their relationship across geographical, linguistic and cultural boundaries.
Janhvi Kapoor's Work Front
Besides this, Janhvi also has a romantic drama film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan in her kitty. Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the film is slated to hit the big screens on October 2.
