One Mustn't Lose Faith', Says Punjab's Keshav Mittal Who Secured AIR 7 In NEET UG 2025
Last Updated: A native of Tapa Mandi town in Barnala district, Keshav said he always wanted to be a doctor and was inspired by his father, who is also a doctor. Keshav Mittal from Punjab has secured an All India Rank of 7 in the recently released National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG) 2025 exam. A native of Tapa Mandi town in Barnala district, Keshav said he always wanted to be a doctor and was inspired by his father, who is also a doctor. 'My father is also a doctor which aspired me to choose the medical field. Besides, I have always enjoyed studying chemistry and biology. Thus, medical was an obvious choice for me," said the 17-year-old. Not only did he managed to grab a spot in the top 10 in the medical entrance exam, Keshav has been a bright student in school as well. He studied class 10 from Mother Teacher School, Barnala where in he secured 97.6 per cent in the CBSE board exams and completed class 12 from D.M. Public School with an impressive 98 per cent. Talking about his preparation process for NEET 2025, Keshav said, 'I started my preparation process for NEET after class 10 exams. Right after my boards, when I chose my stream, I had in mind I have to crack the exam and started my deciding how to go about. I had a passion for Chemistry and Biology, and balanced school studies with NEET preparations at the same time. Along with notes, I also did self-study on a daily basis after school." He also took coaching classes from Allen. The youngster stated that his hard work has finally paid off and acknowledged the significant contributions of his family, teachers, and friends. His father, who inspired him to take up medical, is himself a doctor. 'One must have faith in himself. It is easy to lose faith and confidence during the preparation journey. But one must keep confidence and with the help and guidance of teachers and parents, they will be able to crack the exam," he told News18. Kota institutes shine again
Jaipur: Kota has once again reaffirmed its reputation as India's coaching capital, with its premier institutes delivering exceptional results in NEET-UG 2025, the country's most competitive medical entrance examination. The result was announced on Saturday. Allen Career Institute claimed to have 39 students securing ranks in the Top 100, including four students in the Top 10. Mrinal Jha (AIR 4), Keshav Mittal (AIR 7), Bhavya Chirag Jha (AIR 8) and Aarav Agarwal (AIR 10, from the distance program) were among the top achievers. Aashi Singh secured AIR 12, ranking 2nd among girls nationwide. A total of 19 students from Allen featured in the Top 50, and 30 out of the Top 100 are from its classroom program. Allen CEO Nitin Kukreja stated, "We believe in delivering quality and results with transparency. Our results are not just about numbers but about excellence, and we ensure authenticity by getting them audited by EY India." Joining the celebration of Kota's dominance, Motion Education also posted remarkable results. The institute saw seven of its students break into the Top 100, and 18 rank within the Top 500. Due to server delays from the NTA, Motion's full results are still being compiled. However, as of Saturday, Keshav Mittal (AIR 7), MD Yusuf (AIR 18), Darshan Mule (AIR 19), Prateek Singh (AIR 50), Raghav Goyal (AIR 62), Anushka Shukrawal (AIR 72), and Jatin Kumar (AIR 85) were among the top performers from Motion. "These results reflect Motion's consistent focus on concept clarity, discipline, and mentoring," said Founder & CEO of Motion Nitin Vijay.
