‘Power squad': Ivanka Trump, Gisele Bündchen and Karlie Kloss pictured in Costa Rica
Ivanka Trump has been photographed with supermodel sister-in-law Karlie Kloss and fellow supermodel Gisele Bündchen enjoying an Easter vacation in Costa Rica. Pictures of the trio on a beach in the Central American country, taken over the weekend, showed them dressed in swimsuits and surrounded by their families. An insider told The Daily Mail that Kloss 'is keen to collaborate with Gisele and Ivanka on philanthropic endeavours'. 'She would love the idea of them forming a new 'power squad'.' The First Daughter and mother-of-three gushed about the holiday in a post on Instagram during the week, writing that 'time slowed' during her time away. 'We surfed under golden skies, zipped through the jungle canopy, leapt into cool waterfalls, read until the sun dipped low, and surrendered to stillness and deep sleep,' Trump wrote. 'But more than adventure, this week was about reconnecting – with the Earth, with faith, and with one another. Logging off and tuning in. Grounding in nature's rhythm. Feeling the sacred in silence, in the laughter of my children, in the breach of the trees. 'My heart is full of gratitude for these moments of togetherness and renewal.' Trump has largely avoided the political spotlight since the end of her father Donald Trump's first administration, during which she served as a senior adviser and one of his greatest confidantes. 'I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable,' she told the Skinny Confidential podcast in January. 'The main reason I'm not going back to serve now is because I know the cost … I also recognise now there are so many ways to have impact. Most of the compassion work happening in the world is being done outside of government.' Part of that post-White House life has included spending time with the likes of Bündchen, who recently welcomed her third child and first with boyfriend, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Bündchen – once the highest-paid models in the world – also shares a son and daughter with her ex-husband Tom Brady. Kloss is married to Trump's husband Jared Kushner's younger brother, Joshua. The supermodel announced in March that the couple, who share sons Levi and Elijah, were expecting their third child. 'Family is everything to me,' she told Vogue. 'Josh and I are incredibly grateful for this blessing.' There's long been speculation of a feud between the 32-year-old and her sister-in-law, given Kloss's vocal opposition to Mr Trump, having voted against him in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. Neither Trump nor Kushner were present at Kloss and Joshua's wedding in 2018, with a White House spokesperson refusing to comment at the time why they'd skipped the nuptials. Representatives for both women have repeatedly insisted they have a 'good relationship'. Speaking to fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg on her InCharge with DVF program in 2020, Kloss said: 'I really followed my heart on choosing to be with the person that I love, despite any complications that came with it.' 'You know, I knew for me, it was worth it to fight for that,' she continued. 'I think that in my career too, you know, being true to my heart or being true to myself, when I know that something is not aligned with who I am, and the message I want to send to the world, or the kind of person that I want to be, maybe that comes back to character. 'But like, my heart often is telling me exactly what I need to hear. And I didn't always listen to it.'

New bestie alert in the 305? Neighbors Ivanka Trump, Gisele Bundchen and Karlie Kloss were seen on vacation together in Costa Rica earlier this week, the Daily Mail first reported. Paparazzi snapped blurry pics of the former first daughter and supermodels on the beach having a grand old time with their families. Beside geography, the photogenic group has other things in common. 'Both Karlie and Gisele are with IMG Models and have the same manager,' an insider told the outlet of the onetime Victoria's Secret Angels. 'Gisele has long been a huge inspiration to Karlie, who idolizes her, having followed in her footsteps for years in expanding her brand beyond just the modeling industry.' Trump, married to Jared Kushner, and Kloss, to his younger brother Joshua, are sisters-in-law. The high profile yet under the radar couples live close to one another. Kloss and Kushner bought a mansion on North Bay Road around the same time Trump and her Kushner snapped up property in Indian Creek Village, aka Billionaire Bunker. Coincidentally, Bundchen's ex, Tom Brady, resides solo in the bunker now, after finalizing his divorce with the Brazilian catwalker, who bought a place in nearby Surfside. The NFL legend was nowhere to be seen on this getaway; Bundchen was with her current flame, jiu jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, the father of her newborn son. Miami really is a six degrees of separation kind of town, especially among the elite. Trump and her kids also train with Valente and his brothers Pedro and Gui, who have a studio in North Miami Beach. Back in March, the Brazilian siblings shared an Instagram video of the onetime White House advisor, reportedly a blue belt, busting some serious self-defense moves on the mat. 'Jiu-jitsu is more than a martial art. Rooted in ancient tradition and refined over generations, it offers a path to physical confidence, mental clarity, and emotional balance,' said the caption. 'What makes this journey even more meaningful is sharing it with those we respect and value. As families, training together gives us the rare gift of growing side by side, on the mat and in life.' As for Kloss taking classes? That remains to be seen, as the 32-year-old is currently pregnant with her third child, she announced last month. It's unclear where everyone stayed, but Bundchen maintains a sprawling home in the small town of Santa Teresa, on the Pacific Coast, about 3,500 miles from Miami. Fans may recall she and Brady held their second wedding ceremony there in April 2009, and the 44-year-old travels there often. Sounds like everyone had a fantastic time, especially Trump. The 43-year-old New Yorker posted some stunning snaps from what appears to be not only a super relaxing but spiritual Spring Break/Passover trip. 'Time slowed. Kloss, 32, who announced she was expecting her third child last month, stepped out with husband Joshua Kushner, 39, and their two young sons along with sister-in-law Ivanka Trump, 43, and the children she shares with Jared Kushner, 44. Former Victoria's Secret Angels Kloss and Bundchen, 44, who welcomed her third child and first with boyfriend Joaquim, Valente in February, looked in great spirits as they caught up on the sand. Kloss sported a chic black bikini top and wrap around her growing stomach, completing the ensemble with a straw hat. Gisele showed off her enviable post baby body in a bikini and shorts as she enthusiastically greeted Ivanka, who wore a blue bikini top and floral shorts. Kloss was once thought to have a frosty relationship with her sister-in-law – driven in part by Kloss's deeply-held dislike for Donald Trump - but the warm display on the beach shows they are closer than ever. The family double date also saw Gisele's eldest son with ex Tom Brady, Benjamin, 15, share a warm hug with Ivanka in sweet snaps. Hold on to your sun hats, there's a new girl gang 'power squad' in town. Pictures obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail reveal a taut and tanned Ivanka Trump, 43, laughing and joking with two new BFFs: supermodels Gisele Bündchen and Karlie Kloss. The three women have never been pictured all together before, but these new photos seem to reveal a close friendship, as they walked and played on the beach with their families in Costa Rica on Easter Sunday. Kloss, 32, is married to Josh Kushner, brother of Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband, was once thought to have a frosty relationship with her sister-in-law – driven in part by Kloss's deeply-held dislike for Donald Trump. But in recent months, the sisterly pair has been seen happily socializing - and the thaw has apparently softened Kloss's long-time friend Bündchen, 44, who has also been outspoken about her politics. Now sources tell the Daily Mail that much to the shock of those close to them, the three women have overcome their differences to forge a strong bond. 'The three of them have formed a girl squad and it surprised quite a few people,' a source close to Ivanka told the Daily Mail. 'Both Karlie and Gisele - who have been friends for years - have revealed that they are not Trump supporters.' 'Karlie has been very vocal about her political beliefs. Gisele revealed to her fans on social media that she does not support Trump,' they added. In 2020, Kloss told Bravo host Andy Cohen, 'I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020', meanwhile Bündchen once replied to a fan's comment on Instagram asking if she was supporting Trump in 2016 with a simple but firm 'NO!' All that now seems long forgotten, as Ivanka, in a blue bikini and white floral wrap skirt, strolled and chatted with Bündchen, before they were joined by Kloss. Their young children played in the background. Indeed, this new girl gang was a long time coming, given how much the three women have in common and how long they have known each other. 'Both Karlie and Gisele are with IMG Models and have the same manager,' source close to Kloss said. 'Gisele has long been a huge inspiration to Karlie, who idolizes her, having followed in her footsteps for years in expanding her brand beyond just the modelling industry.' As for Ivanka and Bündchen, they lived nearby for years and now both attend the same Jiu Jitsu school in Miami, Valente Brothers Self-Defence, run by Joaquim Valente, 37, who is Gisele's boyfriend and the father of their one-year-old child, River. 'Gisele and Ivanka have known each other for years, back when Tom Brady used to play golf with Donald Trump. They're neighbours and both live in Miami's Indian Creek Island,' a source close to Kloss told the Daily Mail, referring to the ultra-exclusive Miami village known as 'Billionaire Bunker'. 'Gisele and Tom lived together in that neighbourhood for years. Then when they divorced, she bought a smaller place in the same area. 'Now of course Ivanka is a student at Valente Brothers self-defence in Miami,' they added. Ivanka shared pictures of herself training at the self-defence center last month, showing her progress as she trained with Gui Valente, 44, who is one of Joaquim's brothers. Sources tell the Daily Mail it's not only Ivanka who is enjoying having new friends and re-booting her social life. Kloss is reportedly thrilled with the new gang, after her friendship with her former best friend Taylor Swift mysteriously soured in 2017. 'Karlie is keen to collaborate with Gisele and Ivanka on philanthropic endeavours - she would love the idea of them forming a new 'power squad' as she hugely looks up to Gisele,' they said. 'Karlie was once a big part of Taylor Swift's famous friendship group and has really missed that camaraderie,' they added. A source close to Ivanka tells the Daily Mail that their friendships truly blossomed after Ivanka distanced herself from her father's campaign, and politics, in 2022. 'Ivanka's views have changed and after she revealed she hates politics. Since then, her and Karlie have gotten very close and Karlie and Gisele have been close for over a decade,' they added. 'They formed a trio and love spending time with each other.' From 2016 to 2020 Ivanka was a senior adviser during her father's first term, giving up her life as a socialite and fashion designer, and moving her young family from New York City to Washington DC. But when Trump announced he was running again in 2022, Ivanka took a step back. 'I love my father very much,' she said in a statement at the time, 'I am choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.' She made her stance even clearer in a recent podcast interview, saying: 'I hate politics. It's very dark, negative. And some people love like the gladiator aspect of it: the fight. That was never me.' Many speculated that Ivanka disliked how her prominent political persona had impacted her previously booming social life, as several of her celebrity friends - including Kloss - distanced themselves from her. In a 2019 interview with Vogue, Kloss acknowledged there was a rift between them, saying it was 'hard' having Ivanka as sister-in-law. 'Karlie and Ivanka did not see eye to eye for some time when Ivanka was working for her father's administration,' a source close to Ivanka told the Daily Mail on Wednesday. If these new photos are anything to go by, those concerns are in the distant past.
