‘Power squad': Ivanka Trump, Gisele Bündchen and Karlie Kloss pictured in Costa Rica
Ivanka Trump has been photographed with supermodel sister-in-law Karlie Kloss and fellow supermodel Gisele Bündchen enjoying an Easter vacation in Costa Rica.
Pictures of the trio on a beach in the Central American country, taken over the weekend, showed them dressed in swimsuits and surrounded by their families.
An insider told The Daily Mail that Kloss 'is keen to collaborate with Gisele and Ivanka on philanthropic endeavours'.
'She would love the idea of them forming a new 'power squad'.'
The First Daughter and mother-of-three gushed about the holiday in a post on Instagram during the week, writing that 'time slowed' during her time away.
'We surfed under golden skies, zipped through the jungle canopy, leapt into cool waterfalls, read until the sun dipped low, and surrendered to stillness and deep sleep,' Trump wrote.
'But more than adventure, this week was about reconnecting – with the Earth, with faith, and with one another. Logging off and tuning in. Grounding in nature's rhythm. Feeling the sacred in silence, in the laughter of my children, in the breach of the trees.
'My heart is full of gratitude for these moments of togetherness and renewal.'
Trump has largely avoided the political spotlight since the end of her father Donald Trump's first administration, during which she served as a senior adviser and one of his greatest confidantes.
'I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable,' she told the Skinny Confidential podcast in January.
'The main reason I'm not going back to serve now is because I know the cost … I also recognise now there are so many ways to have impact. Most of the compassion work happening in the world is being done outside of government.'
Part of that post-White House life has included spending time with the likes of Bündchen, who recently welcomed her third child and first with boyfriend, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
Bündchen – once the highest-paid models in the world – also shares a son and daughter with her ex-husband Tom Brady.
Kloss is married to Trump's husband Jared Kushner's younger brother, Joshua. The supermodel announced in March that the couple, who share sons Levi and Elijah, were expecting their third child.
'Family is everything to me,' she told Vogue. 'Josh and I are incredibly grateful for this blessing.'
There's long been speculation of a feud between the 32-year-old and her sister-in-law, given Kloss's vocal opposition to Mr Trump, having voted against him in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.
Neither Trump nor Kushner were present at Kloss and Joshua's wedding in 2018, with a White House spokesperson refusing to comment at the time why they'd skipped the nuptials.
Representatives for both women have repeatedly insisted they have a 'good relationship'.
Speaking to fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg on her InCharge with DVF program in 2020, Kloss said: 'I really followed my heart on choosing to be with the person that I love, despite any complications that came with it.'
'You know, I knew for me, it was worth it to fight for that,' she continued.
'I think that in my career too, you know, being true to my heart or being true to myself, when I know that something is not aligned with who I am, and the message I want to send to the world, or the kind of person that I want to be, maybe that comes back to character.
'But like, my heart often is telling me exactly what I need to hear. And I didn't always listen to it.'

‘The VIP lane with extra bells on': Prince Harry and Meghan Markle given royal treatment during family trip to Disneyland
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly given the full 'VIP' treatment during a recent family trip to Disneyland to mark Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday. On Friday, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, uploaded a new Instagram post that included special moments from the family's two day visit to the original Disneyland park in Anaheim. In the clip, the Sussex family were seen riding Splash Mountain and visiting Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Star Tours – the Adventures Continue and other iconic rides. Lilibet, who is currently seventh in line to the British throne, was also gifted an extravagant Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake. Markle, who has now been out of the royal family for twice as long as she was inside the firm, obligingly thanked Disney publicly for 'giving' the Sussexes 'pure joy'. 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy,' she wrote. According to royal commentator Rupert Bell, the Sussexes were in "the VIP lane with extra bells on" during the visit. 'There didn't seem to any other members of the public while they were there,' he told TalkTV on Sunday. 'They definitely were walking around with a photographer.' The passes presumably allowed the Sussexes to skip to the front of queues for popular rides and utilise underground tunnels to discreetly move through the crowded theme park. The Sussexes have maintained a friendly relationship with Disney ever since Harry was infamously heard on a hot mic asking Disney CEO Bob Iger about a voiceover role for his wife at the Lion King premiere back in 2019. Months later, Markle narrated a Disney+ documentary titled Elephant, but later clarified she took no payment for the role and did the gig for charity. The extravagant trip on Disney's dime comes just months after reports Prince William was concerned about Markle's flagrant use of her HRH title despite agreeing not to mix the title with her commercial ventures. Since leaving royal duties, the Sussexes have banked over $100 million USD through partnership deals with Netflix, Spotify and the proceeds of Harry's memoir Spare.

Doechii speaks out on LA protests at Black awards
Grammy winner Doechii has called out the Trump Administration's immigration raids and protest crackdowns in Los Angeles, at an awards night for Black entertainers. After being named best female hip-hop artist at the BET Awards, Doechii acknowledged her fellow nominees, then shifted the spotlight to the issues unfolding outside the venue. "There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order," said Doechii, who won a Grammy for best rap album, only the third woman to win in that category. "Trump is using military forces to stop a protest," she said. "I want you all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us. What type of government is that?" Doechii's words drew applause from the audience at LA's Peacock Theatre, where the awards were held. "People are being swept up and torn from their families," she continued. "I feel like it's my responsibility as an artist to use this moment to speak up for all oppressed people. … We all deserve to live in hope and not fear. I hope we stand together." Kendrick Lamar is leading the pack at the BET (Black Entertainment Television) Awards with 10 nominations, including album of the year for his critically acclaimed project "GNX." His ubiquitous diss track "Not Like Us," emanating from his feud with Canadian rapper Drake, received nominations for video of the year and viewer's choice award. Doechii, Drake, Future and GloRilla tied for the second-most nominations with six. Metro Boomin pulled in five nods, while SZA and The Weeknd each scored four. For best actor, the category includes: Aaron Pierre, Aldis Hodge, Anthony Mackie, Colman Domingo, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Joey Bada$$, Kevin Hart, Sterling K Brown and Will Smith. For best actress, the nominees include: Andra Day, Angela Bassett, Coco Jones, Cynthia Erivo, Keke Palmer, Kerry Washington, Quinta Brunson, Viola Davis and Zendaya. Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Simone Biles, Angel Reese and Jalen Hurts are among the sports stars competing for awards.
