5 Things To Keep In Your House To Attract Prosperity And Wealth As Per Vastu And Vedic Astrology

Vastu Shastra, often called the yogic science of architecture, combines spatial placement with astrological alignment to invite prosperity In Vedic traditions, the flow of energy in your home directly influences your finances, health, and overall harmony. Vastu Shastra, often called the yogic science of architecture, combines spatial placement with astrological alignment to invite prosperity. By keeping certain items in the right place, you can align your living space with the vibrations of abundance. Prashant Kapoor, Celebrity Astrologer and Founder of AstroKapoor, shares five powerful things to keep in your home to attract wealth and positive energy: 1. Kuber Idol or Yantra in the North Lord Kuber is the treasurer of the gods and a symbol of wealth. Placing a Kuber idol or Kuber Yantra in the North, the direction ruled by Kuber energizes the flow of money and supports wealth accumulation. 2. Flowing Water Feature in the Northeast A small fountain or water bowl in the Northeast corner attracts opportunities and keeps financial energy circulating. Ensure the water is clean and flowing, as stagnant water can block growth. 3. Tulsi Plant in the East The holy Tulsi plant not only purifies the air but is also considered a giver of prosperity when placed in the East or Northeast. In astrology, Tulsi strengthens Jupiter's blessings, bringing wisdom and abundance. 4. Citrine or Pyrite Crystals in the Cash Box According to both astrology and Vastu, citrine and pyrite are 'merchant's stones" that enhance wealth luck. Keep them in your cash box, safe, or business ledger to magnetize money. 5. Grain Jar Filled with Whole Wheat in the Kitchen A jar filled with whole grains in the kitchen symbolizes food security and financial stability. As per Vedic belief, it invokes Goddess Annapurna's blessings and ensures abundance in the household. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. How to Place 7 Horses in Your Home for Prosperity

Seven running horses aren't just a Vastu-approved power move—they're a powerful, sprinting metaphor for speed, success, and unstoppable growth. When positioned correctly, they don't just gallop into a room; they actively bring in wealth, fame, and strong forward momentum. But... like all things ancient and aesthetically pleasing, placement is absolutely everything. Otherwise, you might just end up with a decorative stampede instead of a boost in fortune. Here's how to ensure you get the placement right, without accidentally summoning chaos instead of consistent cash flow: 1. Direction is Key: Face East or North For these horses, their running direction truly matters. Having them face towards the East or North symbolizes rising energy and an acceleration in your career. East is associated with the Sun and growth, while the North is ruled by Kuber, the revered God of wealth. So, horses facing these directions? That's like sending a clear message to the Universe: "Dear Universe, please accelerate this hustle!" Avoid: Placing horses so they face South. That energy suggests more "running away from wealth" rather than "charging directly into abundance." 2. All Horses Must Be Running, Together When choosing your artwork or statue, make sure all seven horses are running in perfect unison—you don't want any scattered, sleepy, or lagging ones. The overall vibe should clearly scream "Teamwork makes the dream work," not "Oops, one guy didn't get the memo!" Bonus Tip: If the artwork includes a rising sun in the background, that's even better. Consider it like cosmic Red Bull for your prosperity. 3. Avoid Water or Sad Colors Steer clear of any blue, grey, or black tones in the artwork or background. Incorporating water elements with the horses can actually interfere with their energetic momentum. And definitely avoid any gloomy or depressing backgrounds. Remember, this isn't a scene from The Revenant —you're going for The Wolf of Wall Street kind of energetic vibe. 4. Material Matters: Wood or Canvas Over Metal Opt for sculptures made of wood or paintings on canvas for your seven horses. These materials tend to create a warm, stable, and welcoming energy in your space. Metal can sometimes feel too cold or aggressive, unless the aesthetic is exceptionally soft and carefully done. Choose textures that feel nurturing but also dynamic. 5. Keep It at Eye Level Make sure to hang or place the seven horses where they can be easily seen at eye level—neither too close to the floor nor too high, like above doorframes. If the artwork is treated like mere background noise, its powerful energy might just do the same—fading into wallpaper status rather than actively contributing to your prosperity. Akshaya Tritiya: Why do people buy gold on this day?

Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day which is celebrated each year by buying gold jewellery, silver, properties and vehicles. On this day, people worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber to seek their blessings. Buying gold jewellery is particularly seen as a symbol of wealth and stability. According to Drik Panchang, the timings to observe this occasion will be from 5.41 am to 12.18 pm. During this, the best times to purchase gold will be from 5.31 pm to 2.12 pm when the tritiya tithi ends. Since the word Akshaya means something that can never be destroyed, people buy gold, silver and other precious metals on this day as they believe that their value will never reduce. Some people also buy properties, new vehicles or start new businesses on this auspicious day. The popular belief states that during this time, the cosmic energies of the universe align to attract positive results in any new venture. Thus, any new investments or purchases are likely to give positive results. Meanwhile, another legend suggests that once Lord Krishna visited Pandavas during their exile, but since Draupadi had not prepared a feast for him, she asked for forgiveness. In response, Lord Krishna picked a single strand of herb, pardoning her and giving her the Akshaya Patra, a magical bowl that never runs out of food. Other than buying gold, people also visit temples and take part in spiritual activities. Some people also donate food, clothes to the poor in order to gain good karma on this day. It is also advised in Hindu practices to abstain from consuming non-vegetarian food and stick to a satvik diet.
