Dismantling a spying device and removing two earthen barriers of the israeli enemy in the outskirts of Bleedah and Mays Al Jabal
Tuesday, 27 May 2025 The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: In the context of continuing engineering surveys in the southern regions, a specialized military unit discovered a spying device belonging to the Israeli enemy, camouflaged and equipped with a camera, on the outskirts of Bleedah - Marjeyoun, and worked to dismantle it. The unit also removed two earthen barriers that had been erected in Bleedah and Mays Al Jabal-Marjeyoun by the enemy. The LAF command is monitoring the situation in the south in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), amid ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanon's sovereignty and security, and attacks on Lebanese citizens, particularly in the southern region.

Raids in Jabal Mohsen and Al Mankoubin – Tripoli and Dalk – Al Hermel, resulting in the injury of one citizen
Tuesday, 27 May 2025 The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: A LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residence of a wanted individual in Jabal Mohsen – Tripoli. During the operation, a citizen (A.S.) sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment as a result of the raid, weapons and military ammunition were seized. Another LAF unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in Al Mankoubin – Tripoli, and arrested citizen (M.M.) for being wanted for the crime of transporting military weapons, with a quantity of such weapons found in his possession. Additionally, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided a farm in Dalk – Hermel, near the Lebanese-Syrian border, and seized a quantity of Captagon pills. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestee began under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

Raid Operations and Arrest of 111 Individuals and Seizure of Weapons and Ammunition
Sunday, 25 May 2025 The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: As part of the security measures implemented by the military institution across various regions, LAF units, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals, resulting in the arrest of 55 people as follows: Raids on the residences of wanted individuals in Qasrnaba, Nahle, Brital, Hourtala, Al Khodr, Younin, Dar Al Wasiaa – Baalbek, Al Marj – West Bekaa, Bar Elias, Kfar Zabad, Al Faida, Mekseh, Qab Elias – Zahle, Kfar Kila – Marjeyoun, Al Kafaat, and Al Sfeir – Baabda, leading to the arrest of 50 citizens who were wanted for shooting. A quantity of weapons, ammunition, and equipment were seized from them. Raids on the residences of wanted individuals in Al Dora – Hermel led to the arrest of citizens (M.R.), (Z.R.), (H.R.), (S.R.), and (Kh.R.) for being wanted for involvement in smuggling and gunfire offenses. A quantity of weapons and ammunition was also seized from them. Additionally, other LAF units arrested 56 individuals as follows: Arrest of 51 Syrians at the Shadra checkpoint – Akkar for being in Lebanon without legal documents. Arrest of citizen (M.R.) at the Madfoun checkpoint – Batroun for possessing weapons and military ammunition. Arrest of citizen (A.M.) at the Wata Al Sahla checkpoint – Akkar for possessing a quantity of captagon pills. Arrest of citizens (A.H.), (A.A.), and (A.M.) in the town of Douris – Baalbek and the Wadi Darya area – Zgharta for being wanted for gunfire offenses. The seized items have been handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the relevant judiciary's supervision.

The LAF has received one of the key perpetrators involved in the kidnapping and murder of citizen Pascal Sleiman
Saturday, 24 May 2025 The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: After a series of communications conducted by the Cooperation and Coordination Office in the LAF with the Syrian authorities, the office received the citizen (A.N.), who is one of the key perpetrators involved in the kidnapping and murder of citizen Pascal Sleiman on April 7, 2024. The arrested individual was handed over to the Military Intelligence Directorate, which is concurrently following up on the security aspects of the crime. The arrestee leads a gang involved in kidnapping, theft, and forgery, and there are numerous arrest warrants against him. An investigation has commenced under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

Arrests and Seizure of Weapons, Ammunition, and Drugs
Tuesday, 20 May 2025 The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: As part of the security measures implemented by the military institution in various areas, a unit from the army, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, conducted a raid in Zahriyeh - Tripoli. They arrested two citizens, (M.Z.) and ( and seized weapons, military ammunition, and military equipment in their possession. Additionally, another army unit, assisted by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Tabbaneh - Tripoli, Kherbet Dawood - Akkar, Minyeh – Minyeh - Dinniyeh, and Bebnine – Al Abdeh. They arrested six citizens who were wanted for shooting and seized weapons and military ammunition in their possession.
