The Glasgow City No2 and BBC pundit, who completed her Uefa Pro Licence this summer, is understood to have been the standout candidate in Gers' recruitment process, despite never being a boss in her own right before. Hibs' triumph this season at Ibrox on the last day meant that Glasgow City finished in the runners-up spot and so claimed the second European spot. In both of Potters' seasons as the helm at Ibrox, she delivered a cup double. Her move to Scotland came after she brought an end to a playing career that spanned two decades.
