RONNIE O'SULLIVAN has launched an appeal for his missing dog. The snooker star took to social media to announce his Boston Terrier is missing. 3 3 3 He has asked for help in searching for his pet dog Stanley. O'Sullivan shared a photo of the missing pup along with contact details. He also called on residents of Woodford, where he lives, and the surrounding areas to keep a lookout for Stanley. O'Sullivan and wife Laila Rouass love their dogs and got a new one earlier this year, which the seven-time world champion said "restored my faith in life". He said: "We had a dog, now we have got dogs. Just added it. "They are the best thing. They have restored my faith in life. They give you so much love. "I just like spending all day at home with him. I'd rather spend all day with him rather than any other person on the planet. "He wags his tail, is happy to see you. He's the best." O'Sullivan and Rouass even reunited with a dog walk after one of their many splits. The Rocket has previously said he would put his dogs first ahead of playing in a tournament. He said: "If I had to pull out of any tournament to make sure he's all right, I would. "It changed me a lot. He is just an amazing little thing."

Shanghai Masters snooker 2025 LIVE RESULTS: Ronnie O'Sullivan on NOW against Kyren Wilson after Judd Trump OUT
Rocket gets off to flying start Ronnie O'Sullivan kick-started his 34th season as a professional snooker player – and first as a married man – with a thrilling final-frame success. The Rocket is still enjoying the martial bliss of getting hitched to long-term partner, actress Laila Rouass, last month in East London. And over in the Far East, he came through a 11th-frame decider with Barry Hawkins to prevail 6-5 in the last 16 of the lucrative Shanghai Masters. The 49-year-old claimed it was the best he had played since lifting his seventh Crucible crown three years ago in Sheffield. The sport's greatest player, who is using a new cue after snapping his favourite one in January, came from 3-2 down to lead 5-3. But Kent cueist Hawkins, 46, took it to the distance thanks to a 106 break – his 501st career century. No6 seed O'Sullivan – who now plays Kyren Wilson in the quarter-finals – hit breaks of 94, 94, 90 and 89 but was unable to get over the line for his first century of the new term. There was one moment in frame six where he banged the table twice with his fist in anger. But it was short-lived pain as he progressed a step closer to the £210,000 winner's jackpot, gaining revenge for his elimination to the Hawk at the UK Championship last November in York.

‘Very ill-timed' – Championship League snooker match awkwardly interrupted by ICE CREAM VAN
THIS is the awkward moment a Champions League snooker match was interrupted by an ice cream van. The hilarious incident occurred during Stephen Maguire's battle against James Cahil l at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester. 1 The two men put on a brave snooker battle in the heat. But it was Maguire who came out on top in a 3-1 victory. Despite his brilliant display, the ace was left flustered at one point. He was looking to hit his second century of the match when he was rudely interrupted by a noise. Maguire was looking to pot a red having already racked up a break of 64. But as he prepared to take the shot, the distinctive sound of an ice cream van could be heard blaring in the background. The noise appeared to throw off Maguire, who took his shot but missed the target. The strange moment even caught a chuckle from commentator Phil Yates. He said live on air: 'A very ill-times ice cream van outside. Not that it matters. 'Maguire will take a lot of confidence from that, because he played nicely to get over the line.' Ronnie O'Sullivan marries Footballers' Wives star Laila Rouass just 10 months after split One fan reacted with a brilliant comment. They said: 'If only he were on a break of 99!' Maguire enjoyed further success on the opening day of the Champions League as he beat both Liam Graham and Michael Holt 3-0 to finish top of their group. A massive 32 groups of players are competing for the top prize of £33,000. The winner will also book a place at the Champion of Champions event in November. And the final will take place on July 23.

Ronnie O'Sullivan ‘hasn't given up on Hong Kong', immigration chief says
Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan, who obtained Hong Kong residency last year through a talent scheme, 'has not given up' on the city, the immigration chief has said, despite the newlywed seven-time world champion recently revealing plans to move to the Middle East. Asked about O'Sullivan's intentions after he confirmed two days ago that he had married actress Laila Rouass, Director of Immigration Benson Kwok Joon-fung said on Sunday that he had been in touch with him and had stressed that Hong Kong's door was still open to him. 'As far as I understand, a lot has been happening for him in the past few months, and it's hard to say if his immigration plans will change,' Kwok said. 'However, he also hasn't given up on Hong Kong. From what I know, he is expected to come to Hong Kong next month to attend the opening ceremony of his snooker club here. 'He really likes Hong Kong, so if there are things here that can entice him to stay, he might just choose Hong Kong as his place of residence.' Immigration chief Benson Kwok says he has been in touch with Ronnie O'Sullivan. Photo: Handout British media reported the 49-year-old snooker star was selling his £2 million house in Essex and planned to head off to the United Arab Emirates with his new wife.
