Where was ‘Happy Gilmore 2' filmed? All locations from Netflix's Adam Sandler sequel
'Happy Gilmore 2' stars Adam Sandler as the eponymous character in the Netflix sequel to the 1996 hit. Sandler is back as golfer Happy Gilmore, who returns to the game after his retirement following the first Tour Championship win. However, this time, Gilmore is looking to finance his daughter's ballet classes. 'Happy Gilmore', the first movie, was filmed entirely in Canada's British Columbia. However, the sequel makes its way to the US.(X/@netflix) With Sandler doling out bits of Gilmore that audiences loved the first time around, and cameos from the likes of Eminem and Bad Bunny, 'Happy Gilmore 2' already has viewers hooked, as the title character story takes us on a trip across burger shops, delis, and country clubs. Wondering where 'Happy Gilmore 2' was filmed? Here's the details. 'Happy Gilmore 2' filming locations 'Happy Gilmore', the first movie, was filmed entirely in Canada's British Columbia. However, the sequel makes its way to the US, with filming having taken place in New Jersey. Shooting took place in September 2024, and to make things easier, Sandler and his family moved there last fall. Here are the golf clubs that appear in the film. Montclair Golf Club, New Jersey Montclair Golf Club in Verona, New Jersey, is one of the oldest golf clubs in the US and plays an important role in the sequel. The private club stretches across a 36-hole course and goes all the way back to 1893. Pleasantdale Château, New Jersey Located in West Orange, New Jersey, this reportedly came up during the teaser, and it is where Happy is honored with golfing legends like Tiger Woods. The estate was bought by New York industrialist Charles Walter Nichols in 1912, but has since been transformed to host weddings, corporate retreats, and has appeared in films and shows as well. Most notably, it was seen in 'The Sopranos', 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit', and 'Cadillac Records' – the musical drama with Adrian Brody and Beyonce. Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, New Jersey Happy is seen on several golf courses, including this one in New Jersey. Reportedly, the golf course was shut for a couple of months for filming. Ideal Beach, New Jersey When Happy trades in the golf courses for the grainy sand of the beach, Ideal Beach in New Jersey serves as a good spot for his practice. This beach is pet friendly to top things off! Verona Town Hall, New Jersey Verona Town Hall posted BTS shots with Adam Sandler and posted an Instagram message 'Come Back Anytime' after the movie filming took place there. Kearny, New Jersey The New Jersey town, which is a suburb of Newark, saw 'Happy Gilmore 2' being filmed there in part. Kearny, has in the past, appeared in movies and shows like the original 'Annie', the 2022 psychological horror 'Smile' and was seen in 'The Sopranos' as well. Closter, New Jersey Part of the filming took place in Closter as well, which has previously seen Nicolas Cage's 'The Family Man' and the altercation between Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill's characters in 'Wolf of Wall Street' filmed there. Other locations Other spots shown in the movie include Steve's Burgers on Route 46, Kim's Nails in Maplewood, Goldberg's World Famous Deli & Bagels in Millburn, and Lokl Café in Morristown. A scene was also filmed at the Newark Liberty International Airport. The movie is available for streaming on Netflix as of July 25.

Where was ‘Happy Gilmore 2' filmed: All the New Jersey locations from Netflix's Adam Sandler Reboot
It has been 29 years since Adam Sandler had a spit-spewing, high-decibel outburst at a golfer or two, or even a toy clown. But now 'the Sandman' is back as Happy Gilmore in an unexpected Netflix sequel to his 1996 hit. Sporting a scruffy beard and now with a family of his own, Happy is all grown up – until he isn't, as he steps out of retirement and returns to the golf turf. There are unexpected new additions to the ensemble, like Bad Bunny and Eminem, as Happy Gilmore 2 takes us on a trip across burger shops, delis, and, of course, country clubs. But don't expect any uptight gentlemanly play here as Sandler's brash man-child returns to the game in oversized jerseys, a hockey stick putter, and a vocabulary coarser than a sand trap full of sailors. Where was Happy Gilmore 2 filmed? While the first Happy Gilmore was shot entirely in British Columbia in Canada, the sequel makes its way to the United States. Most of the principal photography took place in New Jersey in September 2024. To make filming easier, Sandler and his family even moved to New Jersey last fall. The state boasts enough green pastures for the film's ragtag bunch of golfers to wreak havoc at. Montclair Golf Club, New Jersey One of the oldest American golf courses, the Montclair Golf Club in Verona, New Jersey, plays a pivotal role in Happy Gilmore 2 's championship sequences. Going back all the way to 1893, the private club stretches across a 36-hole course and adds some serious professionalism to the film despite its goofy subversion of the game's rules. Choosing a top-notch golf course like Montclair makes sense given how the Netflix sequel's ensemble cast also features cameos from real-life golfers like Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa and even Lee Trevino, the seasoned veteran of the sport who also played himself in the first film. Pleasantdale Château, New Jersey The first-ever teaser of Happy Gilmore 2 offered us a glimpse of the palatial Pleasantdale Château in West Orange, New Jersey. It is here where Happy is honoured among other golfing legends like Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer with a metallic bust that makes him look more like 'SpongeBob' with 'beaver teeth' than a golf pro. While the early 20th-century property was purchased by New York industrialist Charles Walter Nichols in 1912, the luxurious property has evolved into a private event estate, hosting weddings, corporate retreats, and plenty of filming projects. Before Happy Gilmore 2 pitched its tents here, the Château and its backdrop had featured in episodes of The Sopranos, along with Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and Adrian Brody and Beyoncé musical drama Cadillac Records. Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, New Jersey As Happy returns to the golfing circuit to raise money for his daughter's ballet lessons, he must swing his club around in several New Jersey circuits, Fiddler's Elbow Country Club being one of them. The location boasts a manor for a clubhouse and three 18-hole courses, giving enough space for an enraged Happy to hole a birdie or two. Ideal Beach, New Jersey Every once in a while, Happy trades the trimmed country club grass for grainy beach sand. And the filming crew couldn't find a more ideal beach than, well, Ideal Beach. A blissful dog-friendly beach on the New Jersey shore, Ideal Beach serves as an ideal training ground for whatever it is that Happy is practising. From the looks of the trailers, Happy masters the art of aiming a golf ball into a trash can at this idyllic seaside location. Verona Town Hall, New Jersey The New Jersey town of Verona welcomed Sandler and his crew with open arms as Happy Gilmore 2 features some scenes in the Verona Town Hall. The official Instagram account of the township shared some BTS stills with Sandler, sprinkled with a caption reading 'Come back anytime'. Kearny, New Jersey A suburb of Newark, this New Jersey town raised eyebrows among locals when Adam Sandler was spotted filming scenes with Ben Stiller. The Tropic Thunder star reprises his role as psychotic retirement home nurse Hal L from the first film, although this time with greying hair and yellow aviators. Kearny is one of New Jersey's more popular filming destinations, appearing in diverse productions from the original Annie to the 2022 psychological horror Smile. And unsurprisingly, a few episodes of The Sopranos were also filmed here. The handlebar endures, however. Closter, New Jersey Ideal Beach isn't the only spot where Happy practises his oddball swings. During the film's multi-city New Jersey tour, the town of Closter also bore witness to Sandler sightings. The actor was spotted at a driving range with his stunt double, preparing his moves for a big match. Closter's previous filming credits include Nicolas Cage's The Family Man and a chaotic altercation between Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in The Wolf of Wall Street. Where else was it filmed? Fans of the film can plan out a Happy Gilmore 2 trail across New Jersey, taking in Steve's Burgers on Route 46, a manicure at Kim's Nails in Maplewood, and more food at Goldberg's World Famous Deli & Bagels in Millburn or Lokl Café in Morristown. Fly in via Newark Liberty International Airport, where a scene was filmed. Who's in the Happy Gilmore 2 cast? Adam Sandler reprises his role as the titular protagonist in Happy Gilmore 2. The absence of the late Carl Weathers will felt as his mentor figure Chubbs Peterson, as will Bob Barker's, but Christopher McDonald returns as Happy's sneery golfing nemesis Shooter McGavin, and Ben Stiller is back in an expanded role as obnoxious retirement home orderly Hal L. Also co-starring are Uncut Gems director and Oppenheimer actor Benny Safdie and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny as Happy's caddy. Modern Family actress Julie Bowen returns as Happy's girlfriend Virginia Venit. In the absence of the late Bob Barker, a legendary – and violent – cameo star in the 1996 original, look out for Margaret Qualley, Kid Cudi, Haley Joel Osment and a few real-life pro golfers. It'll be streaming on Netflix worldwide from Friday July 25. Is Happy Gilmore 2 in theaters? Unlike some Netflix movies, there are no plans for a cinema release. Bridget Moynahan to star in Boston Blue
Bridget Moynahan is set to star in the Blue Bloods spin-off series. The 54-year-old actress has reprised the role of Erin Reagan to star alongside Donnie Wahlberg in Boston Blue. Donnie, 55, wrote on Instagram: "Reunited and if feels so good! So excited to have my dear friend, and TV sister @bridgetmoynahan, join me for a special guest appearance in the premiere episode of #BostonBlue! She'll also be bringing her incredible directing talents to the show this season! More fun (and surprises) to come. [eyes emojis] Let's go! [heart emojis] (sic)" The celebrity duo previously played siblings on Blue Bloods, the hit drama series that ran from 2010 until 2024. And Donnie previously revealed his long-term ambitions for Blue Bloods, admitting that he wanted the show to compete with Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Speaking to Us Weekly in 2023, Donnie said: "I mean, Ice-T and Mariska Hargitay have been going for gosh, so many years, and we hope to last as long as they have. "One of the things I've done is I try to just stay very present in each episode and take each script that comes my way and say, 'OK, what's gonna happen now? You know, what am I doing this week?' And kind of find the journey in that particular episode and not get caught up in what's gonna happen next year, what's gonna happen in two years." Donnie also joked about the possibility of launching a Blue Bloods spin-off. Discussing one of his spin-off ideas, Donnie said: "Danny and Erin become private investigators and move to Hawaii, but that was too close to Magnum, P.I., so we didn't want to do that one." Meanwhile, Bridget previously shared details of her last day on Blue Bloods, revealing that the cast were "all a little disappointed". Speaking to People, the actress explained: "We've had such a good time. We all want to be there. It's a real loss. "This was our daily lives for 14 years. And we've all experienced together major life moments together, whether it's births, deaths, marriages, divorces, illnesses, we've had it all together."

Mariska Hargitay ‘devastated' when Meloni left SVU
Mariska Hargitay has revealed for the first time ever she was just as upset as Law and Order: Special Victims Unit fans were when co-star Christopher Meloni abruptly left the show. The 61-year-old star, who plays Olivia Benson in the long-running crime show, revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she was 'devastated' when Meloni, 64, left at the end of season 12. 'The entire world was just devastated - it happened very quickly, and it was surprising,' she told host Alex Cooper of his 2012 departure. Hargitay and Meloni played Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler, partners in the Special Victims Unit from 1999 to 2012. Credit: Supplied 'It was over a negotiation, and I tried everything I could to fix or change it.' 'He left. I was devastated.' She followed up by saying despite missing him as a co-star, it was 'awesome' that Meloni was able to do 'all these other great shows' since his departure. Meloni's character Elliot Stabler has since become the star of spin-off Law & Order: Organized Crime, which has run since 2021. Elliott Stabler has starred as the lead in spinoff show Law and Order: Organised Crime Credit: NBC The actor briefly returned to the world of SVU during season 22 in 2021 and has continued to make occasional small appearances on the series in recent years. 'Maybe on the last episode, that's when I think they should be together,' Hargitay teased the show's fans. Law & Order: SVU fan favorite breaks silence on possible return and where she stands with Mariska Hargitay
Stephanie March weighed in on whether or not she'd ever return to Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. She is best known for playing Assistant District Attorney Alex Cabot on the popular and long-running NBC series from 2000 to 2003 and then in special guest appearances until 2018. 'I think it would depend on the story, but they've got some good writers. Never say never, right?' March, 50, told People at the City Harvest Presents The 2025 Gala: Carnaval in New York City on Tuesday, April 22. She said that the power to bring her back may be in the hands of the show's fans. 'I guess if people still write, you could do a write-in campaign. That would be my only suggestion.' The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star also said that she catches up with her SVU co-stars on the regular. 'The good news is I get to see Chris [Meloni] and Mariska [Hargitay] and BD [Wong] and all of those other wonderful people with regularity, so that's good,' she shared. Stephanie also mentioned what she'd like to see next for her friends on the show. 'I just hope they keep their jobs like the rest of us,' she says. 'That's the most you can hope for any actor right now. Just keep ... our jobs.' March dished on the chemistry between Meloni and Hargitay's detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler. 'They're never not good,' she said. 'It's really amazing. The two of them together are fantastic. It's really unbelievable.' Even though she left SVU after season five, the show has had a major impact in her life and led her to her passion. She serves on the board of the Panzi Foundation, which is dedicated to ending the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. March is also on the board of OneKid OneWorld, which increases access, education and opportunities for women and girls in Kenya and Central America. She was inspired to join the organizations by a storyline on SVU during season 11. 'I remember it very clearly,' she said of the episode, titled Witness in which a potential witness in a rape case is reluctant to testify because she is an illegal immigrant who both witnessed and was the victim of unspeakable war crimes. 'And it was kind of stuck in my head at the time. And so I have to believe that to some degree, everything happens for a reason,' she said. 'I'm not sure that when I got the job, I intended for this to happen, but once I had the job, I became pretty deliberate about it because the subject matter I found disturbing and compelling. It was just not something I could put away when I came home at night from work.' 'I felt like my passion really was to advocate for women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence, and how sexual violence deprives us of our body autonomy and often our legal rights and our right to work. 'And it is, to me, where women and families are destroyed the most violently and the most quickly. I thought, "this is where I want to put my energy and my efforts." 'So, I became quite deliberate in my choices of how I wanted to participate and how I wanted to use my voice,' she added. 'And I have been lucky enough to find a few places where those interests intersect, and I'm very passionate about it.' Stephanie, who was formerly married to celebrity chef Bobby Flay for 10 years, married her current husband, financial advisor Dan Benton, 58, in 2017. The couple were introduced by a mutual friend in October 2015. 'They met for cocktails at the West Village bar Orient Express and had dinner afterwards,' a friend dished to People. 'But their first real date was a TED Talk [of educator Sal Khan of the Khan Academy] after which they talked for four hours. 'Dan adores her and supports her,' the friend added. They dated for a month before he proposed on July 24, 2017, the day after Stephanie's 43rd birthday, while they were on vacation in Greece. They tied the knot on September 1 at their home in Katonah, New York, surrounded by family and a few close friends.
