Clemson football's 2026 recruiting class continues to climb the national ranks as ESPN bumped the Tigers up to No. 4 in its latest update, reflecting a strong June filled with key visits and commitments. The Tigers now boast 10 ESPN 300 commitments, keeping them firmly in the top tier of national recruiters. Leading the charge on offense is recent addition Leo Delaney, the top-rated offensive commit in the class according to ESPN. The offensive tackle ranks No. 75 overall and No. 11 at his position. He joins a deep group of highly rated linemen that includes Carter Scruggs, Grant Wise, Adam Guthrie, and Chancellor Barclay — all ESPN 300 prospects. While much of the class is built around offense, the Tigers have also landed a key defensive piece in in-state standout Kentavion Anderson. At roughly 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Anderson brings length and athleticism to the back end of the defense and is expected to be a versatile presence in the secondary. Clemson holds the No. 4 spot not only in ESPN's rankings, but also in the 247Sports Composite, with a No. 2 ranking from 247Sports and No. 3 from Rivals. On3 ranks the class No. 7 overall. Clemson makes another huge recruiting splash landing 4-star OL Leo Delaney Clemson continues to build one of the nation's top offensive line classes for 2026, this time landing a major commitment from four-star lineman Leo Delaney. According to multiple sources, Delaney has pledged to the Tigers over offers from Michigan and Penn State. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound standout from Providence Day School in Charlotte had originally planned to commit on July 11 but decided to announce early after his recent official visit to Clemson. Delaney's commitment marks the fifth offensive lineman to join the Tigers in this cycle, following fellow four-stars Braden Wilmes, Adam Guthrie, Grant Wise, and Chance Barclay. Clemson's revamped approach to recruiting in the trenches has paid off in a big way, and much of that credit goes to offensive line coach Matt Luke. Since his arrival, Luke has proven to be one of the most impactful hires Clemson could have made, quickly turning the offensive line into a true recruiting strength. Delaney is ranked No. 62 nationally, the No. 5 interior lineman, and the No. 5 player in North Carolina by 247Sports. Michigan football OL target Leo Delaney drops top 4, sets commitment date Michigan football recruiting is starting to heat up, evidenced by the Wolverines getting two commitments on Saturday in four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney. But the maize and blue won't see the bulk of the 2026 class come together until June and July, after all of the official visits take place. One prospect that the Wolverines have been hot and heavy on is 2026 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star interior offensive lineman Leo Delaney. Delaney has made several trips to Ann Arbor and he was high school teammates with Michigan quarterback Jadyn Davis and wide receiver Channing Goodwin. On Tuesday, Delaney revealed his top four schools as well as his commitment date. Michigan football made the cut and he intends on committing to his school of choice on July 11. Delaney is rated highest by 247Sports, which has him as the No. 62 player in the country, regardless of position. Clemson, Penn State, and Tennessee are his other finalists. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Wolverines as heavy, heavy favorites while there are two 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions from April for him -- one for Michigan and one for the Vols.
