Nebraska to host top offensive tackle in June

Nebraska football is set to host class of 2026 offensive tackle Leon Noil Jr. in June. He is set to take an official visit to Lincoln on June 12. Noel will have a busy summer. He will visit UCF on May 30, Baylor on June 6, Houston on June 16, and Mississippi State on June 20. Advertisement Noel is the 19th overall player in the state of Louisiana, and the 59th overall player at his position. He is a three-star recruit per Rivals rankings. Currently, Nebraska has four commitments in the 2026 class. The class itself ranks 57th overall in the country per Rivals rankings. Landing an offensive lineman would be a major get for the Huskers in this class. It would give them the potential to build around their quarterback and continue to add talent to the offensive line. This is certainly a recruitment to watch closely. Nebraska to host offensive tackle next month

Nebraska to host offensive tackle next month Nebraska football will host 2026 offensive lineman Leon Noil Jr. on April 26, Sam Spiegelman reported on Thursday. Noil Jr. is the 17th overall player in the state of Louisiana and the 65th overall offensive tackle and his class, per the rankings. He is a three-star recruit. In addition to Nebraska, he will take several campus trips. He will visit Mississippi State on March 22, Houston on March 29, UCF on April 3, Baylor on April 12, and Oklahoma State on April 19. He will wrap up his visits with a final stop in Lincoln. Noil Jr. measures six feet five inches and weighs 270 pounds. The Huskers have been scheduling visits with offensive linemen over the last couple of classes. However, the Huskers currently do not have an offensive line commitment in the 2026 class, which ranks 44th overall nationally with three commitments, per the 247Sports Rankings. The Huskers certainly have several capable linemen on the roster already. However, additional depth is important, especially for future classes. Scheduling multiple visits with multiple prospects is a smart strategy, especially at a position that is placed at a premium.
