Nebraska to host top offensive tackle in June
Nebraska football is set to host class of 2026 offensive tackle Leon Noil Jr. in June. He is set to take an official visit to Lincoln on June 12.
Noel will have a busy summer. He will visit UCF on May 30, Baylor on June 6, Houston on June 16, and Mississippi State on June 20.

Noel is the 19th overall player in the state of Louisiana, and the 59th overall player at his position. He is a three-star recruit per Rivals rankings.
Currently, Nebraska has four commitments in the 2026 class. The class itself ranks 57th overall in the country per Rivals rankings. Landing an offensive lineman would be a major get for the Huskers in this class. It would give them the potential to build around their quarterback and continue to add talent to the offensive line. This is certainly a recruitment to watch closely.

MSU target, 3-star DL Gavin Neil commits to Boston College following official visit
MSU target, 3-star DL Gavin Neil commits to Boston College following official visit A Michigan State defensive lineman target in the 2026 class has committed to a program the Spartans will lineup against this upcoming season. Gavin Neil of Chicago Heights, Ill. announced his commitment to Boston College on Sunday. The commitment -- which he announced via a post on social media platform X -- to the Eagles from Neil comes after he took an official visit to Boston College this past weekend. Neil is a three-star defensive lineman in the 2026 class, and holds a recruiting rating of 86 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 140 defensive lineman and No. 34 player from Illinois in the class. Michigan State was Neil's only other power four offer at this point in the recruitment, and the Spartans were the previous favorite to land his commitment. Boston College, though, entered the mix this past week with an offer and a quick official visit to get him on their recruiting board. Neil was supposed to visit Michigan State next week but it is assumed that he will not be making that visit now. Texas A&M women's team closes track season strong with podium finish at NCAA Outdoors
Texas A&M women's team closes track season strong with podium finish at NCAA Outdoors The Texas A&M women's track and field team has consistently ranked in the top five all season long and, among elite programs, finished third at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Overtaking the Georgia Bulldogs, who ran away with the point total, was always going to be a tall order, especially with the next closest team trailing by 26 points. That left a fierce battle for second place, where the USC Trojans edged out the Aggies, 47 to 43, thanks to standout individual performances and a season-best showing in the 4x100m relay. Junior triple jumper Winny Bii became the Aggies' lone NCAA Champion of the day. Her opening jump of 13.96m (45-9.75) held up throughout the competition, earning Texas A&M its first-ever NCAA title in the women's triple jump. Debora Cherono, Jasmine Montgomery, Jaiya Covington, and Sofia Yakushina all scored key points, helping solidify the team's top-five finish. Texas A&M also notched two top-four relay results, second in the 4x100m (42.89) and fourth in the 4x400m (3:27.11), both marking season-best times. While the ultimate goal remains a national title, finishing third in the season was a strong and promising result. Landon Duckworth pays surprise visit to Auburn, sets commitment timeline
Landon Duckworth pays surprise visit to Auburn, sets commitment timeline Duckworth visited Auburn over the weekend to develop relationships with coaches and players. Auburn football received surprising, yet wonderful news last week when Landon Duckworth shared that his focus will be on two schools, Auburn and South Carolina, from now on. Following his announcement, he paid a visit to Auburn over the weekend to spend time with coaches and players. Duckworth, a four-star quarterback from Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, told Cole Pinkston of Auburn Live that he wanted to visit Auburn for the weekend after cancelling visits to Florida State and Ole Miss to spend time with coaches and continue developing relationships. 'Oh yeah, it was important most definitely,' Duckworth said of spending time with Auburn's coaches. 'It was a free weekend, and I haven't really been up here a lot since the new coaches have been here. I thought I needed to come back and see the coaching staff and get a better relationship with them.' The only area of concern with Auburn's interest in Duckworth is the signing of Deuce Knight, who just signed with Auburn as a member of the 2025 recruiting class. Duckworth says that Knight's signing will not play a factor in his decision, citing that there will be quarterback competition no matter where he signs. Instead, he is focusing on building a relationship with Knight, who he has encountered several times. 'I knew him while he was in high school and we've talked over Instagram. We trained at Quarterback Country a few times. Now he's here so we've gotten even closer," Duckworth said of Knight. "He hits me up and we hang out every time I come here.' Now that Duckworth is down to two schools, when will he decide on a winner? Duckworth says that he does not have a cemented date, but his commitment could come in July. Duckworth is the No. 3 player from Alabama for the 2026 recruiting cycle, and the No. 6 quarterback of the class according to 247Sports rankings. If Auburn can land Duckworth, it will do wonders for its 2026 class that has slipped in the rankings recently, and will build momentum toward winning the state of Alabama again. Auburn has one top-10 Alabama commitment at this point of the cycle, and a potential commitment from Duckworth could bring a spark.
