Paris FC submit Moses Simon offer

Newly-promoted Paris FC have submitted an offer for FC Nantes forward Moses Simon (29), according to a report from Ouest-France. Simon has consistently impressed since joining Nantes back in 2020, without getting the big move that his output has arguably deserved. Last season, he netted eight goals and registered 10 assists in Ligue 1, helping Les Canaris retain their top-flight status. Advertisement His strike partner, Matthis Abline, is highly coveted. The likes of Olympique de Marseille and Lille OSC are interested, as are a whole host of Premier League clubs. However, Simon, to,o is attracting interest and could be set for a move away from the Beaujoire. As per Ouest-France, recently promoted Paris FC have submitted a €5m bid for the Nigeria international. That offer has been rejected, although it seems likely that the forward will still make a move this summer. His contract with Nantes expires at the end of next season. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Nantes interested in bringing in former Lyon manager Pierre Sage

FC Nantes could make a managerial change at the end of the season. Les Canaris are not yet assured of safety and currently hover just three points above the relegation play-off spot with five games remaining. They have a game in hand on those around them, against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. There has been talk about the managerial position for much of the season at Nantes. Antoine Kombouaré came in at the end of last season to save the club from relegation, however, there has been a temptation to twist. Waldemar Kita attempted to replace Kombouré during the winter break, however, could not get deals over the line for either Habib Beye or Sergio Conceiçao. Advertisement Mohamed Toubache-Ter understands that Nantes are still on the look out for a new manager and could make a move for Pierre Sage. The Frenchman has been out of a job since leaving Olympique Lyonnais earlier in the season. Sage recently told The Athletic that he is looking to make a return to management. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
