Bow Wow Speaks On Ciara's Absence From 'Like You' BET Awards Performance
Bow Wow performed a medley of nostalgic hits during the 106 & Park reunion at the 2025 BET Awards, which included his 2005 smash 'Like You' featuring Ciara. Following the performance, fans took to social media to share their disappointment over Ciara's absence despite being present in the room. Bow, né Shad Moss, addressed fans' concerns with his view on why he believes his former girlfriend was left out of his set. TMZ ran into the 'Ghetto Girls' rapper after the show, and he explained why he didn't take the stage with Ci Ci, chalking it up to his unawareness that she was there. 'I didn't know she was in the building,' he admitted after saying that it's the network's job to source the talent. 'I been in my trailer all day, I been in rehearsals, hosting red carpets, but I will say that it would've been a wonderful moment.' He added, 'I know she was in attendance … well, I didn't know that until I got off stage and went back to my trailer and checked Twitter (now X).' The 2025 BET Awards pulled out all the nostalgic stops to celebrate its 25th anniversary on Monday (June 9), delivering a history-making moment with a long-anticipated 106 & Park reunion. Complete with a replica of the original set staged inside Los Angeles' Peacock Theater, the tribute brought back fan-favorite hosts Free, Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Chanté, Big Tigger, and Terrence J to honor the iconic music countdown show that shaped an era of Black culture. Bow Wow Sparks Jade Pinkett Breakup Rumors With 'Back Outside' Post From Las Vegas
Shad 'Bow Wow' Moss has given fans reason to believe his romance with Jade Pinkett has come to an end, as the rapper took to Instagram this weekend letting the ladies know he's 'back outside.' The Ohio artist, 38, shared a photo Sunday (June 2) to the social media platform of him hanging out in what appears to be a luxe, Las Vegas suite with several friends, including one woman who hugs Bow from behind and places her hand on his chest as he snaps a photo via a ceiling mirror. 'I barley [sic] post! BUT THIS VEGIS [sic] TRIP IM ON BS! LADIES IM BACK OUTSDIE [sic],' the 'Like You' rapper declared within the post's caption. Check it out below.
