Driver injured after car crashes in Inanam

The Lintas Fire and Rescue Station received the emergency call at 11.43pm and arrived at the scene seven minutes later, about 5 kilometres from the station. Advertisement Firefighters found the male driver conscious and handed him over to the Health Ministry team for further treatment. The fire team cleaned up spilt oil using a hose reel to prevent any hazards at the crash site. Another teen injured in crash against tree at Jalan Lintas

Kota Kinabalu: A 17-year-old sustained leg injuries after the Perodua Axia he was travelling in veered off the road and crashed into a tree along Jalan Taman Iramanis, Jalan Lintas, here, Sunday. This is the second known accident in which teenagers were injured after their car crashed into a tree along the same route this month. The first, involved an 18-year-old who sustained injuries to his face and chest. Advertisement In the latest accident, a team from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station went to the scene following a 7.32am distress call. It was not immediately known whether the teenager was a passenger or the car driver. The team arrived at the scene some four kilometres away within five minutes. A team from the Emergency Medical Response Services were also at the scene to assist. Using specialised equipment, the rescue team assisted the trapped victim, who was given early aid by the EMRS medics before being sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Two houses razed in Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu: Two houses were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Tatahan, Inanam, here, Wednesday. No casualties were reported. The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 3.10pm and dispatched a team from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station led by Mohd Hasrulnizam Mohd Zain. The team arrived at the scene at 3.17pm and brought the fire under control at 3.58pm.
