‘Justice Is Served': Indian Army Videos Show Terror Camps Destroyed In PoK, Pakistan

Last Updated: These sites highlight the systematic infrastructure that supports cross-border terrorism, involving hundreds of trained militants under senior leadership The Indian Army on Wednesday released videos of Operation Sindoor, the country's pre-dawn strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK that were used by groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, revealing the precision strikes by the forces. Soon after the strikes, the official handle of the Indian Army shared a poster of Operation Sindoor, with the message 'Justice is Served'. Pakistan hosts several key terror facilities operated by groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), which are actively used for recruitment, training, and infiltration into India. JeM's Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, which was targeted, was its operational headquarters and linked to attacks like Pulwama. LeT's Markaz Taiba in Muridke has trained perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Other significant launch pads include facilities in Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Sialkot, often run from government buildings and aided by Pakistan's ISI and military. These camps provide arms training, religious indoctrination, and support infiltration via tunnels and drones, while locations like Shawai Nallah and Markaz Syedna Bilal serve as major transit and operational bases for attacks in Jammu & Kashmir. Collectively, these sites highlight the systematic infrastructure that supports cross-border terrorism, involving hundreds of trained militants under senior leadership, posing a persistent threat to regional security and stability. Numerous training camps (Markaz), Detachments (Detts.), and launch pads are strategically located near military areas, Basic Health Units (BHUs), and Primary Health Centers (PHCs), providing cover for terrorist activities. Notable sites such as Sarjal–Tehra Kalan (JeM) and Mehmoona Joya–Sialkot (HM) are embedded within health facilities, enabling covert operations. These groups are equipped with advanced military-grade communication systems, including LoRa, Ultra Sets, and Digital Mobile Radios (DMR), to evade technical surveillance. Additionally, the Pakistan military supports these operations by enhancing Pak-TSP signal strength across the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC), facilitating communications with infiltrated operatives. #OperationSindoor | Indian Army releases videos of Indian strikes on Pakistani terror camps. Nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed.(Videos Source: Indian Army) — ANI (@ANI) May 7, 2025 For example, the Sarjal–Tehra Kalan detachment houses a high-frequency (HF) communication setup, enabling secure planning and coordination between handlers and terrorists active within Indian territory. Terror Camps 1. Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur: Markaz Subhan Allah, operational since 2015, is the main centre of JeM for training and indoctrination and serves as its operational headquarters. It is associated with terrorist planning by JeM, including the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019. The Markaz houses the residences of JeM Chief Maulana Masood Azhar, de-facto Chief Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, Maulana Ammar, and other family members. 2. Markaz Taiba, Muridke: Established in 2000, Markaz Taiba is the main training centre of LeT, located in Nangal Sahdan, Muridke, Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan. The complex includes arms and physical training facilities, along with religious indoctrination for recruits from Pakistan and abroad. It serves as a key radicalisation hub, enrolling around 1000 students annually. Osama Bin Laden reportedly financed Rs 10 million for a mosque and guest house within the complex. At the behest of Pakistan's ISI, 26/11 Mumbai attack perpetrators, including Ajmal Kasab, received training here. Conspirators David Headley and Tahawwur Rana also visited the site under Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi's instructions. 3. Sarjal/Tehra Kalan: Located in Shakargarh Tehsil of Narowal District, Punjab, Pakistan, this JeM facility is the main launching base for terrorist infiltration into J&K. Operated from a Primary Health Center building in Tehra Kalan village, it is strategically placed just 6 km from the international border in Samba sector. It supports tunnel digging for cross-border infiltration and drone launches to drop arms and narcotics. 4. Mehmoona Joya Facility, Sialkot: This Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) facility, situated inside the Bhutta Kotli Govt. Basic Health Unit in Head Marala area, is used for infiltration into Jammu region. Senior HM commanders train cadres in weapons handling and terrorist operations here. Commander Mohd. Irfan Khan @ Irfan Tanda, involved in several attacks in Jammu, oversees the facility where 20–25 terrorists are typically stationed at any given time. 5. Markaz Ahle Hadith Barnala, Bhimber: Located on the outskirts of Barnala town on Kote Jamel road, this LeT facility in PoJK facilitates infiltration into the Poonch–Rajauri–Reasi sector. It functions as a staging area for up to 150 cadres. 6. Markaz Abbas, Kotli: Also known as Markaz Saidna Hazrat Abbas Bin Abdul Mutalib, this JeM centre in Kotli is led by Hafiz Abdul Shakoor @ Qari Zarrar, a key JeM planner wanted by India's NIA. It can accommodate 100–125 cadres and is a key planning base for operations in the Poonch–Rajouri region. 7. Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli: This is one of HM's oldest facilities in Kotli District, PoJK. It can house 150–200 terrorists and provides both arms and specialised training in sniper tactics, high-altitude warfare, and survival. 8. Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad: Also known as Bait-ul-Mujahideen, this major LeT facility is situated near the Chelabandi bridge on Muzaffarabad-Neelum Road. It has operated since the early 2000s and was one of the training sites for 26/11 attackers. The camp offers a wide range of training, from religious indoctrination to tactical and weapons training, often with the help of Pakistani military trainers. It can accommodate up to 250 cadres and serves as a staging ground for infiltration into North Kashmir. 9. Markaz Syedna Bilal: Located opposite Red Fort in Muzaffarabad, PoJK, this JeM facility acts as a transit camp for terrorists being launched into J&K. It houses 50–100 cadres and is run by Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri. Indian fugitive Aashiq Nengroo and others operate from here, with SSG commandos from the Pakistani Army assisting in training. Down Over 50%—Are These 2 Chip Stocks the Next NVIDIA?

With the market in correction territory, chip stocks generally have not avoided the carnage. The S&P 500 Index is down approximately 14% from its 52-week high as of the April 22 close, and the Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ: SOXQ) is down around 35% from highs. Two lesser-known chip stocks— Semtech (NASDAQ: SMTC) and Onsemi (NASDAQ: ON) —have suffered much more, trading at discounts of more than 50% from their 52-week highs. However, these companies have significant opportunities to achieve long-term growth and could be strong buys given their depressed valuations. Semtech: Long-Term Tailwinds and Historically Low Valuation [content-module:CompanyOverview|NASDAQ:SMTC] Semtech is trading down massively from its 52-week high. The stock hit its high on January 22, but has dropped a whopping 69% from that level. This falling price comes amid a drastic improvement in the company's overall financial position. In its most recent quarter, revenue rose 30% year-over-year (YOY), and adjusted operating margin nearly doubled —from just over 9% in fiscal Q4 2024 to nearly 20% in fiscal Q4 2025. Additionally, the company's second-largest end market, infrastructure, saw 75% YOY growth. The infrastructure segment includes data center customers. Morgan Stanley analysts believe the market 'might not be fully appreciating Semtech's potential in the data center market.' This looks possible, maybe even understated, as Semtech is talking with 20 potential customers for its CopperEdge products. This includes hyperscalers, switch makers, and cable suppliers. As data centers grow larger and process more data, CopperEdge offers an important technological solution. In the company's largest end market, Industrial, its LoRa devices saw revenues rise 205% from the prior year quarter. This product is clearly resonating with customers. It has the potential to be a massive long-term growth driver as a key technology used in smart cities of the future. [content-module:Forecast|NASDAQ:SMTC] The stock is trading near its five-year lows when looking at its forward enterprise value to sales (EV/S) ratio. The figure sits at around 2.5x but has averaged 4.6x over the last five years. The current sentiment around Semtech is mixed, reflecting a balance between recent challenges, the uncertain economic environment, and ongoing optimism. Morgan Stanley placed a price target of $30 on SMTC stock, indicating upside of 22% over the next 12 months. However, the long-term opportunity for Semtech looks significantly larger, given its improving financial position and products with long-term tailwinds. Onsemi: Positioned for EV and Data Center Megatrends [content-module:CompanyOverview|NASDAQ:ON] Onsemi is another chip stock that has gotten absolutely battered. It is down nearly 56% from its 52-week high in July 2024. Onsemi primarily makes chips for auto and industrial markets. These markets have been working through an inventory glut, causing Onsemi to see negative revenue growth for six quarters in a row. However, Onsemi's strong profitability has remained despite this downturn. It still boasts an adjusted gross profit margin of around 45% and an adjusted operating margin of more than 25%. This positions the firm as one of the more profitable companies in the technology sector—impressive, given that Onsemi designs and also manufactures its chips. Lower sales can hit manufacturing companies hard, affecting their economies of scale. The company is targeting revenue growth of 10% to 12% through 2027 as well as a 40% operating margin. Onsemi sees itself as well-positioned to take advantage of ' fast-growing secular megatrends ' to drive long-term growth and increased profits. This includes increasing electric vehicle (EV) ownership. It is a leader in silicon carbide (SiC)-based chips that can benefit greatly from this trend. Onsemi also sees a big opportunity in its SiC Junction Field-Effect Transistors, which can be key in powering data centers. SiC chips offer exceptional power efficiency, making them ideal for use cases that require extensive electricity. [content-module:Forecast|NASDAQ:ON] The stock's forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio sits at just over 14x, solidly below its five-year average of over 18x. Overall, it is very difficult to say when the company's main end markets will return to growth, and more downside could be in store in 2025. However, Onsemi's profitability, depressed valuation, and technological leadership can allow it to win big when growth resumes. Analysts remain cautiously optimistic on Onsemi, with a mix of Buy and Hold ratings, and one Sell rating. The consensus p rice target of $63.52 implies a nearly 75% potential upside over the next 12 months. However, as the company's end markets stabilize, investor sentiment could shift quickly.
