Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav on Tuesday took a jibe at Lok Sabha LOP
for not removing his shoes while paying homage to former PM Indira Gandhi outside the state Congress office.
Yadav told reporters, "I have received information that the Lok Sabha LOP has come to the state.

He should come. This is a democracy. Everyone has the right to come."
He then said, "But he (Rahul Gandhi) offered floral tributes to his grandmother (Indira Gandhi) and did not remove his shoes. This I didn't like much because it is not in our culture. We need to give special attention to this. In our culture, we have special sensitivity when offering homage."
Rahul Gandhi came to the state capital on a day's visit to launch the Congress' 'Sangathan Srajan Abhiyan' (organisation rejuvenation campaign) and hold meetings with party functionaries, MLAs, and workers.
Soon after his arrival at the Congress state office, Rahul paid floral tributes at the foot of Indira's statue located outside the state PCC office. A video went viral showing Rahul offering his tribute wearing shoes.
