Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma Begin Rahu Ketu Shoot In Kasol

The iconic duo of Hunny and Chucha, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, is back to tickle your funny bone with their next outing, Rahu Ketu. Helmed by director Vipul Vig, the comedy-drama is currently in production, with the latest schedule kicking off in the scenic hills of Kasol, Himachal Pradesh. Pulkit recently took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets, instantly sparking fan frenzy. Alongside a carousel of on-set pictures, the actor captioned the post, 'Kasol schedule on, Rahu Ketu in action now!" With the beloved pair reuniting, expectations for another laughter riot are already sky-high. In the first picture, both actors are seen posing with the director against a vibrant fairground backdrop, complete with a giant Ferris wheel in the distance. The next snapshot is a cheerful selfie featuring Pulkit Samrat and his co-star Shalini Pandey, radiating on-set camaraderie. The next post shows Pulkit holding the film's clapboard, with Varun casually standing behind him. In the following picture, the duo strikes a pose together, standing side by side with cheerful expressions. Wrapping up the carousel, the Fukrey actor shared a solo shot of himself proudly holding the clapboard. Pulkit looked dapper in a floral overshirt layered over a blue T-shirt, paired with black pants. Varun kept it cool in a blue overshirt, dark blue T-shirt, and matching black trousers. Besides this, Pulkit will also be seen in the upcoming romantic drama, Suswagatam Khushamadeed, along with Isabelle Kaif. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on May 16. Sikandar OTT Release Date According to a report by Lokmat Times, Netflix secured the digital streaming rights for the film soon after its release in cinemas. If ongoing speculations are accurate, the Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is likely to make its OTT debut on the platform on May 25, 2025. Sikandar Plot Sanjay Rajkot, portrayed by Salman Khan, is a noble and courageous ruler cherished by his subjects, who affectionately refer to him as Sikandar or Raja Saab. His world is shattered after a deadly confrontation with a corrupt and influential minister, played by Sathyaraj, which results in the tragic death of his beloved wife, Saisri (Rashmika Mandanna). In a final act of compassion, Saisri donates her organs to three individuals in Mumbai before passing away. Among them are a young boy from the slums of Dharavi who receives her lungs, a gifted aspiring chartered accountant who gains her eyesight, and a college student battling a heart condition who is given her heart. In a sinister attempt to emotionally break Sanjay, the corrupt minister targets these three individuals. The narrative then follows Sanjay as he rises to defend them, shielding them from harm while transforming their lives in meaningful ways. Pinkvilla reviewed Khan's starrer as "Overall, Sikandar fails to deliver what it sets out to and hardly qualifies as mass entertaining cinema. Sikandar's review The Times of India rated the movie 2 out of 5, and a part of their review read, 'The story and the narrative are the biggest letdown of this larger-than-life movie; even if they are trying to draw in die-hard Salman Khan fans, we wish they had taken the action notches higher. A few standout punches and stunts here and there could have probably salvaged this one.'

Prerna Arora booked for alleged Rs 1.33 crore fraud against 'Fanney Khan' co-producer Kashish Khan
Film producer Prerna Arora is booked by Versova police for allegedly defrauding co-producer Kashish Khan of ₹1.33 crore related to Fanney Khan. Arora allegedly promised profits and co-producer credit, but failed to deliver, offering a forged deposit certificate instead. She faces charges including fraud and forgery. On April 30, film producer Prerna Arora was registered by Versova police for reportedly cheating Kashish Khan , also known as Nafisa Khan, her co-producer on the movie 'Fanney Khan', of Rs 1.33 crore. Initial Meeting and Investment Proposal According to Lokmat Times, the FIR states that Kashish Khan, aged 37 and living in Andheri West, first met Prerna Arora, a resident of Hiranandani, Powai, in 2018 through mutual acquaintances. During their introduction, Arora portrayed herself as a film producer with experience working alongside stars like Aishwarya Rai , Akshay Kumar , and John Abraham , which earned Khan's confidence. Arora purportedly informed Khan that despite possessing a Rs 60 crore fixed deposit, she couldn't obtain a loan using it. Subsequently, she solicited Khan to invest in a film venture, guaranteeing appealing profits. At the time, Arora was engaged in the production of both 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' and 'Fanney Khan'. Differences After Film Release Upon the release of 'Fanney Khan' in 2018, featuring Aishwarya Rai, Anil Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao, Khan discovered that she wasn't credited as a co-producer, nor did she receive the agreed-upon 5 per cent of the profits. When Khan inquired with Arora, Arora cited her father's sickness as a reason and presented a Rs 60 crore fixed deposit certificate, promising the return of the money. Additional Payments and Alleged Fraud From March 2018 to January 2019, Arora is accused of taking an additional Rs 83 lakh from Khan across several transactions. Since the agreed-upon time passed without Arora returning the total sum, she allegedly defrauded Khan. Arrest and Discovery of Forgery During this period, Prerna Arora was taken into custody by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for a separate fraud case. Subsequently, Khan found out that the fixed deposit certificate Arora had presented was forged. Following Arora's release from jail, Khan requested the repayment of her funds, but despite Arora issuing multiple cheques, all of them were dishonored. Legal Action and Charges Filed As a result, Khan submitted a complaint against Prerna Arora and her mother, leading the police to register a case against both women. The charges include sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating and dishonesty), 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating), and 471 (using a forged document as genuine) of the Indian Penal Code.
