Apple TV+ new series Long Way Home will see Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman take a 20th anniversary trip across the UK and Europe - here's everything you need to know Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are set to embark on another cross-country journey in a new season of their 'Long Way' series. The latest instalment, Long Way Home, will be available for streaming from May 9, more than two decades after the duo's first epic motorcycle adventure. The upcoming series, spread across 10 episodes, will follow the pair as they ride refurbished vintage motorbikes from McGregor's home in Scotland to Boorman's home in England. However, instead of taking the shortest route, they've instead opted for the scenic one. Their journey takes them across the North Sea to Scandinavia, up to the Arctic Circle, down to the Baltics and through continental Europe, before finally crossing back over the English Channel two months later. Their nine-week-long adventure takes in 17 countries and some of the world's most spectacular driving routes. This marks the fourth edition of the Emmy-nominated series, following Long Way Round, Long Way Down and Long Way Up. Long Way Home will be exclusively available on Apple TV+. The platform also hosts the three previous seasons, all of which are available for streaming, reports the Mirror. Disney+ is also set to launch a raft of docuseries of its own, including National Geographic titles such as Secrets of the Penguins and Tucci in Italy, which will debut on May 19. Limitless with Chris Hemsworth is also expected to return later this year. In Long Way Home, McGregor can be seen riding a 1974 Moto Guzzi 850 El Dorado, previously used as a California police bike, while Boorman brings back to life a 1972 BMW R75/5, once described as a 'rust heap'.
