Popeyes to open first Stoke-on-Trent restaurant
Fast-food giant Popeyes is preparing to open its first Stoke-on-Trent branch. The hospitality chain - known for its 'famous Louisiana chicken' - is currently recruiting for a general manager and an assistant general manager to head up its new Stoke-on-Trent operation.
The general manager role has a closing date of Friday 11 July and pays up to £44,000-a-year. The assistant general manager position is open until August 2.
The location of the new branch has yet to be disclosed. But it is thought that the chain will move onto Festival Park and open in the old Frankie & Benny's unit or in the soon-to-be-vacant Pizza Hut.

It comes as Pizza Hut is shutting its Festival Park restaurant on July 26.
Burger chain Five Guys is also currently recruiting staff ahead of opening its first-ever Stoke-on-Trent restaurant on Festival Park.
