Helen Flanagan's 'nightmare' return from Scotland following family trip to Glasgow

The Corrie star, 34, has admitted that her ban from driving has caused her chaos as she struggles to juggle life again as a single mum to her three kids Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and four-year-old son Charlie. Helen Flanagan detailed her "nightmare" journey following her trip to Scotland at the weekend. The mum-of-three visited Glasgow with her three kids Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and four-year-old son Charlie. Taking to Instagram, the Corrie star explained trains were off which left the single mum scrambling around. It comes as 34-year-old has recently split with her partner Robbie Talbot. ‌ Helen explained: "Had a nightmare journey yesterday getting back from Scotland... no trains were running back home... so I had to get a coach to Carlisle... I had to wait over an hour with the kids to get a train from Carlisle to home, then an uber from the station with three kids on my own and a massive suitcase, pram and a million bags ‌ "I used to drive to Scotland all the time and back and I've got about 6 weeks hopefully left until I can drive, I can honestly say it's been a nightmare losing my license with 3 kids when I look after them the majority of the time, especially because I wasn't even driving." Helen allegedly claims it was her ex Robbie who was driving her Audi at the time when the vehicle was caught speeding twice in Merseyside last year. Despite claiming a driving ban would cause her "exceptional hardship" she was banned driving for six months. "Read Charlie a million stories, did lots of jigsaws, lots of art and crafts and playdough," She added. "I know what my dad's like if I would of called him he would have probs drove to Glasgow and back to pick me and the kids up but my parents do loads for me and the kids as it is... honestly can't wait to drive...I could have shares in Uber and I live on trains." Helen later shared a photo of a huge mug of coffee, admitting she had "lost track" of how many cups she had been drinking, admitting her PMDD was making her exhausted. During her trip to Glasgow, Helen enjoyed a gifted stay to the AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow, situated in the city centre on George street. The luxury hotel first opened its doors back in 2023 as a key part of the £100 million Love Loan development. ‌ Helen also shared a clip of her youngest daughter Delilah and son Charlie, who was enjoying a huge chocolate brownie in a local cafe. The kids managed to catch the good weather as they also enjoyed a day out at Monty's Farm Park in Cardross village. She was joined by her good pal Victoria Halliday. "Smiling through the tantrums," Helen later declared as she shared a photo of her and Charlie, who was sitting on her knee appearing to be mid-tantrum. Another video clip saw him feeding the goats. Monty's Farm Park has had a few well-known visitors in the past, including Love Island star Laura Anderson and Scots model Emily Shak. The visit offered a mix of animal encounters, outdoor adventures and delicious home baking, creating the perfect family day out. The Ardardan Estate has also recently unveiled a beautiful new private event space, nestled within the estate grounds, offering an exclusive setting for everything from intimate celebrations to special gatherings with a countryside charm.

Kayleigh McGregor emailed Richard Walker to express her 'genuine appreciation for what Iceland represents and how the supermarket consistently delivers for people like her'. ‌ Glasgow resident Kayleigh said that it's rare to see a brand of Iceland's size not only acknowledge those who come from a working-class background, but also actively create products to suit their needs. As well as praising Iceland's affordable meals, saying the quality is 'better than some restaurants she's paid triple for' and Iceland's actions during the pandemic, Kayleigh states that Iceland is more than just a supermarket, it's a 'lifeline'. Josie arrived in Glasgow, surprising Kayleigh in an Iceland van full of some of the products she mentioned that she loved in her email, delivering items such as Greggs Steak Bakes, Iceland Chicken & Mushroom Curry, Brioche Rolls, and Iceland Thin & Crispy French Fries.
