Wearing a simple black two-piece gym set, Lucy showed off her curves in the unfiltered video as she spoke about her nervousness at putting her real body on display for the first time ever. Lucy-Jo said in the clip: "This is really embarrassing actually filming this as I've never really shown you any of my wobbly bits. "I like to tuck them all in but this is me with no filters. "All of me is on show." The star, who used to be married to Corrie co-star Alan Halsall, added: "I've got 30 days to transform this body to drop 10 pounds and build up some muscle. "It is gonna be blood, sweat and tears but I am so ready for this journey." She went on to further open up about her body hang-ups and goals in a caption for the clip in which she admitted she wasn't sure if she even had the confidence to upload the clip at all. The 42-year-old wrote: "This is me, 42, mum of 2, no filters, no good angles, just me and my wobbly bits. Honestly this video was so hard for me to film and I wasn't sure whether to post it or not. "But then I thought why the hell not, I'm not perfect, I'm a working mum who never has time for herself and I wanted to do something about it! "I'm so self conscious of my body, unless I'm fully dressed…. But to take you on this journey I need to be open and honest from the start. So here we go… this is me flaws and all Lucy went on to reveal her exact weight and what she is hoping to get too, confessing that she wanted to drop 10lbs to reach a final weight of 8st and 13lbs. Lucy said: "I aim to drop 10lbs, (I am currently 9st 9lbs) and I want to completely change my body shape. I am going to get leaner and build muscle…. Sort my flat a**e out and grow some glutes. She went on to confess that she would be revealing her transformed body with a photoshoot as she begged her followers to join her on her fitness transformation. 5 She is on a month-long fitness journey Credit: instagram/@lucyjo_hudson 5 The star has appeared in a number of soaps Credit: Getty But she added she was expecting to find it difficult as a result of her hectic lifestyle, adding: "We have so much going on in our lives, with events coming up, work & family related. The kids break up from school in a couple of weeks and my life in general is absolutely crazy But I have been putting this off for well over a year now, and I am so fed up with myself." Lucy-Jo has never been far from the spotlight since shooting to fame for her small parts in soaps. She is arguably best known for her former co-star marriage to actor Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, with whom she shares their daughter, Sienna. Lucy-Jo originally played gobby Katy Harris for just over two years in the ITV soap until she was written out in 2005. She later played Donna-Marie in Hollyoaks before eventually going on to pick up an award for Villain of The Year at the British Soap Awards for her role of Rhiannon Davis in Doctors.

Corrie star addresses hospital dash as she confirms underlying health issue
Former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson has discussed her chronic anaemia diagnosis. The actress, 42, who played Katy Harris in the ITV soap between 2002 and 2005, took to Instagram to update her followers on a hospital dash that took place two years ago. 'Not my usual post,' she began, 'But with it being National Blood Week I wanted to share something with you.' '2 years ago I was rushed into A&E, I was constantly exhausted, running on empty, struggling to breath, low mood, really struggling in my overall mental and physical health, and I just put it down to the fast pace of 'life'. 'Because in today's world you're expected to be able to juggle it all right? And the daily stresses of being a working mum, and spinning a million plates is blumming stressful… but what I didn't realise is that the reason I was feeling all of this is because I had an underlying health issue… chronic anaemia.' The Wild at Heart star continued: 'Which meant I was in desperate need of a blood transfusion (hence why I got rushed to hospital). 'It turned out that my haemoglobin levels were that dangerously low I needed 2 transfusions and I was kept in hospital for a few days so they could keep on eye on my levels.' She went on to thank staff at Salford Royal Hospital in Greater Manchester, saying she felt she was 'in the best hands' with an 'unbelievable' doctor in the emergency department. Lucy-Jo then stressed the importance of being a blood donor. 'So I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you who donate blood! What you do is truly amazing' she added. 'I know from the NHS that just one of your donations can save up to 3 lives…. Mine included. 'Blood donations save lives every day, they are needed in emergencies, during operations, childbirth, in the treatment of cancer and sickle cell disease, the list is endless 'So this is a thankyou to those selflessly giving blood that helped me and thousands of other people who really needed it. And did you know that almost 1 million new donors are needed by 2027 to give blood? The stats are crazy right?' Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers?
