Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson shares time she was rushed to hospital
The ITV actress said on Instagram: "Two years ago I was rushed into A&E, I was constantly exhausted, running on empty, struggling to breathe, low mood, really struggling in my overall mental and physical health, and I just put it down to the fast pace of 'life'.
"Because in today's world, you're expected to be able to juggle it all right? And the daily stresses of being a working mum, and spinning a million plates is blumming stressful….. but what I didn't realise is that the reason I was feeling all of this is because I had an underlying health issue…. 'Chronic Anaemia'"
The Coronation Street star, who played the role of Katy Harris from 2002 until 2005, according to IMDb, added that this "meant I was in desperate need of a blood transfusion (hence why I got rushed to hospital).

"It turned out that my haemoglobin levels were so dangerously low I needed two transfusions, and I was kept in hospital for a few days so they could keep an eye on my levels.
"The staff at Salford Royal Hospital were amazing, I really felt I was in the best hands, especially Dr Rob Jackson, he was unbelievable and I'll always be so grateful to him and his team in the A&E department.
"So I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you who donate blood! What you do is truly amazing."

Coronation Street fans slam obnoxious character on ITV show
Lou Michaelis, played by Farrel Hegarty, has been dubbed "nasty" and "rude" by viewers with many also criticising the "dire" writing of her character. Taking to the Reddit page for Coronation Street, one fan of the ITV show penned: "She is very unlikable and her behaviour has been obnoxious. "The writers must think they have our emotions in their bag and can easily manipulate our response to any character. "First she had a bad in your face barking personality and stole booze from the hair salon. "Now she has Gary on her side promoting a supposedly sympathetic person who is, wait for it, a victim." Many viewers agreed with this assesment, with one person writing: "Exactly... She has been nasty... Rude." A third user said: "The actress is fine but the writing for her character is dire. This is Corrie now, characters change personality like the wind which makes it really hard for viewers to care." However, some voiced support for her, with one fan telling the others: "I must admit since Mick went to prison she's somewhat grown on me. "Showing a vulnerable side as opposed to being bolshie all the time. "Although if she supports Mick after what he's done then she needs to go." Lou Michaelis was introduced to the show in February and has since made waves in Weatherfield. She is also the mother of Brody, Joanie and Shanice Michaelis.

A synopsis from Variety reads: "While the ambitious Cardinal Pole plots to secure control, he overlooks a humble court jester, Jane Foole." But can Jane's comedy save a nation from civil war?" Directed by Guy Jenkin (Outnumbered) the cast is led by Doctor Who star Karen Gillan as Mary Tudor. She stars alongside Patsy Ferran (Hot Milk, Miss Austen) as the jester, and Jim Broadbent (Harry Potter, Moulin Rouge) as a scheming cardinal. Inside Brooklyn's feud with David and Victoria as he snubs dad's knighthood
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have been at the centre of a feud with the Beckhams, with the aspiring chef snubbing his father's recent knighthood When David Beckham was revealed to be in the King's Birthday Honours List, his son, Brooklyn, was nowhere to be found on social media congratulating him. His other sons, Cruz and Romeo, took to their Instagram pages to share their pride for the football icon, with Cruz writing: "I'm so proud dad I love you. Sir David Beckham, has a nice ring to it." Romeo posted on his Stories: "So so proud of you." Victoria posted a loving snap of herself kissing her husband on his cheek, before gushing: "You've always been my knight in shining armour, but now it's official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! What an honour, I couldn't be prouder of you. "Your dedication to the things that matter most — your country, your work, your passion, and most of all, your family — has never wavered. The way you've touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us every day. But above all else, I'm so, so proud to call you mine. I love you so much." However, Brooklyn opted to post an advert for Pretzel Pita Chips half an hour the news was revealed. Not long after, he returned to his Instagram Stories to share a snap of his snack, which included whiskey, caviar, wine and his hot sauce. According to sources, David never told Brooklyn about his accolade and the former aspiring chef learned about the achievement through the media. A source for Brooklyn told Page Six he was thrilled his dad was finally receiving the honour, while a source quoted as someone close to his parents told the publication: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect." There had been rumours of a family feud for months, with fans noticing how Brooklyn and Nicola snubbed Victoria's birthday party for Coachella. A month later, Brooklyn and his socialite wife were absent from David's multiple lavish celebrations for his milestone 50th birthday, including the intimate dinner in Paris and the celebrity party in Notting Hill. Things heated up when he declared that he will "always choose" his wife Nicola in an Instagram post. The comment from Brooklyn comes after weeks of speculation over the state of his relationship with his parents and his brother Romeo Beckham. There has been plenty of talk of what sparked the falling out - with Romeo's relationship with ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull a big part of it. Brooklyn briefly dated Kim before he was married to Nicola and has apparently called her integrity into question. Brooklyn was said to be concerned about ex Kim's motives in dating his younger brother and wasn't sure she had his best interests at heart. Sources claimed that the rift between the pair was why Brooklyn and his Nicola were not present when David held a pre-birthday party. In recent days, it was reported that the hot sauce enthusiast told his famous parents he 'wants no contact' with them. Sources close to Brooklyn told Page Six that he was thrilled his dad was finally receiving the honour and had known it was so important. However, a separate source close to the Beckhams told the publication: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect." Yet a separate Brooklyn source denied the claim, saying: "This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honour being bestowed on Brooklyn's father."
