Fans thirst over Hemsworth brothers' group photo
Hemsworths, assemble. Liam Hemsworth has shared a glorious selfie with brothers Chris and Luke on Instagram as the Aussie trio celebrated the Marvel star's 42nd birthday. Chris, one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors thanks to his role as Thor in the MCU, is enjoying a holiday in Ibiza, Spain, surrounded by friends and family, with Liam uploading a sweet tribute as they spent some time on a boat. 'Happy birthday brother Chris! Thanks for always being such a wonderful legend. Never change,' Liam wrote. 'I hope I have abs like you when I grow up. Love you.' Indeed, Chris' abs, not to mention his biceps, are on full display in the family happy snap, which has attracted thousands of thirsty comments from fans. 'Mammamia,' one wrote. 'I'll take the abs, the boat invite, and maybe just 10% of the Hemsworth genetics,' another said. 'You animals,' actor Scott Eastwood chimed in. 'It's just not fair to all the other men on the planet,' another wrote. Meanwhile, Chris' wife of more than a decade, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, also shared a sweet message in honour of her husband. The model, who shares three children with Chris, is thought to be at the couple's home in Byron Bay after being photographed grocery shopping earlier this week. 'Happy birthday to my Rocky Balboa,' Pataky wrote alongside a video post with several photos. 'You're the best of the best.' Chris has been spending much of his time in the UK of late, with production on Marvel's hugely-anticipated Avengers film currently underway. He's set to reprise his role of Thor, which he debuted in 2011, alongside fellow MCU great Robert Downey Jr. in Avengers: Doomsday, which hits cinemas next year. Russo brothers Joe and Anthony are directing the movie and its follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars, the latter of which is set to be released in May 2027.

Luke Hemsworth comments on Chris Pratt 'Bromance' Luke Hemsworth has nothing but admiration for his The Terminal List: Dark Wolf co-star Chris Pratt. At the red carpet premiere of the Prime Video series in New York City on August 4, Hemsworth opened up about the camaraderie between the cast and praised Pratt. 'It's an honor to just stand next to [them],' Hemsworth told PEOPLE, referring to Pratt, Taylor Kitsch, and series creator Jack Carr. 'These guys are at the top of their game. They are my idols.' Hemsworth didn't hold back when it came to talking about Pratt specifically. Calling him 'a very giving actor,' the Westworld actor shared how collaborative and open Pratt is on set. 'He allows you all of the space — he's very collaborative… I'm gushing because he's just the most lovely human, he really is. It's disgusting,' he said. The two actors, along with Kitsch, developed a strong camaraderie on set, which Hemsworth described as 'a lot of bromance.' He also mentioned that Pratt feels like 'part of the family,' referencing their shared connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Pratt famously played Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Hemsworth made cameos in his brother Chris Hemsworth's Thor films. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel to The Terminal List. It follows Taylor Kitsch's character, Ben Edwards, as he transitions from a Navy SEAL to a CIA operative. Pratt reprises his role as James Reece, with Hemsworth joining the cast as Jules Landry. 'It's made for SEALS, it's made for the military, and I think we do it really well,' quipped Hemsworth. The show drops on Prime Video on August 27, 2025. Breathtaking Kimberley VR experience now showing in Freo
Fresh off the Great Kimberley Wilderness success at the WA Museum Boola Bardip earlier this year, the VR experience is making its way to the port city. The 35-minute immersive VR experience narrated by Luke Hemsworth, older brother to fellow Hollywood stars Chris and Liam, and produced by award-winning WA filmmaker Briege Whitehead will show at the WA Maritime Museum for three weeks from this weekend. In a custom-built gallery, with surround sound and large-scale digital projections across all wall surfaces, audiences will have a 360-degree view of some of the planet's most ancient landscapes in a guided tour of places that few outside the traditional owners have ever seen in person. Your local paper, whenever you want it. Whitehead said that included transporting viewers over the edge of waterfalls, across stunning coastlines and into the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. 'There are so many locations I know, or as far as we've been told, that we're the first people to capture them on camera,' Whitehead said. The film was shot and produced in 8K format using drones capable of capturing 3D footage and with Dolby Atmos sound. 'I call it story-living, rather than the storytelling,' Whitehead said. 'That's what the ability of 360 degrees in a VR headset provides, because everywhere you look, it's like you're literally standing there, or flying over the waterfalls or hanging out of the helicopter with Luke next to you.' Fremantle Labor MP and Creative Industries Minister Simone McGurk said the exhibition was leading the way in digital immersive storytelling by combining technology with authentic storytelling. 'We are proud to extend this experience to the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, supporting an initiative that highlights WA's rich cultural heritage, deep Indigenous knowledge, and awe-inspiring landscapes,' she said.

Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth emerged in Hollywood after playing Thor for the first time in the 2011 'Thor' movie. It was a role that he would continue to play in the following years and the one he would become widely associated with throughout his career. Hemsworth was born on August 11, 1983 in Melbourne, Australia, to parents Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. He has two brothers, Liam and Luke Hemsworth who are also actors. In 2004, Hemsworth auditioned to play Robbie Hunter in the Australian soap opera 'Home and Away' but ultimately got cast as Kim Hyde. He played the character from 2004 to 2007. While in Australia, he also competed on 'Dancing with the Stars.' 'Star Trek' was the first Hollywood movie Hemsworth acted in. A few years later, in 2011, he scored his big break with 'Thor,' although he originally was passed on for the role. Hemsworth has said that his brother Liam initially made it further in the audition process. Ultimately, Chris was brought back to read for the role and was offered the part he would go on to play for more than 10 years. Hemsworth played Thor in his own feature films, 'Thor: The Dark World,' 'Thor: Ragnarok' and the 2022 movie "Thor: Love and Thunder." He also played Thor in all the Avengers movies alongside his fellow superhero actors Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner. He played Thor in "The Avengers," 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' 'Avengers: Infinity War' and the Avengers epic finale 'Avengers: Endgame.' Some other movies starring Hemsworth are 'Red Dawn,' 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' 'Rush,' 'Blackhat,' 'Vacation,' 'In the Heart of the Sea,' 'The Huntsman: Winter's War,' 'Ghostbusters,' 'Men in Black: International,' 'Extraction' and 'Spiderhead.' Hemsworth met his now wife Elsa Pataky through talent agent William Ward in early 2010 and went public in September of that year. The two tied the knot just a few months later, in December. They now have three children together, a daughter named India Rose and twin boys Tristan and Sasha.
