Ravens schedule: Ranking the 14 quarterbacks Baltimore will face in 2025

Ravens schedule: Ranking the 14 quarterbacks Baltimore will face in 2025 Baltimore has a loaded slate of games in 2025 and we're ranking the 14 quarterbacks on the Ravens schedule The Ravens' first-place finish in the AFC North will give John Harbaugh's team an even more demanding schedule in 2025. The slate of games will be one of the league's most challenging. They will face the gauntlet of juggernauts in the NFC North and AFC East and the division winners in the AFC West, NFC West, and AFC South. Baltimore's 2025 schedule is loaded, and we're ranking the 14 quarterbacks the Ravens will face. 1. Patrick Mahomes: Chiefs Last season, after sitting out one game, Mahomes failed to top 4,000 passing yards for the first time in his career while matching his seven-year low of 26 passing touchdowns (set in a season when he played just 14 games). His supporting cast needs to produce, but he's still the top guy. 2. Josh Allen: Bills In the closest race since Matt Ryan beat out Tom Brady in 2016, Josh Allen secured more votes than Baltimore Ravens' two-time winner Lamar Jackson for the Most Valuable Player award. 3. Joe Burrow: Bengals Despite battling lingering injuries, Burrow had an MVP-like 2024 season with a 71 percent completion rate (460 of 652 attempts), 4,918 passing yards, and a 43:9 TD: INT ratio. 4. Matthew Stafford: Rams Stafford had a passer rating of 93.7 with 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 16 games in 2024. 5. C.J. Stroud: Texans Stroud completed 19 of 28 passes for 245 yards without a touchdown or an interception in Houston's 23-14 divisional-round loss to Kansas City. Last season, Stroud completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 3,727 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. 6. Tua Tagovailoa Tagovailoa has a passer rating of 101.2 with 7491 yards, 48 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions in 28 games since 2023, but he's been unable to get Miami over the playoffs hump. 7. Jared Goff: Lions Goff had a passer rating of 111.8 with 4,629 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 17 games in 2024. He was selected to play in his fourth Pro Bowl. 8. Jordan Love: Packers Love will enter the offseason looking to get healthy after enduring a 2024 season with upper- and lower-body injuries. Last season, Love threw for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, with a 63.1% completion rate. He also rushed 25 times for 83 yards and one touchdown. 9. Drake Maye Patriots As a rookie, Maye logged 2,276 passing yards (175.1 per game) with a 66.6% completion percentage (225-of-338), while throwing for 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. In addition, he picked up 421 rushing yards on 54 carries with two touchdowns, averaging 32.4 yards per game. New England added more weapons, and Will Campbell was drafted along the offensive line. 10. Caleb Williams: Bears The No. 1 overall pick in 2024, Williams threw for 3,541 yards passing and 20 touchdowns, six interceptions, while also rushing for 489 yards. That made Williams one of only four rookies in NFL history to amass 4,000 or more total yards with fewer than 10 interceptions. Williams was sacked an NFL-most 68 times, which is tied for the third-highest total in a single season ever. 11. Justin Fields: Jets Fields went 4-2 as a starter last season in place of the injured Russell Wilson with the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be the starting quarterback again, this time in New York, with the Jets following the departure of Aaron Rodgers. 12. J.J. McCarthy: Vikings The former No. 10 overall pick will replace Sam Darnold in 2025, and there will be high expectations after Minnesota went 14-3 last season. McCarthy flashed potential in his one preseason game last year, completing 64.7% of his passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception before it was revealed that the quarterback suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee. McCarthy was shut down for his entire rookie season. 13. Joe Flacco: Browns Flacco returns to Cleveland, where he won the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award in 2023. Flacco joins a quarterback room with Deshaun Watson, who is rehabbing after retearing his right Achilles tendon and could miss most of the 2025 season, and Kenny Pickett, who was traded to Cleveland from Philadelphia. The Browns added Dillion Gabriel (third round) and Shedeur Sanders (5th-round) in the draft. 14. Mason Rudolph: Steelers Pittsburgh would still potentially be this low if they had Aaron Rodgers on the roster. Rudolph is the current starter, appearing in 29 career games, with 18 starts. He has completed 437 of 686 passes, 63.7%, for 4,615 yards and 28 touchdowns. In 2024, he appeared in eight games for the Titans, starting five. He completed 146 of 228 passes, 64%, for 1,530 yards and nine touchdowns in his one season in Tennessee. With the Steelers, he started 13 of 21 games, completing 291 of 458 passes, 63.5%, for 3,085 yards and 19 touchdowns.

When the final whistle blew, the Fever lost by a final score of 90-88. On the final possession of the game, Clark appeared to get fouled. However, no call was made, and Indiana lost the game. There has been strong reaction following the no-call. Stephanie White, the Fever's head coach, had some strong words for the referees. Clark has also spoken out about not being given the call. "You know, I felt like (Boston) got (fouled), had one going to the rim. (Bonner's non-call) was crazy. And in Lexie's, I felt like, equally, you know, we talked about coming into the path. And it was an offensive player, varying into the defensive player's path. So, I mean, it is what it is. We have to be able to play through it. But at the same time, I feel like it's really disrespectful." That tells a clear story about how Indiana feels about the referees. Clark also spoke out about the no-call and shared her immediate reaction to it. "I haven't watched it yet, but you know, we used our reset timeout, ran a similar play to what we did the other night when we played Atlanta here," Clark said. "I don't know. I have to go back and watch." Clark scored 18 points on 6-for-18 shooting, including 2-for-11 from the three-point line. She also dished out 10 assists and grabbed five rebounds, but her 10 turnovers were harmful to the team's chances. On the other side of the court, Jonquel Jones led New York with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Sabrina Ionescu scored 23 points. Breanna Stewart put up 16 points and seven rebounds. Looking ahead, Clark and the Fever will face off against the Washington Mystics on the road on Wednesday, May 28. They will look to get in the win column and above .500. 5 Most Shocking NFL Scandals That Forever Changed the League

The New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts in the 2015 AFC Championship, the game remembered for being Deflategate. Controversy is nothing new for the NFL. Some scandals have rocked the league away from the field, leading to long-term structural changes. From secret tapes to deflated footballs to off-field criminal cases, here are five of the most notorious NFL scandals. 5. Jon Gruden's Email Controversy (2021) Indiana Hoosiers, Jon Gruden In 2021, Jon Gruden resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after old emails surfaced. Messages from 2011-2018 included racist, sexist and homophobic language, along with criticism of Commissioner Roger Goodell and player protests. Once the emails became public, Gruden resigned and was removed from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ring of Honor. He later sued the NFL, claiming they leaked the emails to force him out. He served 21 months in federal prison and received an indefinite suspension from the NFL. Vick later returned to the league and earned Comeback Player of the Year honors in 2010. 3. Deflategate (2015) Credit: Robert Deutsch-Imagn Images The New England Patriots were accused of deflating footballs to gain an advantage during the 2014 AFC Championship game. Quarterback Tom Brady received a four-game suspension, the team was fined $1 million, and they lost two draft picks. Despite the controversy, they went on to win Super Bowl XLIX that season. Bountygate (2012) Credit: John David Mercer-Imagn Images The New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal emerged in 2012 when it was revealed players were paid to injure opponents. The punishment was severe: head coach Sean Payton was suspended for the entire season. Several players and staff members received suspensions as well. The incident served as a wake-up call about the lengths teams would go to win and how far some coaches would push boundaries. 1. Spygate (2007) NFL Football: New England Patriots at New York Giants 'Spygate' rocked the NFL in 2007 when the Patriots were caught secretly recording the New York Jets' defensive signals from an unauthorized location. The fallout included a $500,000 fine for head coach Bill Belichick, a $250,000 fine for the team, and the loss of a first-round draft pick. The NFL subsequently destroyed the tapes, raising questions about the extent of the cheating. Also Read:: Five living sports legends with the most expensive autographed cards

Ranking the Seahawks' 2025 home games easiest to hardest

Ranking the Seahawks' 2025 home games easiest to hardest The NFL released its 2025 season schedule on Wednesday evening in a league-wide coordinated event. The Seattle Seahawks will play eight home contests, having the road-game (nine) disadvantage this year. Having analyzed the upcoming schedule, we've ranked the Seahawks' eight home games easiest to hardest. New Orleans Saints (Week 3) The New Orleans Saints are early favorites for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Starting quarterback Derek Carr recently announced his retirement due to a shoulder injury. The Saints will be deciding between Tyler Shough, Jake Haener, and Spencer Rattler at quarterback. Getting them early in the schedule should be a gift-wrapped victory. Indianapolis Colts (Week 15) The Indianapolis Colts are hosting an uninspiring battle at quarterback this offseason. Will the Seahawks see Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones in Week 15? Richardson is creeping towards bust territory, so the Seahawks should like their chances either way. Arizona Cardinals (Week 10) The Seahawks have dominated the Arizona Cardinals in recent memory, sweeping the regular-season series last year. The Cardinals could be sneaky-good this season, so Mike Macdonald must have a good plan in place to continue asserting that dominance. Houston Texans (Week 7) The Houston Texans are a tricky inter-conference opponent. They've qualified for the postseason in consecutive seasons, but have failed to go from good-to-great. Still, Macdonald's defense will be in for a tough assignment against franchise quarterback CJ Stroud. Minnesota Vikings (Week 13) The Minnesota Vikings were dominant last season, but Seahawks QB Sam Darnold will be fired up for this #RevengeGame opportunity. Making the switch from Darnold to J.J. McCarthy makes the Vikings unpredictable, but they likely won't be as effective as they were last season. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Week 5) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished third in yards (399.5/game) fourth in scoring (29.5) last season. Baker Mayfield enjoyed an MVP-like season at quarterback. The Buccaneers lost their offensive coordinator Liam Coen to the Jacksonville Jaguars, so we'll see if Mayfield can sustain that success under a third play caller in as many campaigns. San Francisco 49ers (Week 1) The Seahawks open the season against the San Francisco 49ers at Lumen Field in Week 1. Macdonald's squad defeated the 49ers on the road in 2024, but have lost three consecutive home contests to the Bay-area based club. Defeating San Francisco to begin the campaign would represent a terrific start. Los Angeles Rams (Week 16) The NFC West could partially be decided in Week 16. Defeating the Rams at home would greatly increase the Seahawks' chances of winning the division title. The Seahawks were defeated 26-20 by the Rams in overtime at Lumen Field in 2024.

Why Charles Barkley thinks the NBA is screwing Nikola Jokic

This has not been Nikola Jokic's finest hour, but according to Charles Barkley, the NBA has not done the Nuggets superstar any favors. The three-time MVP has struggled over the last three games, including Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Thunder, which tied their second-round playoff series 2-2. But Barkley, the TNT analyst, feels the NBA did Denver dirty by scheduling them for a Sunday afternoon game (1:30 p.m. MST) after they played Friday night (8 p.m. MST). AP 'I thought what the NBA did to [the Nuggets] was unfair,' Barkley said on the air Sunday, as captured by Awful Announcing. 'Making them play late Friday night, then an early afternoon game. I thought that was unfair, I truly believe that.' Advertisement Kenny Smith interjected to say both teams had to deal with the same situation. 'Yeah, but [the Thunder] have more depth. OKC got 12 players,' Barkley replied. 'Denver has never addressed their backup center situation or their bench. I think that's one of the things that hurt them last year, because he gave out of gas last year against Rudy [Gobert] and big KAT [Karl-Anthony Towns]. So I don't think it's fair to blame everything on the Joker, but he has not played well and I think he's wearing down.' 4 Charles Barkley discussing Nikola Jokic on TNT on May 11, 2025. X/TNT Barkley was referencing the Nuggets' seven-game, second-round loss to the Timberwolves in last year's playoffs. Advertisement Jokic, 30, shot just 7-for-22, including 2-for-8 from deep, in Denver's 92-87 loss on Sunday, though he still finished with 27 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. He made just 8 of 25 shots in the Nuggets' Game 3 overtime win and was 6 of 16 in their Game 2 loss. That came after Jokic was 15-for-29 with 42 points and 22 rebounds as Denver stole Game 1 on the road. 4 Charles Barkley (r.) discusses Nikola Jokic alongside Kenny Smith (second from r.), Ernie Johnson (second from l.) and Jalen Rose (l.) on May 11, 2025. X/TNT Advertisement Jokic had another MVP-like regular season, averaging a triple-double for the first time in his career and setting career-highs with averages of 29.6 points and 10.2 assists, adding 12.7 rebounds per game. He also shot a career-best 41.7 percent from 3-point range. During Denver's seven-game, first-round win over the Clippers, Jokic shot 50 percent from the field and averaged 24 points, 11.6 rebounds and 10.1 assists. Game 5 is back in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night.
