BJP slams Gehlot for remarks on RSS at Barmer rally
Jaipur: Senior BJP members, including party state president Madan Rathore, former state president Satish Poonia and former leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, launched a counteroffensive against former Congress CM Ashok Gehlot over his statements on the RSS in a public rally in Barmer on Monday. Madan Rathore, reacting to Gehlot's claim that RSS does not respect the national flag, said, "Gehlot's statement shows his ignorance. During the earlier period, hoisting the national flag was allowed only on govt buildings. Since the Supreme Court verdict in the Jindal case, the national flag is hoisted at RSS headquarters too. Congress is distorting the facts to attack nationalist institutions." Poonia said, "The party that once demanded proof (of surgical strikes) from the Indian Army is now holding public meetings to question national security operations. Whenever the country unites in the face of adversity, Congress plays petty politics. This dual character is in Congress DNA, which is why it stands rejected across the nation." Rajendra Rathore highlighted what he called Congress's "double standards" by referencing a 2013 incident during the UPA government's tenure. He pointed out that when Pakistani soldiers beheaded an Indian soldier on January 8, 2013, the then-Congress government neither conducted retaliatory strikes nor took any punitive action.

Opposition should show unity for India: Rajasthan BJP chief
Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore said on Monday that the Indian Army has made a huge attack on the terrorists, and the opposition should show unity for the country in these testing times. 'Along with the terrorists, the training centres of terrorism, and the protectors of the terrorists have also been destroyed. The top leadership of the country has taught a lesson to the terrorists due to Operation Sindoor against those who wipe the vermilion of our sisters. In such a situation, the opposition should show unity for the nation,' said Madan Rathore while talking to journalists during his stay in Pali. He said that when there is tension between two countries, the entire nation should come together and support the government, but the opposition is finding faults even at such a time. 'This is not right for any country. Those who question the nation's policies have also taken an oath of secrecy, and our top leadership has also taken an oath of secrecy. In such a situation, the opposition should not ask questions,' he said. Rathore said that after the success of Operation Sindoor, Tiranga Yatra is being taken out to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism in the country. 'Tiranga Yatra is being taken out across the country along with village-chaupal, mandal, district, division and state. Tiranga Yatra is not a journey of any particular party but of the entire countrymen, the common man. This yatra is getting huge support at all places in the state. The common man is participating enthusiastically,' he claimed. Earlier, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot questioned the Central government over its silence on US President Donald Trump's claims of mediation between India and Pakistan following Operation Sindoor.

Rajasthan BJP leaders in Gujarat to attend training camp; Congress questions need
All the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in Rajasthan, including the Cabinet members, MPs and MLAs, have left for Kevadia in Gujarat to attend a three-day training camp on good governance. The camp will apparently highlight the 'Gujarat model' for stability and administrative efficiency. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, both the Deputy Chief Ministers and the ruling party's organisational leaders, including State president Madan Rathore, will be attending the closed-door sessions covering a wide range of subjects. The absence of Ministers and BJP leaders from the State till May 7 may temporarily pause routine works here. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president J.P. Nadda, BJP national general secretary B.L. Santhosh and Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Bhupender Yadav are likely to address the camp. Since the BJP has been in power in Gujarat continuously since 1995, the governance model's replication will be high on the camp's agenda. According to the party sources, the training sessions will cover the subjects such as the fundamentals of good governance, internal discipline and communication, public engagement strategies, understanding legislative procedures and effective dissemination of the government's schemes. The BJP office-bearers will also be trained in the management for the upcoming panchayat and urban local body elections. Senior leaders are likely to apprise the participants of the strategies to maintain strong grassroots presence and get inputs about the performance of Ministers and the government. CM Mr. Sharma stopped over in Vadodara on the way to Kevadia and attended a felicitation ceremony organised by the Rajasthani community in the town. The camp was inaugurated at the tent city located near the Statue of Unity in Kevadia on Monday evening. The Opposition Congress has questioned the need for organising the training camp after the completion of one-and-a-half years of the BJP government in the State. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tika Ram Jully asked if an 'untrained government' was running Rajasthan and it would henceforth be controlled directly from Gujarat. Veteran Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the BJP high command might have felt that the State government had failed and needed training. 'What will be there in this training that cannot be done in Rajasthan? When the people of the State are suffering with the lack of water and power in summer, the entire BJP government is in Gujarat for fun and frolic,' Mr. Gehlot said in a post on X. (EOM)

BJP plans expansion to align with new dists
Jaipur: BJP's state president Madan Rathore Wednesday signalled a major expansion of the party's organisational structure now that eight new districts had been created in Rajasthan. The number of BJP's district units is expected to increase from 44 to between 55 and 58, aligning with the state's recent administrative reconfiguration from 33 to 41 districts. Rathore discussed the proposed changes in a meeting with BJP's national general secretary BL Santosh in Delhi on Wednesday. "The state unit will soon propose 10–13 new organisational districts to the party's central committee for approval," Rathore said, adding that the restructuring is expected to be completed within a month. The new districts are Beawar, Balotra, Deeg, Didwana-Kuchaman, Dudu, Kotputli-Behror, Khairthal-Tijara, Phalodi, and Salumber. The saffron party's expansion is also seen as preparation for the upcoming municipal elections . "Our structure differs from that of the Congress, which has already increased its units from 42 to 50. We aim to establish one organisational district for every 3–4 assembly constituencies. The focus remains on how effectively district presidents and their teams can serve the people," Rathore explained. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trade Bitcoin & Ethereum – No Wallet Needed!
