During the Tiranga rally, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said, 'We have sent a message to the whole world that India is a proud nation. We want peace, but we are ready to fight battles to maintain that peace...If there is any terrorist activity, then Pakistan's army and economy will suffer...'
BJP state president Madan Rathore added that the rally reflects the spirit of patriotism and praises India's rise as the world's fourth-largest economy.
'This is the enthusiasm for patriotism. The people, the army, and the old people are all together here...It is a matter of pride for us. Our leadership is trying to empower the people...We have become the 4th largest economy; soon we will become the 3rd largest economy,' Madan Rathore said.
Earlier on Sunday, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) also organised a 'Tiranga Yatra' in Trichy to honour the valour and bravery of the armed forces for Operation Sindoor.
The Tiranga Yatra drew widespread public attention, covering major roads and landmarks across Agartala. Residents lined the streets to cheer and wave flags, creating a vibrant and emotional atmosphere.
The yatra is part of a broader nationwide campaign to honour the armed forces and reaffirm national resolve in the wake of the tragic terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the ghastly April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack that claimed 26 civilian lives, after which Pakistan resorted to shelling on civilian and military establishments here. (ANI)

Earlier during the campaign, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav targeted the Election Commission of India and BJP alleging a "collusion" between both sides to steal the voting rights of common people. Tejashwi Yadav was addressing the people during Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikaar Yatra in Bihar's Nawada. He said that the names of poor people have been removed from the voter list, whereas those who are alive are declared dead. Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the gathering during his Voter Adhikaar Yatra in Nawada, alleged that PM Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah and ECI of snatching the fundamental rights from the people. "There are lakhs of people in Bihar who voted and their names were deleted from the voter list. There is a partnership going on between the Election Commission and the BJP. They are together stealing votes. This is your right and the Constitution gives you this. You fight for this, work hard and Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and the Election Commission are snatching it from you. Indias Rs 62,000 Crore Indigenous Fighter Jet Push: Govt Clears Deal To Buy 97 LCA Tejas Mark 1A Combat Jets
In a major boost to indigenous defence manufacturing, the Government of India on Tuesday approved the purchase of 97 more LCA Tejas Mark 1A fighter jets for the Indian Air Force. This decision comes at a time when the Air Force is phasing out its ageing MiG-21 fleet and playing a key role in large-scale military exercises like Operation Sindoor. The clearance was given during a high-level government meeting and will now allow Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to begin production, defence officials told ANI. Second Big Order for Tejas Jets This is the second major order for Tejas Mark 1A aircraft. The first order for 83 jets was placed a few years ago at a cost of around Rs 48,000 crore. Together, these jets will form a crucial part of the Air Force's future fleet as the MiG-21s are finally being retired in the coming weeks. PM Modi's Personal Support Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been a key supporter of HAL and India's defence manufacturing capabilities. He even flew in a trainer version of the Tejas — becoming the first Indian Prime Minister ever to fly in a combat aircraft. The idea of acquiring 97 more jets was first shared by former Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, during his visit to Spain. Vikarabad district will be renamed Anantagiri when BJP comes to power, says party chief
BJP Telangana president and former MLC N. Ramchander Rao on Tuesday claimed that the party would rename Vikarabad districtto Anantagiri once it comes to power in the next Assembly elections. He also expressed confidence that the BJP is poised to win at least three Assembly seats in the district. During his ongoing tour of Vikarabad, Mr. Rao addressed party cadres at various locations and asserted that the BJP would also secure victory in the Vikarabad municipality elections in the upcoming local body polls. 'No power can stop the BJP from winning the next elections,' he declared, urging workers to campaign vigorously by highlighting the Centre's financial support to Telangana under various schemes and the need for a 'double engine' government. He accused the Congress government of failing to implement its promised guarantees, stating that the past 20 months had shown it to be no different from the BRS regime. 'People are now looking to the BJP with hope,' he said. Mr. Rao criticized the loan waiver scheme, Rythu Bharosa financial aid and fertilizer supply as poorly implemented, and called the Indiramma housing scheme a 'big flop', with very few beneficiaries. He alleged that only those aligned with the ruling party were being selected, citing that out of 14,000 applications, only 73 were approved. He demanded that all eligible poor be considered under the scheme. On the issue of reservations, Mr. Rao reiterated the BJP's opposition to including Muslims under political reservations for Backward Classes (BCs). He argued that the minority community already benefits under BC-B, BC-E, and EWS categories, and that religion-based political reservations are inappropriate, though acceptable in education and employment. Ramanthapur Bandh Over Electrocution Tragedy In a separate development, BJP leaders led by former MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar enforced a bandh in Ramanthapur, demanding ₹50 lakh ex gratia and a job in the power sector for the families of those who died due to electrocution during a Janmashtami procession on Sunday. Hypocrisy on BC Reservations BJP spokesperson N.V. Subash slammed Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for his 'hollow claims' of doing justice to BCs, particularly in welcoming Justice Sudarshan Reddy, the INDIA bloc's Vice-Presidential nominee, over the NDA's OBC candidate Radhakrishna. He called the move 'misleading and laughable', asserting that the Congress and its allies lack moral authority to speak on BC justice.
