Pune: The Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSEC) announced the results for the Teacher Eligibility and Intelligence Test (TAIT-2025) on August 18. The exam, held online from May 27 to 30 and June 2 to 5, 2025, took place across 60 centres in 26 districts of Maharashtra. A total of 17,098 candidates appeared for the test, including 15,756 from and 1,342 from TAIT results of 6,320 candidates have been withheld due to their failure to submit professional qualification certificates within prescribed one-month deadline. The entrance eligibility test for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Examination Council on December 7 in Pune. Students studying in or having passed class 7 will be able to appear for this exam. The deadline for submitting applications is October 15. According to a press release by State Examination Council Commissioner Anuradha Oak, the student should be over 11.5 half years old and not more than 13 years old on July 1, 2026 to be eligible. The exam brochure, application form, and a set of previous years question papers can be ordered from RIMC online or in person by paying a fee. Subjects for the test will be Mathematics, General Knowledge and English after which an interview will be conducted.

The Maharashtra State Council Of Examination has declared results of the Teacher Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT) on Monday, with results of 6,320 candidates being put on hold over non-submission of passing certificates of professional examinations like Bachelor of Education ( or Diploma In Elementary Education ( TAIT is a qualifying eligibility test to become eligible to apply for various teaching posts in Maharashtra. Candidates can download their results on till August 31. The TAIT Examination 2025 was organized online by the Maharashtra State Examination Council from May 27 to 30 and from June 2 to 5 at a total of 60 examination centers in 26 districts of the state. The exam was conducted in three sessions per day for 8 days through the IBPS institute appointed by the government. A total of 2,28,808 candidates had registered for the said examination, out of which a total of 2,11,308 had appeared for it. As per rules for applicants who have not previously passed professional courses, it is mandatory for candidates to submit the mark sheet or other valid certificate of passing the professional qualification to the Maharashtra State Examination Council within a maximum period of 1 month from the date of passing the said professional examination. Only after this certificate is submitted their results can be declared. A total of 17,098 candidates, including 15,756 who had appeared for and 1,342 of who had appeared for undertook the exam. The Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSEC) declared the results of the exam on Monday after candidates submitted documents proving they cleared their professional qualifying examinations. The results of 6,320 candidates, however, have been put on hold, said Anuradha Oak, commissioner of MSEC.
