Ashley Ortega, Elle Villanueva, Derrick Monasterio to star in upcoming series 'My Sister's Game'
Ashley Ortega, Elle Villanueva, and Derrick Monasterio are set to star in upcoming GMA Prime series "My Sister's Game." According to the story conference for the show, "My Sister's Game" is a psychological thriller revolving around two half-sisters: Vanessa (Elle) and Angel (Ashley). Other cast members include Pinky Amador, Ricardo Cepeda, Thea Tolentino, Althea Ablan, Cai Cortez, and content creator Fonz. The story revolves around Vanessa, who is a lawyer, a mother, and a wife to Marco (Derrick). Her life starts to unravel when her younger sister, Angel, begins to live with her family and manipulates everyone around them. "My Sister's Game" is Elle and Derrick's first project together as lead stars on GMA Prime. The real-life couple previously starred in GMA Afternoon Prime series "Makiling" and "Return to Paradise." The series, meanwhile, is Ashley's first regular show since her exit from the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." She had a brief guest appearance in "Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila" with her PBB duo AC Bonifacio shortly after leaving Bahay ni Kuya. Ashley previously starred in GMA Prime series "Hearts on Ice" in 2023 as the main character Ponggay, a figure skater with a disability. Thea Tolentino marks 29th birthday with retro-chic photo shoot
Thea Tolentino celebrated her 29th birthday in style, treating fans to a retro-inspired editorial photoshoot. On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared snaps of herself dressed in a black blazer, patterned tights, and a bold red lipstick. In some of the shots, Thea could be seen holding a newspaper that reads "On showbiz break." "Emz lang. Nag-break lang for a birthday shoot. Bawal mag-pahinga!" Thea wrote in the caption. "I'm part of a new show btw!" she said. Thea recently appeared in "Binibining Marikit" starring Herlene Budol, Tony Labrusca, Kevin Dasom, and Pokwang. Teejay Marquez inks contract with Sparkle, dreams to be part of a Kapuso fantaserye
Teejay Marquez is now officially a Sparkle artist! His contract signing happened on Tuesday at the GMA Network boardroom. Present were GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Talent Development and Management First Vice President Joy Marcelo; ALV Talent Circuit CEO and Teejay's co-manager Arnold Vegafria; and Senior Manager Jan Navarro. Following the signing, Teejay told GMA News Online, 'Definitely, I'm so happy.' 'Alam naman niyong lahat na lagi akong nasa GMA and dito naman talaga ako nagsimula sa 'Walang Tulugan' pa,' he said. 'To be able na maka-sign ako sa Sparkle, sobrang nakakataba ng puso kasi tagal ko na rin siyang hinintay and grabe, dito naman ako lagi, and ang saya saya ko lang na finally, I'm part of [the] GMA family and mayroon akong matatawag na bahay, may makakasama, at may network na 'ko.' Teejay's dream project is to be part of a GMA fantaserye. 'Gusto ko mag-costume, mahilig ako sa mga character na pwede akong—you know, imagination kung ano 'yung character na 'yon,' he said. 'Hopefully, makapag-superhero din ako o kaya mga action-packed,' he added. 'Kahit ano namang ibigay, alam ko na I'll do my best para 'di sila mabigo or mabigay ko 'yung hinahanap nila.' Teejay is best known for his roles in 'Makiling,' 'Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss,' and 'Ben X Jim.'
