Taylor Swift and Oasis tribute acts among Gorey Market House Festival highlights in July

The festival promises local talent and headline acts, family friendly events, plus the return of the annual Making Music Busking Competition, all set against the backdrop of Gorey's bustling town centre. Philip Knight, Gorey & Kilmuckridge District Manager shared his excitement for the festivals return this July. 'It's a wonderful celebration of local music, culture and community spirit, right here in the heart of Gorey. 'I'd like to sincerely thank the festival committee and volunteers for their tremendous dedication and hard work putting together such a fantastic programme again this year. Events like this are what make Gorey such a vibrant and welcoming place to live and visit.' Cllr Donal Kenny, cathaoirelach of Gorey and Kilmuckridge Municipal District also praised the committee for their 'tireless efforts'. "The Gorey Market House Festival is a real highlight of the summer for families and visitors alike. It brings people together, supports local businesses and showcases the wonderful talent we have in our area,' Cllr Donal Kenny said. Visitors can expect a jam packed schedule of entertainment and events, including free live music on the Main Street all weekend with artists including The Swift Show (Taylor Swift Tribute), Live Forever (Oasis Tribute), and Fairytale of The Pogues (Pogues Tribute) to name a few. Gorey Market House Festival 2025 will take place the weekend of the July 18, 19 and 20 with music, markets and events suitable for the whole family.
