Makkah police arrest a man for posting fake Hajj campaign ads on social media
Saudi Gazette report Makkah — The Makkah Region Police arrested a Saudi citizen for publishing fake and misleading Hajj campaign advertisements on social media. The advertisement included offering housing and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites with the intent of defrauding them. The citizen was referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal action against him. The Public Security called on citizens and expatriates to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions and to report any violations by calling the number 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and the number 999 in the rest of the regions across the Kingdom.

Bangladeshi man arrested after fatal knife and acid attack on Eid in Makkah
A Bangladeshi national has been arrested in Makkah Province for allegedly attacking his wife with a knife and acid on Eidul Fitr, which resulted in her death and the death of another woman, with several others injured, Saudi authorities confirmed. Yemeni man and woman arrested for misusing children for begging in Makkah
Saudi Gazette report MAKKAH — A Yemeni man and woman were arrested for exploiting six children to beg in Makkah. Cases were filed against them for violation of the provisions of the Anti-Human Trafficking Law. The arrests were made as part of the ongoing security campaign to monitor and apprehend beggars, carried out by the Makkah Region Police, in coordination with the General Department for Community Security and Combating Human Trafficking. Makkah police said that the Yemenis were found misusing six children of their same nationality to beg in public squares and roads. Legal action was taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution. The security authorities initiated measures to provide the necessary humanitarian services to the abused children.
