"NDA govt touched this target in 2025...": RLD leader Malook Nagar in India becoming 4th largest economy
New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Malook Nagar on Sunday congratulated the NDA government on India becoming the world's fourth-largest economy. He noted that this achievement is historic and a testament to the government's economic policies. The RLD leader mentioned that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had projected India to reach this stage by 2040. However, under the NDA government's leadership, India has achieved this milestone ahead of schedule, in 2025. 'This month has been historic in both matters - country's financial power and combatting terrorism... While former PM Manmohan Singh stated 2040 in the Parliament for this stage, NDA government touched this target in 2025...,' he said. NITI Aayog CEO, BVR Subrahmanyam, announced that India has become the world's fourth-largest economy, surpassing Japan, based on data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). According to the IMF's April edition of the World Economic Outlook report, the nominal GDP for fiscal 2026 is expected to reach around USD 4,187.017 billion. This is marginally more than the likely GDP of Japan, which is estimated at USD 4,186.431 billion. Nagar also highlighted that the month has been significant in combating terrorism. He praised the government's efforts to project India's national consensus and firm stance on combating terrorism in all its forms. He said that misdeeds of Pakistan would be exposed in front of European countries and Pakistan would be left nowhere. Malook Nagar said, 'Today group of parliamentarians going abroad are set to visit very important countries. UK and European Union together in itself is a superpower, and every place including US has its origin from there. People of Pakistan live in the UK. People from our country live in huge numbers. An opinion will be built, and all the misdeeds of Pakistan will be exposed. People of entire world will come to know about this and Pakistan will be left nowhere. Pakistan will break into several parts. Pakistan will face famine, and India will emerge will rise swiftly.' He further said that it has been cleared in front of the world that if innocent Indians would be target of a terror attack then India would hit going inside their house. Earlier Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who is a part of a multi-party delegation to European countries, on Sunday called for global accountability and a global alliance against terrorism while highlighting Pakistan's involvement in terror activities. Speaking with ANI, Priyanka Chaturvedi said, 'There should be a zero tolerance against terrorism and there should also be global accountability and a global alliance against terrorism.' Slamming Pakistan for being involved in the terror attack, she highlighted that terrorist groups like Al Qaida and Jaish-e-Mohammad originated from the country. 'All roots of terrorism are coming from Pakistan. Pakistan has become a global terror hub. It exports terrorists not just in our country but also in other countries. America or Europe should not forget that Al Qaida, Jaish-e-Mohammad and other terror groups are found there (Pakistan),' she said. 'Those who are empowering Pakistan financially should see where the money is being used... It is time for the entire world to be aware and call Pakistan out for what it is,' she said. Chaturvedi is part of the delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, which will visit the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy and Denmark. Other members of the delegation include Daggubati Purandeswari (BJP), Ghulam Ali Khatana, Amar Singh (Congress), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), M J Akbar, and Ambassador Pankaj Saran. (ANI)

"It is about the nation, not about any party": RLD's Malook Nagar on row over all-party delegation
New Delhi [India], May 19 (ANI): Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Malook Nagar on Monday said that Congress MP Jairam Ramesh's recent statement on the all-party parliamentary delegation tasked with presenting India's firm stance against terrorism following Operation Sindoor and stated that it is about the nation, not about any party. Pointing out that some Congress leaders were saying that no delegation should go at all, the Nagar asked, 'Do they not want Pakistan to be exposed in the world?' Speaking to ANI, Malook Nagar said, '...Some Congress leaders are also saying that no delegation should go at all. Do they not want Pakistan to be exposed in the world? Do they want Pakistan to keep promoting terrorism?... As far as Jairam Ramesh is concerned, he says that the four names they gave were not selected... But why did they not give the names of more capable people, who worked at the UN level... During the Parliament sessions, we saw that the Congress seats were vacant. Shashi Tharoor clearly gives his message in English and Hindi.' The RLD leader said, 'Right now, it is about the nation, not any party... It does not matter which MP Congress liked or did not like. It is about who would give the country's message to the world. Secondly, does Jairam Ramesh admit that there are many rifts in Congress? He is admitting that he does not consider those parliamentarians who are going as Congress parliamentarians... Today, respect for our country is at stake in the whole world, and we stand firmly... You are looking for politics in that, too. If you keep doing this, your condition would be even worse...' Nagar's remarks follow after Congress MP Jairam Ramesh alleged that despite formally submitting four names on request, the government ignored most of them, undermining parliamentary conventions and trust between the Opposition and the ruling party. The Congress General Secretary in charge of Communications accused the Central government (BJP) of playing 'cheap politics' and indulging in 'politicisation' by not including all the names recommended by the Opposition for the all-party parliamentary delegation. According to Congress, the party had submitted four names to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs by May 16, but the final list released late on May 17 included only one of the suggested names. The all-party delegations will project India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations. They would carry forth to the world the country's strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism. The list includes MPs from multiple parties, divided into seven groups of eight to nine members. A leader has been assigned for each group, who will lead the delegation at a global level. The Members of Parliament include Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, JDU leader Sanjay Kumar Jha, BJP leader Baijayant Panda, DMK leader Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Eknath Shinde. BJP Vs CONG: War Of Words Intensify Over Tharoor's Inclusion In All-Party Delegation To Expose Pak
Politics has intensified between Congress & BJP over Shashi Tharoor's inclusion in All-Party Delegation. Congress has questioned why the Government did not select anyone from the four names given the party to lead the delegation, while the BJP has asked why the congress is unhappy with the inclusion of its own MP in the delegation. RLD leader Malook Nagar also reacted saying that Congress' reaction to Tharoor's inclusion has proved that the grand old party is divided in different factions. The all-party panel will present a united stance to the world, marking a joint push by Indian MPs against terrorism.#allpartydelegation #congress #bjp #rld #jdu #sp #samajwadiparty #uditraj #sudhanshutrivedi #pakistan #terrorism #indianews #politics #toi #toibharat Read More

India's Muslim population enough to defeat Pakistan: RLD's Malook Nagar
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Malook Nagar strongly criticised Pakistan on Saturday in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, saying that the Muslim population of India are enough to defeat Pakistan. His remarks came as a response to Pakistan's Defence Minister admitting to the country's role in supporting terrorist groups. "Out of 146 crore people, about 25-26 crore are Muslims, and the Muslims of our country are enough to defeat Pakistan... A befitting reply will be given to this in the coming times," Nagar told ANI. Reacting to Pakistan's Defence Minister admitting that Pakistan has been funding and backing terrorist groups, the RLD leader said that the whole world stands with India. "Pakistan's minister has admitted in front of the whole world that they promote terrorism. Today, the whole world has said that it stands with our country, and it will be proved to the whole world that in the coming times, Pakistan will also become like Afghanistan," he added. In a video clip, Pakistan's defence minister is in a conversation with Sky News's Yalda Hakim, admitting Pakistan's involvement with terror groups. Hakim asks him, " But you do admit, you do admit, sir, that Pakistan has had a long history of backing and supporting and training and funding these terrorist organisations?" Khwaja Asif, in his reply, says, "We have been doing this dirty work for the United States for about 3 decades... and the west, including was a mistake, and we suffered for that, and that is why you are saying this to me. If we had not joined the war against the Soviet Union and later on the war after 9/11, Pakistan's track record was unimpeachable." Asif's statement lays bare the fact that Pakistan, for many years, has been harbouring these terror groups. Following the terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people, the Central government announced several diplomatic measures, such as closing the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Attari, suspending the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES) for Pakistani nationals, giving them 40 hours to return to their country, and reducing the number of officers in the High Commissions on both sides. India also halted the Indus Waters Treaty signed in 1960 in the wake of the Pahalgam attack.
