KATSEYE's lesbian Lollapalooza moment — every lesbian and sapphic needs to see this today

KATSEYE made their Lollapalooza debut over the weekend — and got a little salaciously sapphic on stage in the process. The "global girl group," which has taken a lot of inspiration from the world of K-pop, performed at the Chicago music festival as part of Sunday's afternoon showcase. Fans both present and paying attention from the far corners of the internet were going wild over the set, with one moment in particular drawing attention. Group members Lara and Manon got a little bit frisky in their dance moves, doing some grinding and even some writhing while the rest of the group just kept on doing their thing. Can't stop thinking about @KATSEYE #katseye #lollapalooza 🎥: @Respective Collective "the way Manon grabbed Lara like cmon boutta make history," one TikTok commenter wrote. "The fic writers are about to actually go crazy," joked another. Lara has previously come out as queer, as has fellow KATSEYE member, Megan. Some fans used this as yet another opportunity to speculate about Manon's sexuality, but mostly, they just seemed to enjoy the show. "you're laughing. katseye is lezzing out on lolla stage and you're laughing." "thank you katseye, thank you twice, thank you lollapalooza." Lollapalooza marked almost one year since the very first time KATSEYE performed publicly together at KCON in Los Angeles. Reports suggest this weekend's performance pulled a whopping 85,000 attendees. Aspiring opera singer wins W Towyn Roberts Scholarship at National Eisteddfod

An aspiring opera singer travelled to Wrexham to successfully take part in a prestigious competition at the National Eisteddfod. Manon Ogwen Parry, of Penarth near Cardiff, was one of four finalists in the W Towyn Roberts Scholarship on Monday afternoon. She is taking part in a series of concerts at the Edinburgh Festival and made the long journey from Scotland to take part in the Eisteddfod. She said: "Winning the W Towyn Roberts Scholarship would be an honour. It would make my family really proud, my father is from Bethesda. "I've been competing in the Urdd Eisteddfod, the Llangollen Eisteddfod and the National Eisteddfod since I was about five years old and this is a prize I have looked up to while growing up." The scholarship was set up in memory of Towyn Roberts' wife, Violet Jones, Nantclwyd, to promote vocal music for soloists in Wales and is awarded to the most promising competitor to enable them to follow a vocal training course at a recognised music school or college. After deliberating for some time the adjudicators decided Manon worthy of the Scholarship with John second and Ffion third. It was a busy day for the 25-year-old soprano who is currently studying opera at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. During the morning she was inducted into Gorsedd Cymru before taking part in the competition. This was as a result of her winning the Osborne Roberts Memorial Prize for the most promising soloist at last year's National Eisteddfod at Pontypridd. It has been a whirlwind year for Manon who made her debut at New York's Carnegie Hall last year and is set to perform at the BBC Proms later this summer as well as the Edinburgh Festival.

Meet the couples moving across the world for love in' 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way 'season 7 (exclusive)

"Entertainment Weekly" has the first look at the new season, which features big reunions and even bigger breakdowns. How far would you go for love? Six couples are answering that question quite literally in the upcoming seventh season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. A reverse version of 90 Day Fiancé, The Other Way follows a group of Americans as they pack up their bags and move to another country in order to be with their long-distance loves. Entertainment Weekly can exclusively reveal the four new couples (plus two returning fan-favorite pairs) who will find themselves settling down in countries like Colombia, Australia, India, and more when the series premieres on Sept. 8. 'I'm leaving a six-figure job to move to Aruba because I fell in love with a man on a pirate ship,' Chloe confesses in a trailer for the upcoming season, before bursting into laughter. For other couples, like Anthony and Manon, the move from California to France with their family is necessary to keep their love alive. 'The American dream is actually killing me,' Manon explains. To which Anthony adds, 'So we are moving to France to save our marriage.' Sparks instantly fly between reunited partners like Pattiya and Dylan, who can be seen kissing and licking each other's faces at the airport. However, cultural differences, unique family dynamics, and the reality of living abroad will soon test all of the couples and their bonds in ways they could've never expected. And it seems that there's already trouble brewing in paradise. In another clip, Madelein accuses Luke of touching another woman. When he denies the accusation, she asks him if he thinks she's 'f---ing stupid' before smashing a floral dessert all over his face and tearily storming out of the venue. "Oh my God," she cries. Can their love survive? We'll have to see when 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way premieres Monday, Sept. 8 at 8PM ET/PT on TLC. For now, find out more about the couples below. Greta (Oklahoma) & Matthew (England) After meeting on a vegan dating app and bonding over cats and shared quirks, Greta moves to England to begin her life with Matthew in a quiet English village. But with Matthew's parents under the same roof and the challenges of adjusting to living together, their new beginning may be harder than either of them expected. Anthony (California) & Manon (France) Married with a toddler and teetering on the edge of burnout, Anthony and Manon move to France in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. But between clashing family members, mounting financial stress, and zero personal space (yes, they're sharing a bed with their child), this fresh start may bring more pressure than peace. Can they rediscover the spark — or is it already too late? Pattiya (Texas) & Dylan (Tasmania) An exotic dancer and her much younger Aussie boyfriend are finally ready to build a life together in Tasmania after more than a decade of on-and-off long-distance love. With a 20-year age gap between them, Pattiya and Dylan face more than just cultural differences. As Pattiya adjusts to a completely new environment, the couple must also navigate Dylan's close relationship with his mother, who lives five minutes away, lingering trust issues, and the realities of merging two very different worlds. Chloe (Massachusetts) & Johny (Aruba) Chloe met Johny, a charismatic pirate boat tour guide, while vacationing in Aruba. Now, she's ready to leave her life in Boston behind to be with him full time. As their relationship deepens, Chloe must confront Johny's flirtatious job, her skeptical family and friends, and growing concerns about trust between them. Jenny (California) & Sumit (India) After years of cultural clashes, family opposition, and a secret marriage, Jenny and Sumit have finally earned the blessing of Sumit's family, but at a cost. Their once-independent life in India is about to change as they move in with Sumit's parents. With privacy gone and family dynamics front and center, will their hard-won love survive this new chapter? Luke (California) & Madelein (Colombia) Luke and Madelein met during a vacation in Colombia and have been inseparable ever since. Now, two years in, Luke is finally making the move, and the couple is planning a lavish wedding with four dresses and zero budget compromises. But with financial stress mounting and trust issues bubbling over, will they make it to the altar — or will the pressure pull them apart? Lakers to sign Christian Koloko, Chris Manon to two-way contracts

After getting former Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart to agree to sign a two-year contract, the Los Angeles Lakers made a couple more minor roster moves on Monday. During NBA summer league play, they got a look at some of their young players. Guard Bronny James, after a slow start, put forth some promising play on both ends of the court, and forward Darius Bazley played some high-energy basketball until he suffered a leg injury in the team's penultimate game. On Monday, the Lakers decided to sign center Christian Koloko and wing Chris Manon to two-way contracts. Koloko was with them during summer league play, while Manon suited up for the Golden State Warriors. Koloko was a second-round draft pick in 2022 after three seasons at the University of Arizona. He missed all of the 2022-23 season due to a blood clot issue, and in 37 games with the Lakers this past season, he averaged 2.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 9.2 minutes a game. While in the G League, he put up 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per contest. He had originally signed with L.A. on a two-way contract last summer. Manon, who went undrafted in last month's NBA draft, averaged 11.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.4 steals in 18.1 minutes a game during the Las Vegas summer league. He isn't a 3-point shooting threat, but at 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, he hustles and plays hard on the defensive end and has a strong motor. On Sunday, the Lakers waived guard Jordan Goodwin, whom they had called up from the G League at midseason. Perhaps Manon will essentially be Goodwin's replacement as far as a high-motor wing they will look to develop.

KATSEYE faces backlash as fans accuse HYBE of mistreating and sidelining Manon in group promotions

KATSEYE faces backlash as fans accuse HYBE of mistreating and sidelining Manon in group promotions Global girl group KATSEYE, formed through HYBE and Geffen Records' joint project, is facing mounting backlash as fans express concern over the visible absence of member Manon in recent group promotions. The growing controversy began earlier this week when a tweet highlighting Manon's minimal screen time and lack of presence in multiple appearances went viral. Glossier billboard, HYBEbae, now monster high. They trying to ice my girl out. — DRE on STRIKE (@KATZmanon21) July 19, 2025 Supporters quickly compiled numerous examples, including her exclusion from a billboard celebration with Glossier. In group photos, Manon was noticeably absent, and in one case, her face on the billboard was obscured by another member. Fans also pointed out her individual image was missing from a recent group interview with Hypebae, and that she had limited presence in the group's video collaboration with Monster High. Tensions reached a tipping point as fans expressed frustration, arguing the pattern was too frequent to dismiss. Many questioned why the only Black member of KATSEYE would be continually sidelined, sparking broader conversations about representation and racial sensitivity in global entertainment projects. Online comparisons were swiftly drawn to similar concerns raised in the past with Black members of other pop groups, such as Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix and Normani of Fifth Harmony. Critics called for transparency from HYBE and Geffen Records, but neither the company nor KATSEYE's official accounts have issued a public response.
