According to TMZ Sports, Manscaped said they would gladly send Kelce a package of grooming products free of charge, specifically offering their Lawn Mower trimmer , a cordless, waterproof electric razor designed for body hair removal. Travis Kelce offered solutions for his 'hairy as s***' back after viral photos sparked concern for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce sparked controversy this week after photos of his extremely hairy back went viral - but there are solutions for the Chiefs legend if he wants a smoother look. After enjoying an offseason workout in Miami, where he was also seen out with girlfriend Taylor Swift on Friday night, photographers caught the moment Kelce changed his shirt at the end of the session, and the carpet of hair on both his back and chest unsurprisingly sent the internet into meltdown. Fans were left stunned by his furry look, with one writing: ' Taylor Swift is okay with that?' Another added: 'Travis Kelce is hairy as s***. I like a hairy man but sir.' Yet according to TMZ Sports, companies are lining up to help Kelce tidy up his body hair after the pictures emerged this week. Manscaped - the men's grooming company which offers a plethora of suitable products - has urged the NFL star to make use of one of their mower trimmers. If he wants to test one out, the folks at Manscaped have offered to ship him some goodies whenever he wishes. However, Travis could also go one step further by waxing his chest and back, with Erin Thomas of the Trifecta studios in Kansas City willing to do it for him. Kelce has referenced his hairy body - which has even gained him the nickname 'The Big Yeti' - on several occasions in the past. Just this week on his New Heights podcast, the 35-year-old joked that he was 'wearing two shirts', adding: 'I'm a furry son of a b****.' While some were critical of it, other fans on social media fawned over the controversial look, with one Swiftie calling his hairy back 'perfect just like he is.' Another called him a 'sexy man' and said he shouldn't be embarrassed for his hairy appearance. In February 2024, Jason revealed the origins of the 'Big Yeti' nickname, from Travis' college days playing sports. 'When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit,' Jason said on New Heights. 'And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there's shirts and skins.' Travis then chimed in: 'It's just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me "Big Yeti".' The photos even got as far as other NFL professionals, with legendary quarterback Kirk Cousins weighing in on them.

Manscaped The Chairman Pro review: is this the best value electric shaver?

Price: £150, Amazon Alternative retailers: Manscaped (£140) Our rating: 9/10 We like: LED lights up the face Simple cleaning Various guards for control over stubble length We don't like: 90-day warrant is stingy Foil head is bulky It is fairly noisy What is the Manscaped The Chairman Pro Electric Shaver? Manscaped has been making waves in the grooming industry, predominantly for popularising electric shavers that have been designed to tackle the, ahem, nether regions. YouTube, social media sites and the web in general has been awash with tongue-in-cheek adverts for The Lawnmower and other groin-shearing products. The same focus on a smooth finish with minimum irrigation has now been applied to the face, with Manscaped expanding its range of SkinSafe products into some of the best electric shavers and beard trimmers out there. The Chairman Pro sits at the very top of the range and offers two interchangeable heads that offer either a baby smooth finish or precise control over stubble length. It's a canny USP, as it gives the user greater choice when it comes to the results – whether that's one, or even two-day stubble or squeaky clean cheeks. The Chairman Pro is a fully waterproof electric shaver, allowing it to be used in the shower or bath, or with creams and oils for sensitive skin, while a small LCD display gives an accurate read out of remaining battery life. All of this is housed inside a smart package, which is easy to hold and looks great, with simple magnetic heads making both cleaning and swapping out the four-blade foil for the stubble trimmer a doddle. How we test electric shavers It's difficult to get a feel for an electric shaver after just one use, as it generally takes a few sessions to work out whether it provides the desired finish without irritation or razor burn, as well as its ability to offer the advertised runtime. That's why we test all shavers over several weeks, with The Chairman Pro used three or four times a week to gain insight into the closeness of the shave, how the electric shaver handles, the overall skin comfort, its ease of use and the ease of cleaning and maintaining. On top of this, we timed each shaving session, allowing the unit to run its battery down over the course of a week or so to see if the manufacturer's runtime claims were accurate. To get the most accurate overall picture of performance, we also tested any accessories that came with the shaver, be it stubble guards, combs or cleaning kit. Visit our Who We Are page to learn more about Telegraph Recommended reviews. Closeness of shave: 9/10 Where the Chairman Pro is concerned, closeness of shave is optional, as it comes with two different shaving heads that magnetically snap on to the main body. A four-blade foil shaver is designed to shave even thicker stubble right down to the skin, with SkinSafe blade technology employed to minimise the risk of irritation. With this head attached, it offers squeaky clean results on even tougher five-day stubble, with only a few passes and minimal pressure required. Alternatively, the stubble trimmer, which features just two foil blades and two individual plastic guards, allows for a two or even three-day stubble look. However this isn't a beard trimmer, as it still cuts the hair short. For that, you will be better suited to one of the best beard trimmers. Similarly, the Chairman Pro isn't one to turn to if you are thinking of trying a spot of amateur barbering, unless you are taking a grade 1 down to the skin. A pair of hair clippers is far better suited, as they are more powerful and allow for varying lengths. During testing, I preferred the stubble trimmer with the shortest guard attached, as this allowed for a smooth shave, without taking it right down to the skin. That said, it took multiple passes to ensure all of the facial hair was trimmed which, for some, might lead to some irritation. However, the four-blade foil is excellent at delivering a really close shave, with no razor burn or ingrown hairs reported, even after several weeks of use. Maneouvrability: 8/10 Manscaped's top tier electric shaver comes with a number of handy features, including the LED light that illuminates the part of the face that you are heading towards. In addition to this, the company also includes a Precision Lock feature that allows the main shaving head to be locked at the perfect angle. When left to freely swivel, the Chairman Pro did a fantastic job of following the contours of the face, but locking the head at a specific angle assists in achieving a more precise finish to longer stubble, carefully trimming sideburns or simply reaching those more difficult spots, like under the nose. However, the shaving heads themselves are quite large and therefore lack the sharp finish of separate, smaller T-blade precision trimmers that can be found on some rival shavers. These typically slide up from the rear of the shaver and allow for more precise lines. In addition to this, I found that the Stubble Trimmer, complete with plastic guards, struggled to tackle hard-to-reach areas, requiring multiple passes over the top lip and under the jawline to ensure all hairs were tackled equally. Other than that, it felt great in the hand, with an ergonomically designed shape and textured plastic on the flanks ensuring it was easy to grip, even when wet. Comfort: 9/10 Manscaped's SkinSafe technology is designed to minimise irritation and nicks in the most sensitive of areas and does a great job of trimming hair to the skin without snagging or irritation. The main four-blade foil employs a multitude of different blade designs to first lift hairs and then guide them into the foil for efficient cutting. If you prefer a clean shaven look, this is the most efficient tool and it does so without irritating razor burn, nor the need to perform endless amounts of passes. Even after using it for several weeks, shaving at least twice a week, I didn't experience any signs of irritation, nor did I notice any ingrown hairs and other nasty side effects. It's also possible to use the Chairman Pro alongside specific shaving gels and oils, which mitigates any form of irritation further. It's a comfortable experience and one that's extremely easy to use, with that illuminating LED making it easy to spot flat-lying hairs and spots you might have otherwise missed. Ease of use: 9/10 Electric shavers rarely require a degree in modern mechanics to fathom, but the Chairman Pro is up there with some of the simplest to get on with. Charging is via a fairly standard USB-C cable, meaning it can be charged from laptops and other handy outlets when travelling. A full 90-minute charge delivers a claimed 75-minutes of runtime and that's pretty much spot on. During testing, I managed seven circa ten-minute shaving sessions before the small LED display on the unit informed me it was time to charge. Other than that, swapping heads simply requires pulling the magnetic units from the pinch points at the sides and lifting away. New heads snap on with ease and the small plastic guards are guided into obvious slots. That said, these plastic guards are a little flimsy, meaning they require some care. Ease of cleaning: 9/10 Being waterproof, the Chairman Pro is very simple to clean. Remove the magnetic foil cover, tap hairs into the sink and then rinse the unit with warm water. Manscaped then suggests you run the shaver motors under warm water with the unit switched on, before laying everything out to air dry. To ensure the blades remain sharp and effective, Manscaped sells replacement magnetic blade heads on its site, which range from £28 for the stubble trimmer to £45 for the foil blade. Manscaped recommends changing them every 12 to 18 months, but this will vary on the degree of usage. Technical specifications There are many electric foil shavers that rival the Chairman Pro, but very few come with swappable magnetic heads for greater control over stubble length. One of the closest in terms of price is the Wahl Lifeproof Plus Wet/Dry Shaver, which is a sturdily built unit that delivers an equally close shave. Telegraph verdict: 9/10 Considering the price, the Chairman Pro offers an excellent shave, alongside the ability to gain greater control over stubble length. If you don't like the perfectly clean shaven look all the time, this is a solid addition to the bathroom armoury. Throw in the LCD display, the built-in illuminating LED and the general build quality, and the Chairman Pro represents excellent value for money. It's worth noting that the 90-day warranty is shorter than some rivals, which can offer up to four or five years. That said, Manscaped can take care of your entire grooming routine, offering various packages that throw in shaving gels and soothing balms, as well as the ability to subscribe and have these automatically replenished. Great for forgetful hairy types. FAQs Is the Manscaped The Chairman Pro suitable for sensitive skin? Yes. The company specialises in sensitive areas, taking this expertise to the beard and face. How long does it take to charge the Manscaped The Chairman Pro? A 90-minute charge sees 75 minutes of runtime. What is the warranty period for the Manscaped The Chairman Pro? The warranty is a mere 90-days, which is some way behind the several year warranty other manufacturers offer. Does the Manscaped The Chairman Pro have a travel lock feature? Yes, there is a travel lock feature that prevents the shaver from turning on in transit. Can the Manscaped The Chairman Pro be used for wet and dry shaving? Yes, it is fully a fully waterproof electric shaver so can be used for both wet and dry shaving.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ review: is this the most advanced electric shaver yet?

This article contains affiliate links. The products or services listed have been selected independently by journalists after hands-on testing or sourcing expert opinions. We may earn a commission when you click a link, buy a product or subscribe to a service. Price: £649.99, Braun Alternative retailers: Amazon (£289.99) Our rating: 10/10 We like: Effortless shaving experience PowerCase extends battery life by up to 6 weeks Automated cleaning dock We don't like: Expensive Plastic build quality PowerCase is bulky for travel What is the Braun Series 9 Pro+ Electric Shaver? Often regarded as one of the most advanced electric shavers on the market, the Braun Series 9 Pro+ packs in a whole host of tech that is designed to give the cleanest shave possible, with minimal skin irritation. Alongside the Sonic Technology, which carefully shakes fine hairs so they're lifted away from the skin before cutting, Braun also impresses with a portable PowerCase, which not only provides robust protection when on the move, but can also extend battery life for up to six weeks. The Rolls-Royce of foil shavers, then? Potentially, especially when you consider it also comes with an automated cleaning dock, so you don't have to get your hands dirty to ensure the blades remain clean and maintained. It's like having your own personal grooming Jeeves. Granted, the £649.99 full price is wince-inducing, but the price of the Series 9 Pro+ has already plummeted at a number of online outlets, making it slightly easier to budget for, such as Amazon (£289.99). But alongside that hefty initial outlay, it's also worth noting that this electric shaver can only cut stubble right down to the skin. If you're looking for a perfectly pruned beard, this isn't the right tool, as you'll want to turn towards one of the best beard trimmers. Similarly, if you like a slightly rougher, two or three-day stubble look, it's worth checking out something like Manscaped's The Chairman Pro model or the Philips 9000 Series, which is arguably a more direct rival. How we test electric shavers It's difficult to get a feel for an electric shaver after just one use, as it generally takes a few sessions to work out whether it provides the desired finish without irritation or razor burn, as well as its ability to offer the suggested runtime. That's why we test all shavers over several weeks, with the Braun Series 9 Pro+ used three or four times a week to gain insight into the closeness of the finish, how the electric shaver handles, the overall skin comfort, its ease of use and the ease of cleaning and maintaining. To get the most accurate overall picture of performance, we also tested all of the accessories that came with the shaver, including the automated cleaning dock and the battery-extending PowerCase. Visit our Who We Are page to learn more about Telegraph Recommended reviews. Closeness of shave: 10/10 The Braun Series 9 Pro+ majors on delivering a close shave with minimal irritation, able to offer incredibly close results with very few passes. Just one sweep with the grain is often enough to cut even thicker stubble short, with a second stroke against the grain taking things right down to the skin. Not only does this save precious time during the daily grooming routine, it also greatly reduces the risk of skin irritation. What's more, it's fully waterproof, so it can be used with creams and oils to ensure the smoothest shave possible. Braun manages to achieve such results because of several things: firstly, there's a flexible head that adapts to facial contours (it can be manually locked out, too) and there's the motor's built-in Sonic Technology. In essence, this vibrates the skin and coaxes the hair away from the face, gently feeding it into the foils for cutting. Again, this reduces the number of passes required to achieve a clean shaven look. Having tested several of the best electric shavers currently on sale, the Braun Series 9 Pro+ rapidly rose to the top of my list, purely because it delivers an exceptionally close shave with minimal fuss and skin irritation. Manoeuvrability: 9/10 Lightweight and easy to hold, the Braun Series 9 Pro+ glides over the face with ease. The flexible head matches the various undulations of the face to ensure it remains as close to the skin as possible. The build is predominantly plastic, which cheapens the aesthetic slightly, but it helps to keep the overall weight down and ensures an easy grip, even when using it in the bath or shower. Not quite as bulky as some rival foil shaver heads, this model is easy to manoeuvre around tricky areas, such as under the nose or around the jowl lines. During testing of various shavers recently, I found the area under my chin to be one of the most stubborn to reach and deal with, but the Braun Series 9 Pro+ ploughed through it, rarely missing a single strand. For finer detailing jobs, such as sideburns or really tricky spots, there is an ultra-precise T-blade trimmer that slides up from the back of the unit. Comfort: 10/10 As previously mentioned, the Braun Series 9 Pro+ employs several pieces of technology to ensure the shaving experience is fast and comfortable. Five individual blade elements all serve a specific cutting purpose, while surgical-grade stainless steel blades ensure the hair slicing is effortless. AutoSense technology adjusts the motor's output, which is capable of 40,000 cutting actions per minute, depending on the thickness of hair it's tackling at the time. In addition to this, Sonic Technology gently teases hairs away from the face, guiding them into the foil cutting head. It all results in a comfortable shave, but to make life even more convenient, Braun includes a SmartCare cleaning dock in certain product bundles, which allows for automated and more convenient cleaning and maintenance. Ease of use: 10/10 Cleaning and maintenance aside (see below), the Braun Series 9 Pro+ is simple to use. There really is only an on/off switch to contend with and a 30 second introduction to how the SmartCare cleaning system works. Everything else is handled by the shaver. Included in this pack was the aforementioned cleaning dock, as well as a handy portable PowerCase, which doubles-up as a robust (and rather bulky) way to store your beloved shaver when on the move, but also a method of adding up to six weeks runtime thanks to its own onboard battery packs. Handily, Braun's power cable can be used for either the dock, the PowerCase or plugged directly into the shaver, so there are various methods of charging. Said PowerCase is made of toughened plastic and, while a bit large and heavy, serves as a great way of keeping the shaver powered up, as its mammoth batteries will trickle-charge the shaver for weeks on end. If you prefer not to use the PowerCase (or opt to buy the shaver only), a 90-minute direct charge will provide around 60-minutes of run time. Ease of cleaning: 10/10 There are a number of grooming brands that now take the hassle out of cleaning and maintenance via an automated cleaning dock. Philips offers its 9000 Series with an analogue cleansing unit, complete with replaceable cleaning fluid, while Braun opts for one that requires plugging into the wall, so it can simultaneously charge the shaver. It's a great idea, as it means you only need room for the SmartCare cleaning station in your bathroom, rather than stashing power cords and charging cables in cupboards. That said, the docking unit is quite large, so you'll need a sizeable shelf or bathroom unit to store it. But once in place, it is easy to use. All it requires is first sliding in the provided pot of cleaning fluid (Braun and Amazon both sell replacements) and then placing the Series 9 Pro+ foils down into the docking station and hitting the power button. The shaver will then automatically run a cleaning cycle, flushing the foil heads with bacteria-busting fluid and collecting excess hair inside the disposable pods to be discarded in a few weeks' time. Leave the shaver as it is to dry and the SmartCare cleaning station will automatically top up the batteries until the next shave. Not only is this so much more convenient than tapping excess hair into the sink and washing it away, it's also a guaranteed deep clean every time, with germs and bacteria killed off. This massively reduces the chance of irritation and infection (pimples, ingrown hairs, etc), as it ensures the foils are as fresh as possible before each shave. Technical specifications Sporting a similarly eye-watering price tag and equally impressive tech, the Philips Series 9000 favours three, 360-degree rotary heads over a standard foil head, but still delivers an incredibly close shave. In addition to this, it can sync up with a smartphone to provide feedback on shaving technique, offer cleaning reminders and show remaining battery charge status. Here's how it stacks up against the Braun Series 9 Pro+: Telegraph verdict: 10/10 If paying Braun's frankly insane retail price, it's difficult to recommend the Braun Series 9 Pro+, simply because it's possible to achieve a similarly close shave by spending far less. But considering the model has already been heavily discounted, it starts to become more palatable. The foil shaver itself is mightily impressive, delivering an incredibly close shave without the irritation or lengthy shave times, while the additional PowerCase is a great option for those regularly on the move ‒ or those who can't be bothered to plug it into the wall often. Add the automated cleaning dock into the mix and it's an accomplished package that stands head and shoulders above cheaper rivals, both in terms of shaving performance and convenience. Just make sure you don't pay full price. FAQs Is the Braun Series 9 Pro+ suitable for sensitive skin? Yes. The blade technology is designed to cut hair as efficiently as possible, minimising irritation. How long does it take to charge the Braun Series 9 Pro+? A 90-minute charge sees 60-minutes of runtime. What is the warranty period for the Braun Series 9 Pro+? A standard warranty of four years is offered, but it is possible to extend this to five by registering the item with Braun. Does the Braun Series 9 Pro+ have a travel lock feature? Yes, there is a locking function but the portable PowerCase also prevents the shaver from accidentally switching on in transit. Can the Braun Series 9 Pro+ be used for wet and dry shaving? Yes, it can be used for both.
