Google Pixel 10 leaks: Here's all we know so far ahead of August launch

Google's Pixel series has evolved from an experimental concept into a reliable smartphone lineup over the past decade. As we await the Pixel 10, expected later this year, leaks and rumours are offering a clearer picture of what's to come. A recent sighting by X user MarksGonePublic revealed a commercial shoot for the Pixel 10, hinting at its features and design. While the phone wasn't fully visible, the appearance of a video team suggests a well-progressed launch. 🎬 Just out for a walk… stumbled onto a full-on commercial shoot for the Google Pixel 10 📱 They had a macro probe lens, a Panavision rig, and 20+ crew members… to film someone holding a phone 😂 If the Pixel camera's so good, why not just use it? 👀 #BTS #Vancouver — Mark Teasdale ★ (@MarksGonePublic) May 23, 2025 The Pixel 10 is expected to come in several models, including the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL, and possibly a Pixel 10 Pro Fold. A Pixel 10a may also arrive in 2026 for a mid-year refresh. Processor and Performance: The Pixel 10 will be powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, an upgrade from previous versions. While not necessarily industry-leading in benchmarks, Tensor chips are known for delivering smooth, reliable user experiences, with an emphasis on AI-driven features like image processing and voice recognition. Camera Upgrades: Leaked renders show the base Pixel 10 will feature a third lens, a telephoto camera, enhancing zoom. However, the wide and ultra-wide lenses will drop to 48MP and 13MP, respectively. The Pro models will retain the 50MP/48MP/48MP setup, with the Pro Fold getting a camera sensor upgrade to 50MP for the main sensor. AI Features and New Tools: AI will be a central feature of the Pixel 10, with enhanced tools for image and video editing, as well as real-time language translation. The new Android XR augmented reality platform could also make an appearance. Pricing and Availability: The Pixel 10 is expected to start at $799, with the Pixel 10 Pro priced at $999. The Pro XL will cost around $1,200, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may drop to $1,599 from its predecessor's $1,799 price tag. Colours: Leaks suggest the Pixel 10 will come in Obsidian (black), Iris (purple), Limoncello (yellow), and Blue for the base model, with the Pro models offering Obsidian, Green, Sterling (grey), and Porcelain (white). As Google prepares for the Pixel 10's launch in August, it's clear the company is focusing on AI, camera upgrades, and competitive pricing. The Pixel 10 could be one of 2025's most exciting smartphones. Google Pixel 10: From cameras to chipset, here's what we know so far

Google Pixel phones are known for leaking ahead of time, and it looks like the Pixel 10 series is no exception. With Google ditching Samsung for TSMC, it looks like the Tensor G5 will finally be a huge upgrade over its predecessor. In the last few months, several leaks and rumours have hinted at what's coming, and while it is too early to speculate, here's everything we know so far about the Google Pixel 10 series smartphones. Last week, a X user who goes by the name Mark Teasdale shared a behind-the-scenes video of what he claims to be 'a full-on commercial shoot for the Google Pixel 10.' While the video does not give us a close-up shot of the Pixel 10, the leaked visuals suggest that the design will be similar to its predecessor. However, Google might make it easier to distinguish between the Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 series by introducing new colourways, one of which is a new yellow shade called 'limoncello.' 🎬 Just out for a walk… stumbled onto a full-on commercial shoot for the Google Pixel 10 📱 They had a macro probe lens, a Panavision rig, and 20+ crew members… to film someone holding a phone 😂 If the Pixel camera's so good, why not just use it? 👀 #BTS #Vancouver — Mark Teasdale ★ (@MarksGonePublic) May 23, 2025 With Google announcing several new AI powered features at I/O 2025 and going with 'Ask more of your phone' tagline for the Pixel 10 series, it looks like the upcoming Pixel series is set to get a ton of new generative AI features and put photography on the front. The Pixel 10 series may get a new feature called 'Video Generative ML', which may let you edit videos in Google Photos. Some other AI features rumoured to make their way on the upcoming smartphones include 'Speak-to-Tweak', a tool that lets you edit images using voice commands, and 'Sketch-to-image', which, as the name suggests, turns your sketches into realistic images. While most models in the Pixel 10 series will retain the camera hardware from its predecessors, a report by Android Authority, citing a source at Google, claims that the base Pixel 10 may finally get a telephoto lens. This is backed by the recently leaked commercial, which also hints at a third camera lens. However, it looks like the new telephoto lens may come with a hidden cost – downgraded primary and ultrawide lens. Android Authority says that the Pixel 10's camera hardware is closer to the Pixel 9a compared to other Pixel 10 devices. It looks like Google might replace the primary sensor on the vanilla Pixel 10 with Samsung GN8 lens, which is considerably smaller than the one on the Pixel 9. Also, it looks like the tech giant is considering going with the Sony IM712 sensor for the ultrawide camera, which is much less powerful than the Pixel 9's Sony IMX712 sensor. To give you a quick recap, these sensors have previously appeared on the Pixel 8a. Coming to the new telephoto lens, it looks like Google is going with a 11MP Samsung 3J1, the same sensor that powers the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's telephoto shooter. And while there is a lot more to a smartphone camera than just the hardware, a smaller sensor usually means worse performance, especially in low light conditions. As for other Pixel 10 series devices, the report hints that the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL's camera capabilities will remain unchanged, but we expect to see improved image processing algorithms with Google's Tensor G5 chipset. Like last year, it looks like Google will unveil the new Pixel 10 series sometime in August. The upcoming smartphone lineup is expected to sport four models – the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google is expected to make a few changes to the Pixel 10 series pricing. According to Android headlines citing 'a source familiar with Google's plans', the vanilla Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will be available for Rs 79,999 and Rs 99,999 respectively, which is the same price as their predecessor. The Pixel 10 XL seems to be getting a price bump by around $100, with the phone likely to start from $1,199, which roughly translates to Rs 1,02,200. But there is reportedly some good news regarding the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which may potentially be cheaper than its predecessor, with a starting price of $1,600 or approximately Rs 1,36,400.

Pixel 10 Pro leak: Commercial shoot reveals the device's design

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. A commercial shoot for the Pixel 10 Pro was leaked, offering early visuals of the device. The Pixel 10 Pro should be retaining a similar design to its predecessor, including the protruding camera visor and triple camera system with a temperature sensor. The leak also indicates that Google is likely planning an early summer event to launch the Pixel 10 series. Google is preparing for the Pixel 10 series lineup, and it is pretty evident that the company appears to be shooting for the commercials of its products. Thanks to a new leak, we get to see a glimpse of the shoot alongside some sneak peeks of the upcoming handset. The leak comes through a photographer, Mark Teasdale, on X (via DroidLife), where he happened to go out for a walk and spotted a commercial shoot happening with over 20 crew shooting a man with a phone — and that happens to be the Pixel 10 Pro, going by the images. The images from the so-called 'Ask more of your phone' shoot here include a storyboard of the commercial, which comprises some Pixel 10 Pro shots in a couple of angles revealing its design, and some hands-on of the device where one can see the notable protruding camera visor similar to the predecessor Pixel 9 Pro. It includes the triple camera setup next to the popular temperature sensor. The successor looks largely the same as the previous iteration — in the commercial shoot images and also matches the previously leaked Pixel 10 Pro renders. While a lot of older-generation Pixel phones have shown up before the release in several ways, like renders, someone dropping the phone in a café, or its retail box surfacing, the latest commercial shoot leak still comes as an interesting way to see the phone beforehand. Image 1 of 2 Image 2 of 2 With Google done with its annual developer conference last week and the Android Show a week before that, the next big event is the Pixel 10 series. We will likely get devices like Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold this time around. Phone deals: Best Buy | Walmart | Samsung | Amazon | Verizon | ATT

Google Pixel 10 appears in spy shots, colors also revealed

Google is already working on the Pixel 10, a series of leaks revealed over the weekend. The Pixel 10 Pro (or Pixel 10 Pro XL) was spotted on a public beach in Vancouver, Canada, where it was filmed for a TV ad. The video crew wasn't working hard on keeping the phone a mystery, and the person who stumbled upon the set even got a glance at the storyboard (a visual script of all scenes that make up the video clip). Google will launch the Pixel 10 with a new camera feature that will allow users to add multiple people to the same shot. 🎬 Just out for a walk…stumbled onto a full-on commercial shoot for the Google Pixel 10 📱They had a macro probe lens, a Panavision rig, and 20+ crew members…to film someone holding a phone 😂 If the Pixel camera's so good, why not just use it? 👀 #BTS #Vancouver — Mark Teasdale ★ (@MarksGonePublic) May 23, 2025 The feature is called Google Add Me, and is an AI-powered tool that adds people to the same setting, like allowing the photographer to join later and to appear in the final image. We can also see that Google will stick to the newly introduced camera design with a black oval for the cameras, with a protruding, slightly bigger oval with extra room for the LED flash. The phone also appears Blue-ish, which is one of the colors that will be introduced. Google Pixel 10 ad: Storyboard and the product According to a post on Telegram, Pixel 10 will arrive in Obsidian (Black), Blue, Iris (Purple), or Limoncello (likely Yellow). Google will bring the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL in Obsidian, Green, Sterling (Gray) or Porcelain (White). The Pixel series traditionally launched in October, but the Pixel 9 series came early - mid-August 2024. We expect the Pixel 10 lineup to stick to the new schedule, and Google to launch the new phones in three months' time. Source 1 • Source 2 | Via

Google caught filming Pixel 10 ad on Vancouver beach

Mark Teasdale/X TL;DR Google was caught filming a Pixel 10 ad on a beach in Vancouver. The leaked images from the shoot show what appears to be a Pixel 10 Pro or 10 Pro XL, and detailed storyboards from the shoot. The tagline 'Ask more of your phone' and a demo of the 'Add Me' feature appear in the storyboards. It looks like Google is already in full swing, preparing the marketing campaign for the upcoming Pixel 10 series. On May 23, an X user shared behind-the-scenes photos from what appears to be a Pixel 10 commercial shoot taking place on a beach in Vancouver. Storyboards and devices are clearly visible in the leaked video, which compiles several images from the shoot. The phone being used in the shoot is likely the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL in a black or gray colorway. The storyboards featured in the video give a detailed look at the phone's design, including the camera bar, rear layout, and side-mounted volume and power buttons. One storyboard clearly reveals what could be the official tagline for the Pixel 10 series: 'Ask more of your phone.' The ad scene visualizes this tagline through a demo of Google's Add Me feature, an AI-powered tool that lets users seamlessly combine two photos taken in the same setting, helping to add someone else (like the photographer) into the final image. Moreover, the storyboard also depicts actors casually hanging out at the beach, taking photos, and interacting with the phone in natural, real-world scenarios. Earlier today, a leak revealed the full color lineup for the Pixel 10 series, including the standout Limoncello yellow, along with Blue, Iris, Sterling, and more. A set of 40 wallpapers for phones has also leaked. Google has yet to confirm anything about the Pixel 10 series officially, but with marketing already in motion, the flagship lineup seems ready to debut later this year.
