BRAVO TV STAR DWIGHT EUBANKS PUBLICLY SHARES PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSIS
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star joins a growing chorus of cultural influencers rallying behind ZERO Prostate Cancer urging Black men to know their risk and get screened. ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As National Men's Health and Pride Month kicks-off, Bravo TV star and Atlanta hair stylist Dwight Eubanks announced that he has been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer and is channeling pain into purpose by joining ZERO Prostate Cancer (ZERO), the nation's leading advocacy and support organization for prostate cancer awareness, as a brand ambassador. Eubanks is a prominent hair stylist and entertainment icon who has spent over 30 years in fashion and cosmetology. He rose to fame on the Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", and also appeared on "Married to Medicine" as creative director of the Lisa Nicole Fashion Line. Joining forces with ZERO, Eubanks will help raise awareness about prostate cancer and call for Black men to know their numbers and get screened. Today, one in six Black men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. Moreover, Black men are 70% more likely to be diagnosed and twice as likely to die from it. "A prostate cancer diagnosis is crushing but I'm grateful to still be in this fight and use my platform to help others impacted by this disease," said Eubanks. "It is critical that men — especially Black men who are disproportionately diagnosed with prostate cancer — become their own health advocates and push for information, screenings, and lifesaving care. I am deeply thankful for ZERO's support and partnership and I hope by sharing my story I will help to save more lives." Every two minutes a man in the U.S. is diagnosed with prostate cancer. This year alone, over 300,000 new cases of prostate cancer are expected to be diagnosed and over 35,000 men will die from the disease — fathers, uncles and sons lost too soon. "Though we know exciting medical breakthroughs are on the horizon to treat those with the disease, awareness and being proactive to diagnose prostate cancer early are critical," said ZERO Board of Directors Medical Chair, Dr. Alicia Morgans, a Genitourinary Medical Oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. "The truth is prostate cancer can be curable with a 99% survival rate at 5 years when caught in the earliest stage. That's why Dwight's story and message to other men to get screened and know your family history is so powerful. Screening can be the difference between life and death." "This is more than a media moment — it's a movement," said Courtney Bugler, president and CEO of ZERO Prostate Cancer. "Dwight's voice and story will help to redefine how Black men talk about this devastating disease within their communities —removing the stigma, replacing fear with facts and turning silence into survival." In Eubanks' new role as a ZERO Brand Ambassador, he will help advocate for more access to screenings and quality care–supporting ZERO's current initiatives like Blitz the Barriers, which aims to save 100,000 lives by 2035 in communities hardest hit or most devastated by prostate cancer. About ZERO Prostate Cancer ZERO Prostate Cancer (ZERO) is on a mission to improve and save lives from prostate cancer through advocacy, awareness, education, and support. Formerly known as the National Prostate Cancer Coalition, ZERO was founded in 1996 to stand up for people impacted by prostate cancer. Today, ZERO serves as the nation's leading prostate cancer organization, advancing a future where prostate cancer detection is early, support is unwavering, and care is accessible to all. For nearly 30 years, ZERO has led the way in prostate cancer advocacy, screenings, and partnerships, successfully unlocking funding toward breakthrough discoveries, treatments, and lifesaving access to care. As the nation's #1 provider of prostate cancer resources, programs, and services, ZERO has supported millions of people at-risk or diagnosed, and their families. As the voice of the prostate cancer community, ZERO's urgent focus on breaking barriers to survival—by closing gaps in diagnosis, treatment, and care—brings critical attention to those most likely to be impacted by this disease. Andy Cohen, 56, Reveals He Got Botox for the First Time: 'They Gave Me a Little'
Andy Cohen admits to getting a little work done. Cohen, 56, who hosts Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, also hosted the season 11 reunion of Married to Medicine. The Bravo show follows the lives of women doctors and women who are married to doctors. Cohen revealed that he recently got Botox injections for the first time. "About a month ago, they gave me a little," he admitted. He previously went back and forth on his decision to get injectables, after initially saying that he did not feel it was "something that I think I need to do." Related: Andy Cohen Apologizes for His Past Comments About Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Cohen spoke more at length about Botox on the How to Fail podcast in November 2024. "Joan Rivers, before she died, used to beg me to get Botox," Cohen explained. He went on to detail how several other male television hosts have Botox, and was shocked to be one of the last few to get the popular cosmetic treatment. He later quipped, "How about that? The gay guy is the one that doesn't have the Botox!" Cohen put off the procedure for so long because several medical professionals told him that he did not need the injections. On a 2016 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow told the Bravo star: 'You don't need any of these. Don't do it.' In Tuesday's upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 reunion, Cohen asks any of the cast if they had any "last-minute beauty treatments that they indulged in" with Erika Jayne revealing she got Botox the Tuesday prior. Dr. Heavenly Kimes On How She Balances Profession With ‘Married To Medicine' & If She Would Join ‘The Traitors'
Dr. Heavenly Kimes is a woman of many talents. She practices dentistry at her own establishment and stars on Bravo's Married to Medicine. Kimes is one of the most recognizable personalities of the long-running reality series, wrapping Season 11 in the coming weeks. More from Deadline Survival Competition Series 'Outlast' Renewed For Season 3 At Netflix 'Real Housewives Of Potomac' Star Karen Huger Sentenced To 2 Years In Jail, With 1 Year Suspended, Following DUI Conviction 'Below Deck's Gary King, NBCUniversal & Bravo Hit With Sexual Battery, Retaliation & Hostile Work Environment Lawsuit 'We're definitely grateful and humbled that so many people are still interested in us and we have so much more to give,' Kimes told Deadline during an interview. 'But we're just humble that people want to see our lives because it is a little bit different for us. It is a little bit different than other reality TV shows.' About how she balances her dental practice and the gruesome schedule of filming a reality TV show, Kimes said, 'I think I'm probably the most balanced person on our show, because I do have a job. I do work in my profession, but I do it three days a week, so the other four days of the week, I'm either spending time it with my kids or doing something else.' 'Bravo and Purveyors of Pop have been very, very good about working around our schedules, so it just all flows together,' she added. 'But at the end of the day, it's about priorities.' Since Kimes is one of the most outspoken personalities on Married to Medicine and can call people out without problem, many have suggested she join Peacock's The Traitors, which she says would be game for. 'I've never watched the whole thing, but I've seen some clips and it seems like a very interesting dynamic where they're bringing people from different places and playing a game,' she told us. 'I like to play games. I think I'm very good at games. I'm very smart. Phaedra is smart too, but not quite as smart as I am.' She continued, 'Everybody keeps asking me about The Traitors. I don't know why. Even when I did my last thing at Bravo, they voted me most likely to win at Traitors. I never really thought about about it, but I'm down for any opportunity. I like to play games. If you want to start a campaign, let's do it.' One of the most wholesome aspects of Kimes on Married to Medicine is her scenes with her daughter Alaura Kimes. Earlier this year, Alaura shared a video on social media with her Bravoleb mother, receiving positive reactions from fans. 'I didn't realize how much we were alike until that video,' Kimes said. 'I was looking at it like, 'She does have mannerisms like me!' I use slang and Ebonics, but it's kind of become a habit, so I use words that she's actually picked up [from me]. And to me, it's hilarious, but we do have a great time together.' Alaura is one of the few people that is able to call Kimes out and not get flack on-screen, with the Married to Medicine star saying, 'She's like her mother. Yes, she is that way, and I appreciate that. I like straightforwardness. If somebody has a problem, I'd rather them say it. Let's talk about it however it comes out, and let's move forward. I just don't like people to get stuck, like some of [my cast members] are stuck. We have to learn to move forward.' As far as her future on Married to Medicine, Kimes said, 'I can see some more seasons. As long as they want me, imma be there.' 'I think it's a great opportunity. I think I have so much more to give,' she added. 'My daughter's at a different peak in her life. We got some more seasons in us. I feel good, I look great. As an empty nester and my daughter moving back to Atlanta, I'm just excited about life right now.' Mia Thornton Blames Breakup with Boyfriend Incognito on 'RHOP': 'This Platform Doesn't Align with His Brand'
"Inc" may be permanent, but his time on The Real Housewives of Potomac sure isn't. On Sunday, Jan. 26, Mia Thornton appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she opened up about the reason behind her recent split from her ex-boyfriend Incognito. According to Thornton, the two went their separate ways because of the attention he received from being on the Bravo series. "Inc has worked really, really hard for his reputation and his career, he's 20 years in as a syndication radio personality," said Mia, 40. "And he feels as though this platform doesn't align with his brand." "I respect that and he will forever be my best friend. Are we exclusive and are we dating? No," she added. "It's fine." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. PEOPLE reached out to Incognito for comment. When pushed back about the reason by fellow guest Quad Webb (of Married to Medicine fame), Mia immediately went on the defense, noting that the timing of their romance wasn't best as she's still married to husband Gordon Thornton. "To his defense, I need to get a divorce first. I need to get a divorce first," Mia said. "So we're going to work on that, we're going to focus on [Gordon] and the kids." And though they're not together now, Mia implied that she still has a future with Incognito. "He's not going anywhere," she said. "What's meant to be is forever." Related: Karen Huger Enters Rehab, Skips Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 Reunion After Being Found Guilty for DUI Mia's relationship with Incognito has been a hot topic over the past year, especially on RHOP. The two former high school sweethearts rekindled their romance amid Mia's split from Gordon. But they also "overlapped" earlier in Mia's romance with Gordon, so much so that Mia questioned whether Gordon was their son Jeremiah's biological father. A DNA test, done by Gordon, has seemingly proved his paternity. Still, Mia and Incognito have been questioning the validity of the exam. "I honestly do not trust Gordon's test," Mia said on WWHL of the exam, which she said she wasn't a part of. "That's why I feel, I've been asking Gordon for a formal test. This could have all been squashed a long time ago if everybody would just be mature adults." Related: Ashley Darby Reveals Status of Her Divorce as She Says Ex Michael Darby Is 'in the Streets Every Weekend' As the debate plays out on TV, Mia and Incognito's breakup won't be seen as Bravo cameras went down before Mia announced their split over the holidays. Meanwhile, Incognito is not the first man who has expressed their discomfort with the platform that Housewives brings. All season long, Mia's costar Keiarna Stewart has been dealing with this with her boyfriend, Greg. "It can be challenging putting your relationship out there for the world to see," Ashley Darby said on Sunday's RHOP, herself having dealt with the same problems from estranged husband Michael Darby. "Any faults in that foundation? Believe me, baby — they will be exacerbated." RHOP airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, while WWHL airs Sunday-Thursday evenings. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
