Robert De Niro, 81, Shares Top Parenting Tip for Raising 2-Year-Old Daughter
Actor Robert De Niro has seven kids—so he's qualified to dole out a little bit of parenting advice. De Niro shared his golden rule when it comes to parenting in a recent interview, which involves unequivocally supporting his kids. In addition to a prolific acting career, De Niro also stays busy with his brood, which ranges from a 2-year-old up to a De Niro could host a masterclass on a number of topics (acting, for starters) but, as a father of seven children, he also has ample experience in that realm—certainly plenty of experience to share advice. And that he did, telling Entertainment Tonight his golden rule when it comes to parenting, including being a dad to his youngest child, 2-year-old Gia, who he shares with girlfriend Tiffany Chen. 'The main thing is to support your kids,' De Niro said. 'As long as they're not hurting themselves, doing anything destructive or anything like that, you have to support them—period.' 'Even if you don't go with it or think that they…you have to support them,' the veteran actor continued. 'And they have to know that you support them. Always.' Per Page Six, De Niro also gave an update on Gia, who was born in April 2023: 'She's just pure joy,' he said. 'She's 2 now, so as they get older and older then…you know? But it's always wonderful. Pure joy, what can I say?' De Niro said Chen—a producer whom De Niro met on the set of 2015's The Intern—'does the heavy lifting' when it comes to Gia, telling The Guardian in October 2023, 'It is what it is. It's okay. I mean, I don't do the heavy lifting,' adding that raising kids 'doesn't get easier' even if you've done it for a long time. 'I'm there. I support my girlfriend. But she does the work. And we have help, which is so important.' De Niro told The Sunday Times in November 2024 that he doesn't change Gia's diapers, 'but I used to,' he said. Referring to the popular kids YouTuber, he continued, 'I spend my mornings watching Ms. Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle.' 'I try my best, that's all,' he said about raising his seven kids, who range from 2 years old to 57 years old. 'I hope they'll be happy.' Read the original article on InStyle

The podcaster, entrepreneur, and a woman in the arts champion confirmed on social media that she will not be a part of Season 10 of the long-running reality series. More from Deadline 'Project Runway Canada' Adds Spencer Badu As Judge & Aurora James As Mentor 'Love Island USA': Yulissa Escobar Exits The Villa Amid Backlash Over Resurfaced Racist Comments 'Love Island UK' Adds Rugby Player Conor Philips To Season 12 Cast Following Surprise Islander Exit 'I've made the decision not to return to Summer House,' DeSorbo shared on Instagram. 'Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable.' She continued, 'You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for this chapter to close.' DeSorbo's Summer House exit comes after a massive year of professional growth outside the Bravo reality series. She and her former co-star and Giggly Squad podcast co-host Hannah Berner toured the U.S. with the Club Giggly comedy tour, selling out Radio City Music Hall twice. The duo also recently launched a YouTube video series that chronicled them trying new things in every city they stopped at. In addition, DeSorbo and Berner became New York Times bestsellers after the launch of their book How to Giggle. Just this week, DeSorbo launched her sleepware brand Daphne, inspired by one of her favorite hobbies — relaxing in bed. 'To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you. I never could've imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride,' she added. 'And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now, you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.' Read Paige DeSorbo's full statement below. Paige DeSorbo Will Not Return to 'Summer House' After 7 Seasons—Her Statement Explains Why
Paige Desorbo announced on her Instagram Story on June 5, 2025, that she will not return to Summer House season 10. DeSorbo had a seven-season run on the Bravo series after joining the reality show in season 3. The media personality will continue to host her podcast, Giggly Squad, and new YouTube show, Hannah and Paige Try New Things, with her best friend and Summer House alum Hannah DeSorbo will not be summering in the Hamptons this year. While she has yet to reveal how she'll be spending the warm-weather season, one thing is official: she will not return to Summer House season 10 after a seven-season run. DeSorbo took to her Instagram story to announce her departure from the hit Bravo show. "I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House," she began her statement. "Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life - the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable. You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for the chapter to close." She continued with a message of gratitude, writing, "To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you. I never could've imagined what this journey would turn into - and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven't seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed." DeSorbo first joined the reality series during season 3 with her best friend Hannah Berner. Though Berner left after two seasons, DeSorbo stayed on to become a core member of the "Bedbug Gang" with Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller. The How to Giggle author even starred in two seasons of the spinoff show, Winter House. She struck up a romance with Craig Conover in early 2021, though the couple didn't confirm their relationship until September of that year. They called it quits in November 2024. In addition to making her witty quips on the show, DeSorbo has also been the host of podcast Giggly Squad, along with Berner, since October 2020. Last month, the comedy duo also started a YouTube series called Hannah & Paige Try New Things. DeSorbo's exit does not come as a huge shock, as she hinted at an eventual end during an April 2025 interview with Glamour. 'There's an end date for me at some point. With the lifestyle of Summer House specifically, I'm probably not fitting into the original show idea anymore,' she said. 'Whenever I see a comment that's like, 'She's a little too old to be on this,' I'm like, 'Yeah, I kind of am.'' Fans were also quick to notice DeSorbo removed "Summer House" from her Instagram bio last month. While DeSorbo will not be enjoying the big house in Southhampton Town, she will surely be busy giggling with Berner and working on her new sleepwear line, Daphne, set to drop online on June 10.
