Save the Dates: Scrofano's Syfy Return, Vanderpump Villa Reunion and More
Wynonna Earp star Melanie Scrofano will soon be back on Syfy in the series Revival, premiering Thursday, June 12 at 10/9c, the cabler has announced. Additionally, Syfy released the above trailer. The show is an adaptation of the comics series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, and chronicles how, one day, those who recently died in a rural Wisconsin town suddenly come back to life. 'But this is no zombie story,' reads the official logline, 'as the 'revived' appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she's left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.' Resident Alien Season 4: The Mantid Turns Patience Upside Down in New Trailer — Plus, Get Premiere Date
Are you ready to return to Patience, Resident Alien fans? Season 4 is officially set to premiere Friday, June 6 at 11/10c on Syfy and USA Network, TVLine has learned. The fourth season starts with Harry and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. 'Asta and D'arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Mike is beginning to think aren't caused by anything human.' In the official trailer (watch it below), the Mantid wastes no time taking over Harry's life on Earth, as the real Harry V. grows some serious facial hair while stuck behind bars on the moon. Harry also explains how the Greys have implanted an inhibitor inside of him, which blocks his true alien form — and disrupts his sweet (but kinda gross) relationship with Blue Avian Heather. In addition to leading man Alan Tudyk, returning for Season 4 are Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Levi Fiehler, Meredith Garretson and Judah Prehn. Gary Farmer, Gracelyn Awad Rinke, Jenna Lamia, Sarah Podemski, Linda Hamilton, Enver Gjokaj, Terry O'Quinn and Edi Patterson are also back, alongside new guest stars Jewel Staite (Firefly) and Stephen Root (Barry). The day that 9-1-1 fans hoped would never come is almost here: the funeral of fallen hero Bobby Nash. (It's not too late to reveal that this has all been a fever dream, by the way! … No? OK, then.) TVLine has a pair of exclusive photos from Thursday's episode (ABC, 8/7c), in which the 118 says goodbye to its captain, following his death from Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever in the show's two-part 'Contagion' event. 'This was entirely a creative decision on my part, really,' showrunner Tim Minear told TVLine of Bobby's untimely demise. 'I've been thinking about it for a while. … Look, am I crawling out on a skinny branch? Maybe. On the other hand, if the stakes are never real, if there's really no chance that any of this peril in which these characters find themselves amounts to anything, I think the show could die.' Now, there is some good news in all of this: Minear confirmed to TVLine that Krause will still appear in new scenes — presumably to flashbacks of moments we never saw — over the final three episodes of the season, so at least we'll get to spend some more time with our beloved Bobby.
