Bayda undersecretary inspects summer activity programs

Bayda – Saba: Bayda undersecretary for Administrative Units Affairs Abdullah al-Jamali on Tuesday conducted an inspection visit to review the ongoing summer courses and activities in Bayda city. Joined by Director of Bayda City district Ahmed al-Rasas, al-Jamali toured the Martyr Leader and Martyr al-Sammad Summer Centers located in al-Sharia area. The officials observed various educational, cultural, and skills-based programs being offered to youth during the summer break. Center administrators briefed the delegation on student participation, the implementation of educational modules, and the diverse array of religious, cultural, and sporting competitions designed to engage the youth. Al-Jamali commended the strong turnout and enthusiasm among students from across the governorate, noting that such programs play a vital role in enriching young minds with religious and scientific knowledge while shielding them from harmful external influences. 'Youth are the cornerstone of nation-building,' he stated, stressing the importance of reinforcing their faith-based identity and awareness amid what he described as a "cultural invasion" targeting the younger generation. He praised the centers for their focus on Quranic education and fostering a resilient, values-driven generation. Sana'a - Saba: Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Uad and Capital Sana'a First undersecretary Mayor Khaled al-Madani on Saturday conducted an inspection of the summer courses underway in al-Safia and Al-Sabeen districts. Accompanied by heads of the Social Affairs and Planning Committees in the Capital Sana'a Hamoud al-Naqeeb and Sharaf al-Hadi respectively, as well as Yahya Abu Awada from the Ansarullah Executive Office, and Abdulqader al-Mahdi, head of the Education Sector in the Capital Sana'a, Ubad and al-Madani reviewed the educational and cultural activities and various programs at the Martyr Leader, Badr al-Alami, al-Zahraa, and Basmat Watan schools. They were briefed by the directors of the summer schools, in the presence of the Director of al-Safia district, Saleh al-Maysari, and the Secretary of the Seventy-Sixth District, Mohammed al-Sadiq, on the activities being offered to students. These primarily focus on the Holy Quran and its sciences, scientific, technical, and sports fields, and included examples of students' creativity in Quranic recitation, poetry, and public speaking. Ubad and al-Madani emphasized the vital role of summer courses and schools in nurturing and educating children with a strong faith-based foundation, developing their abilities and skills, honing their talents in various creative areas, and promoting a strong faith-based identity and Quranic culture. They highlighted the importance of these courses in safeguarding students and youth from the "soft war" and "false cultures" through which the nation's enemies aim to target the rising generations, infiltrate them through various means of deviation, and strip them of their identity, religious teachings, and Islamic morals. They urged parents across the Capital Secretariat's districts to encourage their children to enroll in these summer schools to benefit from the diverse activities and programs designed to provide them with valuable knowledge and build their capacities. Al-Madi explained that summer schools play a crucial role in instilling Quranic culture and faith identity in students and youth, protecting them from idleness and wasted time during the summer break. He commended the efforts and engagement of official and community leaders, their interest in the summer activities and courses, and their recognition of the importance of these programs in building a generation equipped with knowledge and learning, committed to the Holy Quran and their faith identity. Martyr Leader, Ashbal junior teams win Sammad football champion

Sana'a - Saba: Martyr Leader Ashbal and Junior teams won the Martyr Al-Samad League Cup, after defeating the Al-Samad team in the final two matches of the league organized by the Youth and Sports Office in Sana'a Governorate in coordination with the Youth Unit of the General Mobilization under the slogan "Our youth are the fruit of your pure blood". In the Cubs category, the Martyr Leader team won the final match that brought it together with the Al-Samad team, on penalties after the regular time ended in a 1/1 draw. While the Martyr Leader team won the junior category, with a score of four goals to two for the Al-Samad team. The Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, explained that the Martyr Al-Samad League, which was held for 21 days, was attended by 8 junior teams and 8 cubs teams, which were divided into 8 groups in an all-to-all system. On the sidelines of the two final matches, the Future Stars Sports Stadium and Academy were inaugurated. The closing ceremony was attended by the Directors of Sports Activities at the Youth Office in the province, Nabil Al-Namous, the Director of the Future Stars Sports Academy, Abdullah Hatem, and the General Coach at the Academy, Adnan Al-Sharmani.
