MaskTV to Launch Mask Coin, Indias Pioneer OTT Digital Token, on August 15
In a bold move that puts it ahead of the curve, MaskTV has announced the launch of Mask Coin, India's first-ever digital token built exclusively for OTT subscribers, set to go live on August 15, 2025. The token is at the core of MaskTV's newly unveiled 'Watch & Earn" model, which allows subscribers to earn Mask Coins simply by watching content on the platform. These earned tokens can then be redeemed for real in-app value — including early access to shows, merchandise discounts, fan privileges, exclusive event access, and more.
With this innovation, MaskTV becomes the first streaming platform in India to merge blockchain-inspired rewards with mainstream entertainment — signaling a major step forward in how OTT platforms engage with their audiences.
