iShowSpeed rips pants in crotch during sprint race with Jamie Carragher

Streaming sensation iShowSpeed crashed the CBS Sports post-game show and ripped his pants after challenging analyst Jamie Carragher to a race. As Carragher reacted to Liverpool's smash-and-grab 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in Wednesday's Champions League clash, Speed was invited into the studio. After meeting Carragher, host Kate Abdo, and fellow analysts Thierry Henry and Micah Richards, Speed proposed a race with the former Liverpool defender. Speed, a 20-year-old online sensation who is known for his lightning pace, unsurprisingly beat the 47-year-old analyst, although Carragher did his best to shove him out of the way. After jumping across the line, Speed quickly pulled up and revealed a major tear in his dress pants. This time, the former Liverpool defender made light work of the young streamer and beat him on several occasions. Speed's appearance on CBS ended with a backflip off the table, before the coverage concluded. Speed had already met Henry recently, after playing in the 2025 Match for Hope charity game in Qatar alongside the former soccer star. It was Henry who invited Speed to make an appearance, with the streamer set to fly to London for another charity game on March 8. Popular YouTube group the 'Sidemen' have sold out Wembley Stadium, in what will be their sixth charity soccer game. During an exchange in Qatar with Henry about CBS Sports' Champions League show, Speed said: "I would love to go on that show... because we got some things to talk about." | WATCH: Speed just DESTROYED Jamie Carragher in a race despite getting ATTACKED mid-race — Speedy HQ (@IShowSpeedHQ) March 5, 2025 Speed's CBS debut got off to a bad start, as a video emerged of him being refused entry into the studio. The steamer was turned away by the receptionist, before leaving the premises to make a phone call and seek help. Eventually, Speed made his way inside, but the embarrassment continued as he ripped his pants live on air. Despite this, it was a chaotic sports television debut for Speed, matching the usual pace of his popular videos, which has seen him gain 36 million subscribers on YouTube and 3.5 billion views. It was a bizarre ending to a freak Liverpool game, which saw the Premier League leaders dominated for 90 minutes in Paris. Reds goalkeeper Alisson Becker made 10 saves and admitted that it was the greatest performance of his career, as Harvey Elliott became the hero. Elliott replaced Mohamed Salah after 86 minutes and scored the only goal of the game with his first touch. Elliott found space out wide and was assisted by Darwin Nunez, who also came off the Liverpool bench.

Macklemore reunites with Motaz Azaiza

American rapper Macklemore met up with Palestinian photojournalist Motaz Azaiza in Qatar on Friday as the two geared up for the annual Match for Hope in Doha. "Guess who is here?" Motaz wrote under a reel shared to Instagram. The rapper wore a keffiyeh, surrounded by a small group. "Macklemore with his Palestinian brothers and sisters who were evacuated from Gaza to Doha. Thank you, Ben, for your love and being on the right side of history. We'll never forget it," Motaz wrote. Taking to the comments section, the rapper - also known as Benjamin Hammond Haggerty - responded, "So much love brother. Thank you for having me." The Match of Hope is a sports initiative involving football stars, celebrities, and influencers, who participate to raise money for education in Palestine, Sudan, Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Pakistan, as per The Sun. An avid supporter of the Palestinian cause, Macklemore performed his 2024 song Hind's Hall. The protest song was produced in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle against genocide. Through the lyrics, the 41-year-old rapper calls for a ceasefire as he lists the atrocities that Israel is subjecting Palestine to. Motaz, who arrived early to the stadium, shared snippets of the performance on Instagram Stories. Ending the spam with a picture of the duo, he wrote, "Thank you for coming, dear Ben. Hopefully, one day I can bring you into Gaza." Before this reunion, the two last met in October. From expressing his thoughts on social media to raising the flag during concerts, Macklemore has been consistently vocal about his support for Palestine. In September, he faced backlash for saying "f*** America" during a pro-Palestinian benefit concert held in Seattle. Following up with a statement shared to Instagram, he wrote, "Unfortunately, the historic event in my hometown that brought thousands of people together to raise awareness and money for the people of Palestine has been overshadowed by two words." The Thrift Shop singer clarified that his words don't always translate well and that he's prone to slipping up when caught up in the moment. However, he always strives to lead with love in order to bring people together. "I wish I had been in a better place with my grief and anger. But the truth is, I'm not okay," he wrote. "I have been disillusioned and disheartened as our government has continued to unequivocally fund and support Israel's ongoing violence against the people of Palestine. I don't think I'm alone."

USMNT Manager Pochettino Takes on Legends, Influencers in ‘Match for Hope'

Maybe the doldrums of January camp got to Mauricio Pochettino. Or maybe he's out to lend a hand to a helpful cause. Just a few weeks removed from coaching a group of relative unknowns, the U.S. men's national team's head coach traded that collection of players for some all-time luminaries: Andres Iniesta, David Silva and his captains … social media influencers Chunkz and iShowSpeed. Advertisement Coaching against the likes of Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo and Alessandro Del Piero, Pochettino led a team of legends and influencers in the 'Match for Hope,' a charity match that took place in at the 974 Stadium in Doha, Qatar on Friday. Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger led Pochettino's opponents, who were led by influencers KSI and AboFlah. The match played out about how you'd expect: some moments of truly dreadful soccer by the influencers dotted with touches of brilliance and humor from the legends. Henry in particular looked to be enjoying himself, at one point juggling the ball in the penalty area and deliberately directing it into the arm of Tobi Brown — aka TBJZL, co-founder of the 'Sidemen' — for a penalty kick. Pochettino's side found itself down three goals at halftime, clawed its way back into things to pull even at 5-5 but ultimately lost the exhibition, 6-5. The tactics Speed tried to impose on Pochettino prior to the match evidently didn't quite come off as hoped. 🚨| WATCH: Speed just met his manager Pochettino and tried to TELL HIM what formation to play the team in 🤣🤣 — Speedy HQ (@IShowSpeedHQ) February 14, 2025 Last year's inaugural Match for Hope raised $8.8 million for Qatar's 'Education Above All' foundation, which is said to have initiatives in Lebanon, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria and Pakistan. GO DEEPER USMNT has a striker injury problem before the Nations League Finals With his duties coaching YouTube's best and brightest in the rear view, Pochettino is free to return to the States to work on something a tad more important: helping the USMNT lift a first trophy under his direction. The U.S. faces Panama in a Concacaf Nations League semifinal on March 20 at SoFi Stadium outside Los Angeles. Should the Americans advance, they'll face either Mexico or Canada three days later in the final. They're looking to remain the region's only Nations League winner after capturing the first three editions of the competition.
