Inside NRL star Nat Butcher's brand new multi-million dollar Sydney home as it hits the market
NRL star Nat Butcher and his wife Harmony have listed their brand new Sydney home on the market. The Sydney Roosters player and the model recently completed the stunning duplex in Matraville, which is set to be auctioned on July 19. Future Flip, a Sydney-based design and construction company, demolished the existing two-storey home that the couple had purchased for $2.71million. In its place on the 771-square-metre parcel of land, there are now two homes - one of which the couple are selling and the other they intend to live in. The property boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a double garage, 'expansive open plan', and a rear lawn that features an inground swimming pool. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The interior design has been led by Harmony, who has been documenting her sponsored styling journey with James Lane furniture on Instagram. 'The most exciting part of this build has been turning four walls into a space we call home,' she captioned a carousel of photos posted this month. According to the listing, the home is 'flooded with natural light' thanks to an extraordinarily high stud ceiling. 'The build took just 10 months,' Harmony told The Daily Telegraph. 'Quality is important to us; we didn't want to compromise on the build or finishes. 'We had control over the finishes and layout and took on board the architect's great ideas. They brought our vision to life.' She praised the sunken lounge and open fireplace trimmed in white stone as her two favourite features. Listing photos show breezy beachside interiors that use light coloured wood and textured stone to accent the tall white walls. The large open kitchen features a butler's pantry and 'sand concrete' countertops and island, with fully integrated appliances. The four main bedrooms, including the large primary suite, are located upstairs alongside a family living room on the upper level. On the ground level, is the open plan kitchen, dining, and sunken lounge - which opens onto an alfresco dining area, landscaped backyard, and the swimming pool. An additional fifth bedroom is housed on the ground floor, alongside an ensuite bathroom. Sydney Roosters star Nat, who was recently ruled out of playing for the next six weeks due to injury, said the the turn-key home will appeal to a growing family like theirs. The sale comes after the couple announced the birth of their son Beau back in April. 'It's crazy to believe a love like this exists. We are all happy and healthy and enjoying our little love bubble,' the pair said at the time. Friends and fans were quick to share their congratulations with the couple. 'Ohhh he's soooo perfect. Congratulations you two,' one fan wrote. 'Huge congratulations to you both :) You look radiant and how gorgeous is Beau xx.' 'Okay, this is the absolute best and he is just PRECIOUS and beautiful. So are you!! Congratulations and well done mumma!' another commented. 'Tears in my eyes looking through all these amazing photos and videos. How special ! Welcome to the world little man. We can't wait to meet you xxxx.'

Roosters star's massive money move
Sydney Roosters star Nat Butcher and his model wife Harmony have listed their recently completed redundant duplex in Matraville. The Butchers had the burgeoning home builder Future Flip create the luxury duplex after they paid $2.71m for a now-demolished two-level home on its 770 sqm block. It has great street appeal. Future Flip, ran by developer Neil Hipwell which is making a name for itself from Byron to the South Coast for its modern homebuilds, built two side-by-side homes, each with five bedrooms, a kitchen with Caeserstone benchtops, and a living room with a modern gas fireplace in a feature wall. The living space opens to a rear lawn and an in-ground pool. The Butchers, with their one-year-old son Beau, intend to live in one of the homes. McGrath Coogee agent Marnie Seinor says it is the ultimate forever home for modern family living. Seinor is awaiting market feedback on price, but has scheduled a July 19 auction. Friends and family of the Butchers had previously used Future Flip. 'The build took just 10 months,' Harmony told The Daily Telegraph 'We'd seen the high standard of Future Flip homes,' Harmony said. 'Quality is important to us; we didn't want to compromise on the build or finishes. 'We had control over the finishes and layout and took on board the architect's great ideas. They brought our vision to life.' She especially loves its high ceilings, the open fireplace and the sunken lounge. Nat Butcher, who was recently ruled out for the next six weeks after suffering a recurrence of an MCL strain in training, said the home will suit a family. 'It's a big home with a big backyard and great for entertaining...... it's also only five minutes to the beach.' Harmony, a model represented by Chic Management, has been documenting the building journey to her 91,000 Instagram followers. 'The most exciting part of this build has been turning four walls into a space we call home,' Harmony wrote last month amid pictures of their recent furniture purchase with James Lane. The couple collaborated with Joshua Hill on the photography. Matraville has been a popular pocket for new-build duplexes by footballers. South Sydney Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray is a few months off completion of his duplex. He bulldozed the original home bought with fiancee Miranda Cross for $3.1m in 2022. Former Sydney Swan Luke Parker developed a duplex in 2022.

Aussie couple makes $500,000 in just 55 days after knock on the door: 'Absolute steal'
A Sydney property has sold just 55 days after it was last purchased, but for $500,000 extra. The Matraville duplex sold in late February for $2.55 million to a couple, and they had only just moved in their belongings when they got a knock at the door from LJ Hooker agent Aaron Del Monte. He had been showing a client an off-market property next door, but they weren't satisfied with how it looked on the inside. Del Monte told Yahoo Finance they saw the nearby duplex and wanted to know more. "I did everything I could to try and get the owner's details," he recalled. "I went and door-knocked it and I said to the owner, 'Look, I know you just bought it [but] if you could make a profit on it, would you?'" But Del Monte didn't back down and promised to make it worth his while if he allowed his client to at least have a look through the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. While it didn't make the owner's wife happy, he agreed, and the agent's clients loved it. They initially offered $2.8 million, and within a week, they agreed to a final price of $3.05 million, which is well above the suburb's median house price of $2.61 million. "Both the buyer and the owner were so excited," Del Monte told Yahoo Finance."Because the buyer loved the place, and the owner was obviously over the moon. Who makes that kind of money in that time?" The agent's clients had just sold their place in north Randwick and wanted somewhere in Sydney where they could live when they weren't staying at their other home in the Southern Highlands. Because they had originally lived in Bellevue Hill and that harbour-side area, they thought $3 million was an "absolute steal" for what was on offer. "They liked that in Matraville they could walk to the beaches," he said. "It's a lot quieter than the areas that they've lived in. From there, they could also travel to the Southern Highlands pretty easily. So it just worked." The couple wasn't even originally looking in that area of Sydney, but Del Monte convinced them they could get far more bang for their buck if they expanded their search just a touch. "What was unique about this one is that it's full brick, with cement slabs between each floor," he said. "It had a huge basement flexibility in terms of floor plan. The style of it was probably more to their liking than the modern style home. "I was just connecting the right buyer with the right property. They weren't as worried that it sold for $2.55 million as what other buyers probably would have been, because their perception of value is very different from the areas that they were looking in." It's a big win for Del Monte as the person who bought the Matraville property in February has now tasked him with finding a new home. The agent has noticed a trend of buyers in those harbour-side suburbs branching out to capitalise on some of the cheaper areas like Kingsford and Eastlakes. "I opened up an office in Randwick for the simple fact that we can offer a lot more to that southern end of the eastern suburbs by connecting the Double Bay, Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill type of buyers, because there's a real shift at the moment," he while retrieving data Sign in to access your portfolio Error while retrieving data
