MIAA girls' hockey tournament: See the seedings and matchups for Divisions 1-2

Both tournaments will conclude with state championship games on Sunday, March 16, at TD Garden. Hingham draws the top seed in the Division 1 field. The Harborwomen were the state's last unbeaten team prior to suffering their first loss to St. Mary's in the regular season finale on Thursday. St. Mary's is the defending Division 1 state champion, and enters this year's tournament as the No. 14 seed after notching a sub-.500 record in the difficult Catholic Central. Advertisement Other top Division 1 contenders include No. 2 Notre Dame (Hingham) and No. 3 Malden Catholic, two independent powers who have thrived against challenging schedules. Meanwhile, Westwood claims the top seed in the Division 2 field after an 18-1-1 season in which they cruised to the Tri-Valley league title. The Wolverines' sole loss came just last week to Hingham. Two-time defending champion Duxbury is seeded second in Division 2, and is battle-tested after squaring off with many of the state's top teams in both Patriot league and nonleague play.
