NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has officially launched its Cyber Club, a student-led initiative aimed at promoting awareness about cyber security and digital hygiene on campus. The event was organised under the Office of the Dean Students' Welfare, with the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof Mazhar Asif, serving as Chief Patron. Prof Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi, Registrar of JMI, acted as Patron, while Dr Hemant Tiwari, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South East District, was present as a special guest. Attendees included IPS officers, senior Delhi Police officials, Deans, faculty members, staff, and students. In addition, the university will set up an advanced digital gaming lab, a creative media and mobile app development lab, and an advanced XR immersive media lab.
