July, a Vermont native, is a multi-hyphenate creator; she broke through in a major way when she starred in the 2005 indie film 'Me and You and Everyone We Know,' which she also wrote and directed. She also published the novel 'The First Bad Man' and the short story collection 'No One Belongs Here More Than You.' Her most recent full-length film was 2020's '
No star has been announced yet, although presumably any number of your favorite actresses who can convincingly pass for 45 are hurriedly calling up their agents. The press release didn't indicate whether the planned adaptation would be a miniseries or an ongoing show, nor is there an estimated release date as of yet.
